Introduction
Welcome to the Detroit Become Human Trophy Guide! This game is a cinematic experience similar to Heavy Rain or Beyond Two Souls. Your decisions impact the outcome of the story. There are 1-2 bronze trophies for (almost) every chapter. Luckily, you can get these through chapter select quickly if you missed anything. The two longest trophies that take place across an entire playthrough are “SURVIVORS” (everyone survives until the end) and “I’LL BE BACK” (Connor dies at every opportunity). All other trophies can be done within their chapters at any time or require only minimal replay. It’s worth noting that if you want to change the outcome you must replay all the way from where you “messed up”. You can’t just replay one chapter and jump back to the end, this won’t save your changes. You would have to replay all chapters continuously from the point where you “messed up”. There are also collectibles and they depend on your choices, these will require some partial replays to get everything.
Step 1: Full Playthrough + Chapter Trophies (Bronze Trophies) + Magazine Collectibles
[Time for this Step: 10 Hours]
It’s highly recommended you follow the trophy guide as you play through the game, from top to bottom, from one trophy to the next. The trophy list is made in such a way that all trophies fit together perfectly, assuming you did the trophies leading up to them. Deviate from the trophy order and a lot of things may become unobtainable on your playthrough. At certain points there are two trophies per chapter. I will point out in the guide which one to do first and which decision to keep for your main save (to reduce replays and make it fit together with upcoming trophies). Stick to the guide one trophy after the other and you’ll be able to get this platinum quickly and efficiently.
Try to keep your characters alive, otherwise it will lock you out from their future levels! Keeping everyone alive will also reduce the amount of replay you will have to do to get the “SURVIVORS” trophy. We’ll deal with that in the next step otherwise it can get a bit overwhelming on the first run. Do note, that you must also keep side characters alive (including friends of Kara and Markus). Deviants and Police don’t impact the SURVIVORS trophy and can be killed. Stay friendly with everyone (even Hank) and if you lose a character quit out to the Main Menu and click Continue to replay from the last checkpoint and try again.
All trophies unlock at the end of their chapter, during the flowchart overview. If you forgot a bronze trophy (or a chapter has two bronze trophies), replay the last checkpoint right away to get your missing trophy.
There are also 46 magazine collectibles in the game. However, most of the magazines have 2 cover topics (these count as separate collectibles even though they are in the same magazine). Make sure you always read every page in the magazine and check both covers (swipe touchpad down and swipe right).
Follow the Detroit Become Human Magazine Locations Guide along the way. Be sure to pick up everything you can. It’s impossible to get all magazines on the first run because they depend on your choices. Some reflect on events in the game, what this means is if you chose Decision A you will get magazine A – if you chose decision B you will get magazine B (in the exact same location a different magazine will spawn). The requirements are all pointed out in the collectible guide. Don’t obsess over it just yet, pick up what you can and we’ll do a cleanup later.
You can also follow the Detroit Become Human Trophy Playlist (YouTube) that has all chapter-specific trophies in chronological order.
Step 2: Partial Playthrough for SURVIVORS Trophy (Everyone Survives until the End)
[Time for this Step: 3 Hours]
If someone died in your first run, you only need to replay from the level where that character died. You must replay all levels from that point on otherwise the changes won’t be saved (for example if someone died in chapter 23 you can’t just replay that chapter and jump straight back into chapter 32. You’d have to replay chapters 23 – 32 one after the other).
These are the characters that must survive: Connor, Hank, Kara, Alice, Luther, Jerry, Markus, Simon, North, Josh.
Refer to the “SURVIVORS” trophy description for all the details. For a full game walkthrough with flowcharts of all decisions leading up to this trophy, refer to the Detroit Become Human Everyone Survives Walkthrough.
Deviants and Police do NOT matter for this. However, when given a choice always pick the peaceful option and don’t start a fight. Always do the peaceful protest options.
Watch out for magazines, read every magazine again. In case you made different choices you may get new magazines in the same location!
Step 3: Full Playthrough for I’LL BE BACK Trophy (Connor dies at every Opportunity) + “JUST A MACHINE” (Hank shoots Connor)
[Time for this Step: 6 Hours]
There are 10 opportunities for Connor to die. Luckily, you can cut this playthrough short by letting Kara die in “Chapter: On the Run” and Markus in “Chapter: Freedom March”. This cuts down the playthrough time by about 4 hours.
Refer to the trophy “I’LL BE BACK” for all the death scenes and how to trigger them. Be sure you don’t skip any one of them (the death in the optional Interrogation chapter is also needed). In your previous playthrough, if you were friends with Hank, you will have missed “JUST A MACHINE”. This time we want him to hate us so that he shoots Connor in the head during Chapter: The Bridge. Not only is it necessary for all Connor deaths but you also get a bronze trophy for it!
Watch out for magazines, read every magazine again. In case you made different choices you may get new magazines in the same location!
Step 4: Magazines Mop-Up (Collectibles)
[Time for this Step: 1-3 Hours]
Odds are, even after all these replays you are still missing some magazines (depending on the choices you have made). Refer to the Detroit Become Human Magazine Locations Guide to find your last missing magazines. You can see which ones you have found in the Extras Menu > Magazines. In the collectible guide they are all numbered just like in the Extras Menu. Be sure to enable the Save Feature when you replay chapters and play them to the end for the flowchart to update properly. On that note, you can also view the magazines you have read within a given chapter by accessing the flowchart. After this step you should have the Detroit Become Human Platinum Trophy, congrats!

SHELTER Kara and Alice slept in the motel or the squat |

Chapter: Fugitives You have two options here; either steal $40 from the grocery store and clothes from the laundromat — or cut open the fence to the abandoned house and sleep there. The abandoned house (squat) is the easier option and what I chose.

Chapter: The Eden Club Note: The trophy list is out of order here. The next story trophy is “JERICHO’S HERO” (two trophies below). After doing that trophy get back here for the RUTHLESS trophy.
Note: After finishing the chapter and receiving the trophy, you can quit out to the main menu and replay from the last checkpoint (turn on Save Feature in chapter select). This time choose the SPARE option for the DOUBTS trophy. Now continue the story on that new save. Flowchart: |

JUST A MACHINE Hank killed Connor |
||
Chapter: The Bridge Note: The trophy list is out of order here. The next story trophy is “A SMILE ON HER FACE” (one trophy below). After doing that trophy get back here for the JUST A MACHINE trophy. For this Hank must be hostile towards Connor. You must have very low reputation with him. Always defy him, talk back at him, say that deviants are just machines and have no feelings. You can check relationship status in the flowchart at any time. I also made Connor shoot the two Tracis in “Chapter: The Eden Club” (not sure if it’s absolutely needed but it reduces reputation with Hank a whole lot and certainly helps with this trophy). During “Chapter: The Bridge” pick the following dialogues:
Flowchart: |
||
A SMILE ON HER FACE Alice enjoyed a ride on the merry-go-round |
||
Chapter: The Pirates’ Cove
Flowchart: |
||
WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER Markus broadcasted his message without raising an alarm or having a team casualty |
||
It’s recommended you do the trophy ‘A GLIMPSE OF JERICHO’ first and then replay the final checkpoint of the Stratford Tower with everyone escaping. Keep this as your main save. This is to reduce replay time for the ‘SURVIVORS’ trophy. Chapter: The Stratford Tower
Flowchart: |
||
A GLIMPSE OF JERICHO Connor connected to Simon |
||
Chapters: The Stratford Tower & Public Enemy This trophy takes place across 2 chapters! Luckily, they are consecutive chapters (they are both directly connected with no other chapters in between). If you’ve already unlocked trophy WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER you will have to reload the last checkpoint and replay from there. CHAPTER: The Stratford Tower (Checkpoint: On the Rooftop)
CHAPTER: Public Enemy
Tip for SURVIVORS trophy (everyone survives): Since connecting to Simon cancels out the SURVIVORS trophy, what you should do is reload the last checkpoint of “Chapter: The Stratford Tower” (with Save featured enabled). This time have Simon escape with Markus and the rest of the crew. Now in “Chapter: Public Enemy” you can interrogate the deviant in the kitchen and continue the story with everyone alive. Be sure to catch the deviant, it’s needed for ‘BLOODHOUND’ trophy (the kitchen deviant will get shot but that doesn’t impact the SURVIVORS trophy). Flowchart: |
||
SEND A MESSAGE Markus conducted a pacifist riot |
||
Chapter: Capitol Park Note: The trophy list is out of order here. The next story trophy is “NOTHING TO SEE HERE” (two trophies below). After doing that trophy get back here for the SEND A MESSAGE trophy. First, you must break into the shop and convert all androids. It is possible to fail this. What you have to do is disable the alarm (follow red wire), disable the police drone flying over the plaza, and finally block the road and get the truck to drive it through the shop window. Then you can recruit the androids for your cause and can decide whether to have a pacifist (peaceful) or violent riot.
Note: After finishing the chapter and receiving the trophy, you can quit out to the main menu and replay the last checkpoint for the next trophy “BURN THE PLACE”. However, this time disable the Save Feature. Keep the “Pacifist Riot” for you Main Save, it helps to maintain supportive public opinion for the SURVIVORS trophy (everyone survives). Flowchart: |
||
BURN THE PLACE Markus conducted a violent riot |
||
Chapter: Capitol Park First, you must break into the shop and convert all androids.

NOTHING TO SEE HERE Kara succeeded to make the cop go away |
||
Chapter: Midnight Train During this chapter a cop will automatically come to the house you’re staying at.
Flowchart: |
||
CONFRONTATION Markus attacked the police |
||
Chapter: Freedom March Note: The trophy list is out of order here. The next story trophies are “PRIORITIES” & KINSHIP” (two trophies below). After doing that get back here for the CONFRONTATION trophy.
Note: After finishing the chapter and receiving the trophy, you can quit out to the main menu and replay the last checkpoint for the next trophy “STAND YOUR GROUND”. If you’re going for the SURVIVORS trophy it’s recommended you replay once more and choose DISPERSE before continuing the story! The DISPERSE option is best because it doesn’t get anyone killed and doesn’t reduce public opinion. Flowchart: |
||
STAND YOUR GROUND Markus stood his ground against the police |
||
Chapter: Freedom March
Note: Because this results in Markus dying and can void many other trophies it’s highly recommended that you either disable the save mechanic if you do this trophy in chapter select, or you replay the last checkpoint once more but this time choose the DISPERE option. This works best for the SURVIVORS trophy because it doesn’t get anyone killed and doesn’t reduce public opinion. Flowchart: |
||
PRIORITIES Connor killed the Chloe |
||
Chapter: Meet Kamski During this chapter Connor automatically has to take the Turing Test, it’s unmissable and there’s no way around it.
Note: After finishing the chapter and receiving the trophy, you can quit out to the main menu and replay the last checkpoint for the next trophy “KINSHIP”. Turn on the Save Feature and keep the KINSHIP Save for the rest of your playthrough. Not killing Chloe is the best option to stay friends with Hank. Flowchart: |
||
KINSHIP Connor refused to kill the Chloe |
||
Chapter: Meet Kamski During this chapter Connor automatically has to take the Turing Test, it’s unmissable and there’s no way around it.
Flowchart: |

BLOODHOUND Connor got the location of Jericho by himself |
||
Chapter: Last Chance Connor Going into this chapter I completed the following requirements:
The first two steps will land either the kitchen Deviant’s or Simon’s body in the evidence locker. The last part makes it so Kamski doesn’t give you the decryption key to Jericho and you must find your own solution (by rebooting and tricking the Deviant or Simon). Steps required in Chapter “Last Chance Connor”:
Flowchart: |
||
THREE AT JERICHO Bring the three characters to Crossroads |
||
Chapter: Crossroads
For this you must keep all 3 characters alive until the Crossroads chapter. Then in this chapter where Connor will see Kara (but she won’t notice him), Kara will talk to Markus, and Markus will encounter Connor and try to convince him to side with the androids. Simply keep everyone alive up until this point in the game. If you followed the trophy guide this far you should be getting this automatically. |
||
SCORCHED EARTH Markus or Connor detonated the freighter |
||
Chapter: Crossroads There are many ways this chapter can play out, here’s how I did it:
Flowchart: |
||
LIBERATION Markus reached the camp and liberated the androids |
||
Chapters: Night of the Soul – Markus + Battle for Detroit – Markus Revolution
Note: doing the violent revolution voids the “SURVIVORS” trophy. If you want everyone survive you must go with the peaceful demonstration, see “Moral Victory” trophy. Flowchart: |
||
MORAL VICTORY Markus succeeded in making the soldiers stand back |
||
Chapter: Battle for Detroit – Markus Demonstration For this you need to max out the positive public opinion on androids. Markus must never kill any humans, always choose the peaceful protest options. At the end of Battle for Detroit choose either to Kiss North (if her and Markus are lovers) or Sing.
Flowchart: |
||
ESCAPE DEATH Kara and Alice escaped the recycling center |
||
Chapters: Crossroads & Battle for Detroit
You can also get this trophy by picking the violent Revolution option with Markus in ‘Night of the Soul’. When he reaches the recycling center Kara & Alice will be freed. Flowchart: |

SAFE HARBOR Kara and Alice passed the border |

Chapter: Battle for Detroit – Kara Leaving Detroit Prerequisites:
The remaining steps take place in Chapter: Battle for Detroit – Kara Leaving Detroit:

AN ARMY OF ME Connor converted the androids |
||
Chapter: Battle for Detroit – Connor at the Cyberlife Tower Requirements:
Then in Chapter: Battle for Detroit, Connor will start at the CyberLife Tower.
Flowchart: |

MISSION COMPLETE Connor killed the leader of the deviants |
||
Chapter: Battle for Detroit This can be done during the game ending. For this to work Connor must have become a deviant (see Trophy ‘ONE OF US’) and be working together with Markus. Both Markus and Connor must survive until the end of the story.
*Note: Connor killing Markus in Chapter: Crossroads does NOT unlock this trophy. It has to happen in Chapter: Battle for Detroit. (This event does not show up in the flowchart). |
||
MY TURN TO DECIDE Connor resisted hacking attempt from CyberLife |
||
Chapter: Battle for Detroit (Game Ending) This can be done during the game ending. For this to work Connor must have become a deviant (see Trophy ‘ONE OF US’) and be working together with Markus. Both Markus and Connor must survive until the end of the story.
(This event does not show up in the flowchart). |
||
COMPLIANT Connor stayed a machine |
||
Chapter: Crossroads For this at least Connor and Markus must stay alive until the Crossroads chapter. Connor must also have figured out the location of Jericho in the previous chapter “Last Chance Connor” (Trophy: ‘Bloodhound’).

ONE OF US Connor became deviant |

Chapter: Crossroads Prerequisites:

UNDEFEATED Don’t lose any fight before reaching the end |
||
Don’t lose any fight before reaching the end
This trophy takes place over an entire playthrough. It’s easy if you concentrate on it but at the same time easily missable. Depending on your choices there will be several fighting sequences throughout the game (it completely depends on your decisions, will be different for every player). In them you must quickly push a series of buttons. To make things easier, play on CASUAL Difficulty. All you’ll have to do is press and when they show up during fights. Sometimes these are fist fights, quick escape sequences, or gunfights. Pressing one wrong button doesn’t affect it. Just if you completely lose a fight and get overwhelmed by the attacker(s) you will lose out on this. When you lose you will know (i.e. you messed up too many button presses and get hurt or even killed). |
||
BOOKWORM Find every single magazine in the game |
||
The magazines are covered in a guide of their own. Refer to the link below: |
||
PARTNERS Hank and Connor were friends until the end |
||
For this you must reach friendship level with Hank by the end of the game. Both Connor and Hank have to stay alive until the very end. There are a few key moments that can greatly boost your friendship status. None of these make or break your friendship with him, these are optional but recommended:
Defining Moments (Must Do):
Flowchart: |
||
HAPPY FAMILY Kara, Alice, Luther are together at the end |
||
Chapter: Battle for Detroit – Kara Leaving Detroit For this you must keep Kara, Alice, and Luther alive throughout the entire game. Especially Luther is an easy character to lose. If he dies you can always quit out to the main menu and replay the last section via chapter select with the Save Feature enabled. Below are the defining moments for Luther’s survival:
The actual trophy then takes place in Chapter: Battle of Detroit – Kara Leaving Detroit
Flowchart: |
||
I’LL BE BACK Connor died and returned at every opportunity before reaching the end |
||
For this Connor must die 10 times in one playthrough. You have to start a New Story for this! You can’t just jump in one chapter to let him die and move on to the next – this would not update your progress between chapters and doesn’t earn the trophy. All chapters must be replayed one after the other, not skipping any chapters in between. Some chapters have more than one way for Connor to die. In those you need just one death, I always picked the first possibility to die in each chapter. You must also be hostile with Hank so that he shoots Connor in the “Bridge” Chapter. Always be disobedient to him, talk bad about androids, be cold, spill his drink, kill the two Tracis in Eden Club to really get him mad. When you visit Amanda you can check the graveyard in the back of her garden to view your deaths. I played on Experienced Difficulty for this and recommend you do the same (it’s easier to get some characters killed early on to shorten the story). Again, I want to point out it has to be a new playthrough from start to end, not chapter select. Go to MAIN MENU > NEW STORY > EXPERIENCED DIFFICULTY. You can cut this playthrough short by letting Kara die in “Chapter: On the Run”, when she crosses the highway with Alice. Just don’t press any buttons and a car will kill Kara and Alice, thus removing all their future chapters (must play on Experienced Difficulty). You can also let Markus die during “Chapter: Freedom March”. When the police stops the March, pick option ATTACK > don’t press any buttons to lose the fight and then make Markus shoot himself after he loses. This removes all of his upcoming chapters and you can save a lot of time. All Connor Deaths:
The I’ll be Back trophy unlocks shortly after the 8th death, in the flowchart after “Night of the Soul”. |
||
THIS IS MY STORY Finish the game once |
||
Complete one playthrough of Detroit: Become Human, any way you see fit. The outcome doesn’t matter.
THESE ARE OUR STORIES Spend 20,000 bonus points |
||
One playthrough should give you around 20,000 bonus points. After doing all trophies you will definitely have well over 20,000. Bonus points are rewarded for every choice you unlock in the flowchart. Replaying chapters and making different choices unlocks more points. Once you have 20,000, go to the Main Menu > Extras. Buy some Artwork/Videos/Soundtrack/Galleries until you’ve spent 20,000 total. Do note that Extras unlock as you play through the game so you will have to be very close to the end to have enough Extras worth 20,000 points.
SURVIVORS Everyone is alive at the end |
||
For this none of the character listed below is allowed to die over the course of the game. If you lose someone, quit out to the main menu and replay the chapter from the last checkpoint. Never leave anyone behind, always help your friends even if it puts you at risk, but never sacrifice yourself either. Deviants and Police forces do NOT impact this. It’s okay to kill Deviants yourself, have them commit suicide, or have them massacre humans. It’s also okay to kill police (and you will have to in order to save North and infiltrate CyberLife with Deviant Connor). Only the characters below must be alive, nobody else matters for this. People/Androids to keep alive:
All Decisions/Flowcharts for “Survivors” Trophy (complete Walkthrough): I compiled a list of all my choices from the entire playthrough that unlocked the Survivors trophy. If you’re in doubt anywhere, refer to the guide linked below. Remember it’s perfectly okay for Deviants to die, they don’t matter. » Detroit Become Human Survivors Trophy, Everyone Survives Walkthrough |

Confusing guide you mean. Why always out of order

The trophy list is out of order…

Actually the earliest Kara can die is at Todd’s house. Choose to obey him when he says “stand still”. He’ll do drugs and go upstairs. Where he kills Alice. There will be a cut scene where he lays her on the bed. Then he blames Kara. He walks toward her. And the screen goes black. This means he killed Kara also.

Thanks for posting. Another platinum in no time!
Going my first playthrough blind. Guessing with this guide it will take around 30 hours that way?
PowerPyx says
If you go blind my only advice would be to keep everyone alive (give the list of surviving characters a quick read). If someone dies, restart checkpoint. Then you need minimal replays. The other bronze trophies you can pick up on your ‘I’LL BE BACK’ playthrough or do them quickly in chapter select.
If you can make everyone survive then probably 25h-30h. Also pick up the magazines you find, will reduce replays a bit.
Timbo says
I got the game a day early seems like it was a big mistake to play it as I haven’t earned any trophies as they weren’t live. Kinda had the assumption they’d pop the moment I logged on the game today I was wrong ha e to start from the beginning.
Kind of confused how you earned the trophies before the game was released?
Robert says
Hey PowerPyx. I can not see any option to restart from a checkpoint after finishing a chapter. I have tried quitting the game and restarting at the end of chapter screen, but after I select continue, the game loads from the next chapter. Chapter select only allows me to play from the beginning of a chapter. How do you choose a specific checkpoint to replay?
PowerPyx says
Go to chapter select and pick the last checkpoint there. Not every chapter has checkpoints in between (for example very short ones from Markus don’t, but the very first level has one right before stepping on the balcony). It depends on the chapter. Has to be done via chapter select.
Less says
Is it possible to get “I’ll be back” and bookworm trophy in one playthrough??
PowerPyx says
It depends. If you got all possible magazines on the previous playthrough you can then pick the opposite choices on I’ll Be Back run and get remaining magazines.
But if I’ll be Back is your first run then no. You need multiple playthroughs for all magazines.
Cetra says
You don’t need Simon to jump off the tower with you. I left him behind and he rejoined in a later chapter in Jericho.
Also Connor choosing Sacrifice during the March will not automatically kill him. With he android from Spare Parts being safe he can sacrifice himself but you might know that already.
Lesh says
Think you mean Marcus? This was what I did for the march.
Daniel says
Hi powerpyx. I found a issue about the friendship trophy of hank and connor. If all else constant, this trophy will ONLY pop up if connor resist the control and NOT kill markus. Hope this helps
PowerPyx says
By resist the control you mean during the end in “Battle for Detroit” he has to escape the hack by Amanda/CyberLife (by using blue touchpad on the stone)?
Daniel says
Yes. Resist the amenda control and then the trophy will pop. Otherise the trophy will remain locked
PowerPyx says
Thanks, added to the guide now!
Daniel says
There is a cutscene of hank meeting conmor after markus declartion of victory after the revolution
Free says
About a third of the way through and you have made the game so much more enjoyable PowerPyx.
Thanks again for your work. They should have Oscars or Grammys for guide makers. Bravo
PowerPyx says
Thanks for your kind words, that’s so good to hear! 🙂
Glad you’re enjoying it so far, happy trophy hunt.
Cozza says
Hi during your trophy guide you say to get A glimpse of Jericho after When a Plan comes together but doing this means Simon dies and void the everyone alive trophy ? or was this planned as i will go back and re do this chapter and not connect to simon.
PowerPyx says
After you get A Glimpse of Jericho you can reload the previous chapter’s last checkpoint and let Simon survive.
Judithpa says
Thank you for the guide! I have a quick question, I’m so confused now about Connor, he got desactivate in “Last Chance Connor” chapter. I was very carful, but now I have not clue how I can keep him alive in that chapter, because is like a dead end!! Please help!
Judithpa says
Nevermind, I figure out. Thank you anyway for the immense and incredible work in the guide!
Daniel says
Another issue related to the death of kara during the highway chase. Two highway crossing qtes must be ALL FAILED instead of your writing of SUCESSFUL THE FIRST AND FAIL THE SECOND
PowerPyx says
No, not in my game. What difficulty are you on?
If you fail the first highway section she dies right then and there and Connor never even gets to jump over the fence to go after her. You have to survive the first highway crossing (if you mess up a truck hits her and Connor never gets to die). I was on experienced difficulty.
Daniel says
Maybe because my difficulty is on easy…Checked other tips talking about experienced difficulty and they said must pass the first one
Nicolai Hansen says
Can you start a chapter to do a fx Connor Death Run, save it and go to the next chapter you are needed?
PowerPyx says
No. Has to be a new playthrough from start to finish as pointed out in the guide. Jumping from one chapter to the next doesn’t save your progress and does not earn the trophy.
Judithpa says
I just realized you never ever has reply my questions. This is the 5th or 6th time I have ask something in some of your guide and you jump my questions for the next one. I guess is okay, is your page. Thanks anyway.
PowerPyx says
I didn’t know the answer to your question. Don’t let that discourage you from asking, I encourage it and always write back when I have time and know the answer! 🙂
Winnie says
Hello. I just followed your guide on “I’ll be back”. Sudden my progress skipped on “last chance connor” chapter and I couldn’t die…
And I tried to die but it skipped it maybe I shouldn’t kill chloe for jericho location?
Do I have to play this all over again? 🙁
PowerPyx says
No need to play whole game again. I think what may have happened is that you didn’t collect enough evidence to find location to Jericho.
To fix your issue you need one of these to interrogate:
– The Two Tracis (killed in ‘The Eden Club’)
– Broadcast Tower Deviant (killed in ‘Public Enemy’) –> instead of waiting to die, go after him and pick “CHOOSE HANK” option then he kills you and police kills him.
– Rupert (from ‘The Nest’)? Never actually caught him, not sure if he can be interrogated.
– You can also try to get Jericho Decryption key from Kamski by shooting his Chloe (untested at the moment)
I’m doing some more testing on this. Please also report back what solved it for you in the end so I can update in the guide.
Ouka says
You have to figure out the location of Jericho by yourself. If you got it from Kamski, Connor will just go straight there. Also you have to just leave when Gavin confronts Connor about going into the evidence room or else he won’t be suspicious and therefore not appear later on to shoot Connor.
Winnie says
Thank you so much for reply!
I just finished and got the trophy exactly you mention on first guide :D
I’ve been watching your video guides for few months and it is very helpful and this time too.
I really appreciate it to you Powerpyx!
Phen says
During the “I’LL BE BACK” play-through, can you not kill Connor to get a different trophy then restart from that chapter with “SAVE” on ensuring he dies each time?
For example: Complete the trophy for getting a confession, then reload the chapter and get him killed.
PowerPyx says
No.
You have to replay full game. Replaying just the chapters does nothing, it won’t transfer the progress to later chapters. Cannot be done via chapter select, all chapters have to be replayed without skipping any.
Cache671 says
PowerPyx awesome guide. I just wanna add on another playthrough, if u bring the android (from the cyberlife warehouse) to join u, he tells u theres a truckload of cyberlife parts u can steal. AND that same android will sacrifice himself for you if you decide to sacrifice MARKUS at the Freedom March. so you can sacrifice MARKUS and he will still live, because of that android u converted and brought with u to jericho.
KnowsMuch says
Escape Death can also be obtained by having Kara rejoin Alice (keeping her stress low as a result) and then doing Revolution path with Narkus and winning the battle. The camp they are battling to save is the camp Kara and Alice and company are at…
yumex says
Just an info that could be added: during freedom march, I chose stand ground- stand ground and sacrifice, but in my case Markus was shot but did NOT get killed, because during the chapter where Markus is stealing parts, I let the security android join Jericho. That same guard protects Markus when you pick sacrifice during freedom march.
Daniel says
Yep, if u save the guard android he will die for you, in this case if you want Markus to die, you must proceed to the planting bomb section, and DO NOT do QTEs and got killed by assault forces
Nibroc704 says
Can I replay chapters in my “I’ll Be Back” playthough? It’s my second playthough, and other than the magazine collectibles, I have to get “CATCH IT”, so can I get that trophy, reload the chapter, and die as Connor?
winnie says
Hello again.
I was a bit confused about I couldn’t get the trophy after 10 hours.
So I wanted to know answer quick so I left some comment few hours ago.
I read your guide again. I realized I got killed 9times only I need to get kill by Gary in “Last chance connor” chapter. I am not sure what should I to trigger it..can I let police kill simon and die by another android in kitchen?
PowerPyx says
I wrote back to your previous comment a few minutes ago, I think we were typing at the same time.
I just checked save of that playthrough. I interrogated the two Tracis to find Jericho location (as is pointed out in the text guide for I’ll Be Back).

Cache671 says
Another question to PowerPyx. Why do u suggest to “BURN THE PLACE” (turn on Save Feature in chapter select). and continue your save from their? Is that absolutely necessary for Survivors trophy? I think I would go pacifist way, replay chapter for BURN THE PLACE trophy, but not save.
PowerPyx says
You can also do it the other way around. Pacifist route would actually better in terms of SURVIVORS trophy. Personally, I went violent path first.
Cache671 says
Also is there a way to do Happy Family but giving the tickets back to the family?
Lebbrin says
I gave the tickets back. That meant that I had to take the boat across the river. Luther gets shot in that path and sacrifices himself to lighten the boat so you can’t get Happy Family that way.
Amber says
At the crossroads chapter when Connor confronts Markus, I don’t have the option to become a deviant. Can you tell me how to get this path unlocked?
DV2FOX says
It’s the 2nd time i send a question and the 1st one got ignored/deleted..
Can you skip the credits this time, so that you can do the trophy clean up faster?..
PowerPyx says
There’s roughly 2-3 minutes of unskippable credits after that you can skip.
Haptism says
Thanks a lot for your guide, it’s great and very helpful 🙂
I’ve got an additional information regarding getting “I’ll be back” faster, though.
“You can also let Markus die during “Chapter: Freedom March”. When the police stops the March, pick option STAND GROUND > > STAND GROUND > SACRIFICE. Then the police shoot Markus. This removes all of his upcoming chapters and you can save a lot of time.”
That did not work for me: Because I let John join me in “Spare Parts”, he sacrificed himself after I decded to sacrifice myself as Markus. You need to refuse when John asks to join you or Markus won’t die.
PowerPyx says
Will add it in, thanks!
You can still earn the trophy though so no worries. It just adds a little bit of Markus’s story at the end.
Faisal says
You can do step 2 and 1 togather right ?
PowerPyx says
In theory yes, but you may have to do some replay if something goes. It is possible though to let everyone survive on first run and also get the bulk of bronze trophies along the way.
Snake2410 says
I got Know Your Partner just by getting up and discovering all the clues on the desk, along with listening to the headphones and looking at the picture and articles on the right hand side. Didn’t use the call prompt. Trophy will pop if you exit out of the game as you’re following Hank to the chief’s office. It popped for me on the loading screen after I exited, thinking I missed the phone and trophy.
Amalia Fameliari says
Thank you for the great guide!
I wanna add my suggestion for the “ESCAPE DEATH” trophy. You can get it while going for the LIBERATION trophy.
During Kara’s scene (where she was going for the bus and you had to hide from the guards) i let the guards capture her and Alice, and they got transferred to the recycling centre. Followed your guide to the end and after the credits and during the flowchart, both trophies popped for me.
Cozza says
Btw when you want Marcus to die in the freedom march Simon can also sacrifice himself for you. you have to make sure Simon does not survive in Public Enemy. I got the ending “Simon Gave his life to save Markus
SoftVanilla35 says
I sacrificed Jerry at the end, but I got a trophy Survivors.
Jerry doesn’t need to be survived.
PowerPyx says
Nice one, very good to know!!!
Free says
During the Freedom march, I defeated the police. Can I still have all the survivors at the end? You mentioned this will cause trouble at the Canadian border.
PowerPyx says
It depends on your overall public opinion in the end. If other than that you always picked the peaceful options and public opinion is supportive in the end then the border patrol may still let you through. Can’t say for sure though, personally I didn’t attack the police on Survivors playthrough (worst case: you have to replay the last few chapters).
FierrcViper 82 says
Dunno if there’s an issue with psn but I did what it says in the trophy guide for Know your partner a shelter trophies didn’t unlock ?
BodyChipper says
I don’t know if this was mentioned specifically or by anyone else, but when following the outline, I didn’t necessarily have to finish the chapter or chapter ending cutscene and go to the flowchart to get a “this or that” trophy to pop. Pretty much as soon as you complete the action (save hank/chase rupert, push leo/ignore him, etc) you can simply quit to main menu and the trophy should pop, assuming you completed any necessary actions to that point. Of course you don’t see all of the possibilities and cutscenes play out if you quit before the chapter ends, but it might save time for some of those who are just trying to get the trophies out of the way and then maybe take their time on a second playthrough while not having to worry about them.
Toximous says
Chapter: Interrogation
During my play through Triangle is Fear and Circle is [Show Photos].
Either you guys missed something or you have it mislabeled.
Lujs says
I got the “Survivors” trophy, without saving Jerry.
In the Battle for Detroit chapter, I sacrificed Jerry to escape from the recycling center and got the “Survivors” trophy.
Silva says
I was just wondering, I’m going for the I’ll be back trophy for Conner. And I’m following the guide for it, but during the chase with Kara. I forgot to change difficulty and Kara survived the 2nd crossing over the highway. Conner died after he went over. But since I wanted to shorten the story and Kara lived. I finished the chapter, went back to the main menu, and went back to the chapter again, but this time I changed the difficulty and both Kara and Conner mk3 died.
So my question is, do I still need to start a new story or can I just continue on?
PowerPyx says
You did everything correctly and can continue, no worries! No need to start new story.
Anonymous says
No matter what I do, Josh dies in the battle against the army near the very end, just after North is talking about the enemy outnumbering them. No idea why, guessing I don’t have enough “points” with him despite following the guide. Probably the biggest issue was the guide first said to pick the rebellion near the end (Markus’ crew fights against the whole army) and then the next trophy mentioned you need full positive public influence, which, if I’m thinking correctly, requires basically a whole extra playthrough as you have to start it all the way back at the halfway point of the game. The guide does not lead you down that path whatsoever. I could be wrong and I might be able to just replay from the choice to pick rebellion vs peaceful demonstration in the church-ish area where all the Jericho people are gathered *crosses fingers*
Also, you might want to add that you should have Kara/Alice fake dead and not move during the final bit in the crossroads chapter otherwise Luther will die.
I loved your guide, but I would recommend giving it another look over to spot potential issues that would cause huge chunks of replay (such as mentioned above), and re-edit it so that people don’t have to jump around for the trophies starting at the midway point. There is going to be a lot of figuring out what to do on my partial playthroughs that’s not very clear. Especially if I have to replay half the game again just to get Josh to survive. Either way, thanks for the effort you put into this, it helped out a lot.
Anonymous says
To add to the above, Simon dies shortly after too. It must be something where to get survivor you cannot pick the “revolution” option in the church. So the guide should sway the player to probably get higher public influence throughout (no real mention of it), and then on initial playthrough, pick the “peaceful demonstration” ending path. Then replay for the revolution path. I could be wrong but I followed it to a T and outside of this bit, I was on track.
PowerPyx says
I always say to do the peaceful thing. This is pointed out in the red text for the various trophies along the way to tell players what action to keep for their main save. This is further pointed out in the Survivors trophy. Let me know specifically the text in question that confuses you or where a note should be added (under what trophy / what part of the guide) and I’ll gladly add it in.
Do keep in mind, the Survivors trophy is Step 2 anyway. I am giving instructions throughout the guide when a bronze trophy impacts it. However, ultimately that’s what the Survivors trophy description is for and there’s also a complete Survivors walkthrough linked if ever in doubt about a decision.
At the end you must choose the peaceful demonstration as pointed out in the Survivors trophy. Since there are so many endings you will have to replay the last 3 chapters a bunch of times anyway so how you play the ending on the first playthrough is of no consequence and won’t cost you time. (and yes Josh dies when doing the violent revolution — I will make additional notes for “LIBERATION” to make it clearer).
The part about Kara is in the Survivors trophy and Survivors walkthrough. Let me know if you see any text parts specifically that confuse you and I’ll give it another look. On that note though, it is a complex decision-based game where small choices can have big impacts, that’s why Survivors is Step 2 in the roadmap and just a suggestion (not an expectation) in the first ending.
Anonymous says
I guess what I was getting at moreso was that you should just go for survivor playthrough on your first playthrough, unless I’m mising something. The guide says to follow it from top to bottom, but if you do, you would have not dispersed during freedom march / went with revolution instead of demonstration. I could be wrong, but if you go for survivor first, you will minimize the amount of cleanup you have to do since you can just do revolution upon cleanup instead of having to play all the way back from freedom march. You know this game better than I do so I trust your word over mine, just thoughts I had. I think where I got confused was that you said you needed max public affinity but you can most likely still shoot the guy in the radio tower calling for the alarm as I had “indifferent” opinion come freedom march following the guide and shooting him. I’m also wondering if you should let Kara/Alice get caught to knock out that trophy on the same playthrough – although maybe this does void survivor.
PowerPyx says
I see what you mean.
Because of all those reason it’s why I recommend the partial cleanup in Step 2. It does get very complex and confusing at the end.
Of course one could also switch things around and only concentrate on survivors run first and then clean up trophies.
Mania112 says
I think the only way to complete Survivors is to have the ending connected to the moral victory trophy?
Any other route and Josh dies.
Mania112 says
…which means, if you’ve followed the guide on the first playthrough, backtracking to freedom march and choosing disperse.
PowerPyx says
Yes, you are correct about Moral Victory being required (Step 2 in Roadmap).
ImAPirateSoSueMe says
Wouldn’t “A smile on her face” be unmissable since that chapter always ends the same way?
Or is it classed as missable because Kara can apparently die when escaping the police?
PowerPyx says
I classified it as missable because Kara can die at multiple points leading up to this chapter.
Within the chapter it is not missable, but getting to the chapter (surviving this long) is missable.
Alice says
Thank you for this guide, I have a question though. During Last Chance, I can’t seem to make Connor die no matter what I do, because if I collect the evidence to locate Jericho, the FBI Agent will come in the room only after I’ve left. What can I do? I need to get the “I’ll be back” trophy :/
PowerPyx says
Hmmm… before you went to the evidence archive did you talk to the guy who walks after you or did you ‘say nothing’?
Have the prisoner distract the FBI guy by opening the cell. Then as you talk downstairs to the archive one FBI guy comes after you. Choose “Say Nothing” and leave.
Let me know if that solves it.
Alice says
Yes, it worked! Thank you so much, I finally got the trophy. 🙂
Just a few more things, maybe you want to add these to your guide or they might be useful to someone:
– If you save Simon during the Transmission Tower chapter (and Markus is friends with him), Markus won’t die during the march chapter, because Simon will stand in the way and sacrifice himself instead.
– I wasn’t able to kill or make Markus die until the very end, when Connor shoots him during his speech. I’ve tried to not press any button when the police/FBI attacks the group of androids manifesting peacefully, but it only resulted in North sacrificing herself for Markus. So of course the whole part where I had to shoot North because she was the only survivor, never took place.
Thanks again for this super useful guide. 🙂
Cozza says
How do you stop Simon sacrificing himself for marcus in the freedom march chapter so you cam kill marcus of early in the ill be back trophy?
Silva says
You can either not let Simon be so friendly towards Marcus, but doing actions that Simon doesn’t like. Or you could (what I did) just let him get shot during the Broadcast chapter.
Sandro says
Takethe android when u go get the android parts and when u sacrifice He will replace you!
Dyniner says
Great guide, just one question. Do you have to spend 20,000 on extras in one go for the Trophy or you can spend the points a bit at a time as you earn them?
anon says
Is it possible to get the “I’ll be back” trophy while also preventing hank from committing suicide?
Acido says
I’m not sure what’s going on for my I’ll be back play-through. I followed the guide exactly, had Connor die at every point it says, and yet the trophy does not unlock.
Checked the graves on the Last chance Connor level just to make sure, there’s 6 tombstones. I then proceed to die later on in the same level down in the evidence room, die again on Crossroads by getting shot by the cop, dying by the swat team in Battle for Detroit and finally dying by getting shot by North in Battle for Detroit.
That’s 10 deaths and yet after watching the end credits it just goes back to the menu and no trophy pops up.
It’s the last trophy i need for platinum and no idea why it refuses to pop.
Acido says
Nevermind. Must have been a glitch in the game that it didn’t unlock the first time around. I replayed from Last chance Connor with saving on, doing the exact same choices and it popped after the Hank suicide/North speech cutscene.
Anonymous says
Ok yeah I’m fairly sure the optimal path for minimal backtracking is:
1. Survivor playthrough following pretty much the existing trophy guide in order, always picking peaceful options (key ones are disband the march and demonstration, you can shoot the alarm guy in the radio tower)
2. Clean up any easy trophies you can get towards the end (such as Conor getting taken over)
3. Partial playthrough to get Alice/Kara captured, and then do the rebellion to save them
4. Partial playthrough to get Alice/Kara to sleep in the car up to the mansion (where you meet luther) for the one magazine
5. Conor death playthrough, and make sure to push the painter’s son for the last magazine along the way in the police station
Chris Jenkins says
After Hank and Connor were taken off the case, Connor was immediately deactivated and I’m now at the final rally with Markus and still no sign of Connor! Have I truly killed Connor off and ruined my everyone lives trophy?
Chris Jenkins says
Just confirmed that connors deactivation does confirm Connor as permanently dead and voids the everybody lives trophy
PowerPyx says
Thank you, I will add that in!
aaron says
Justa heads up for the trophy “I’ll be back” Simon will give his life for you in the March if you sacrifice yourself. So you need to kill him off in Public Enemy before hand.
Peanutbleu says
For the trophy i’ll be back, if you want to kill Markus with him sacrifying you need to have simon not with you otherwise he will sacrifice himself and markus will leave even though he is shot.
For the trophy when you have kara and alice escaping the camp, if markus wins the revolution you don’t need to escape. They will both survive because they will stop the machines that kill the android in time. And the trophy will pop. (And if luther is here the trophy family pops as well).
Peanutbleu says
And to confirm what you said i had the trophy i’ll be back after the 8th death. Markus was alive but i met a policeman so i fought and died so i didn’t have to meet markus. And the trophy popped before the 9th and 10th death.
And thank you very much for your guide it is a great one.
anon says
I’m only missing the 41st magazine and the “i’ll be back” trophy. Can i get them both at the same time? Does that require me to keep Kara alive at least until i get to Zlatko’s place?
@SirUlrichVL says
You would have to keep Kara alive till Zlatko to get the Magazine, of course once you’ve got the magazine, you could kill her during that chapter to speed up the rest of the game and still go on about your business killing Connor as much as possible :D
ChopSuey says
Just to add, I did a first run without guides, I killed Leo and the Tracy androids. On my second run I started following this guide (to save all people) and even when I changed options to endure Leo and save the Tracy girls they were in the police basement and Carl was alive. I checked my options in the flowchart and it says I did the correct path. A glitch, maybe?
Shafique says
Just wanted to say, if you are going for survivors trophy and have been following the guide, you can just go back to crossroads and play from there. I let Cara get caught at the end and combined this with the escape from recycle facility and the moral trophy. As long as you have a peaceful protest with Marcus and North is your lover, you can get enough public support. That’s even if you killed the police in the peace march. Also, I got Jerry to help me escape the recycle facility and still got survivors trophy. I can therefore confirm you only have to go back to mid crossroads chapter to get survivors trophy. Also not sure if Jerry is mandatory.
Joel says
I knew that I was digging through these comments for a reason. This is the info that I needed. Thank you!
Shafique says
Also, can I add, if you are mopping up on trophies, you don’t have to finish chapter for them to pop. As soon as you have met a trophies requirement just quit to main menu and it should pop.
Moe says
I have a problem with the trophy “ESCAPE DEATH”. I cannot check the fence after switching the line to Alice. Kara and Alice always immediately step forward into the container and I cannot do anything. I spoke with the Sacrifice Scarred Android before and see him a the fence behind, but that does not help. Any ideas, what I am doing wrong?
Moe says
Ok, I got the trophy. I replayed the chapter and this time I chose to move the killed android at the beginning of the chapter which I did not do the first time. Now I could check the fence and let the scarred android distract the guards. I don’t know if that was a bug or if it is really neccesary to do this.
Montaha says
Thank you so much for the guide!
About the “Mission Complete” trophy, it works with killing North as well.
I let Markus die in the Crossroads chapter to make things faster because I was mainly hunting one of Kara’s trophies and at the very end Connor approached North when she was wounded and I chose (kill) and took her life then I got both Kara’s trophy (the one I was hunting) and Mission complete trophy. Keep in mind that I did the exact same steps you did except that I killed Markus in Crossroads.
Snake2410 says
For the Liberation trophy you should probably add that in the Revolution camp assault section with the heavy mounted machine gun you need to order the three groups in this exact way or you will fail the assault: from right to left order charge, charge, and cover.
I failed it several times because that was the one combination I hadn’t tried because North died if you sent her unit to charge. If you do it in this order North survives even though you tell her to charge.
brooke says
the freedom march you need to kill simon in the tower before you jump off the roof otherwise simon will sacrifice himself to save markus…had to replay from the tower again to make sure that didn’t happen.
@SirUlrichVL says
You sure you didn’t get the trophy in the first place?
If you accept John from ‘Spare Parts’ into your group and he survives that chapter, when you pick the ‘Sacrifice’ option, he steps in like Simon would do if John wasn’t in the group.
I got the trophy via this method and thus Markus remained alive.
Thinaran says
STAND YOUR GROUND trophy: If you chose to take John (the guard android you meet in the Spare Parts chapter) with you, you can Stand your ground->Stand your ground->Sacrifice yourself and John will intervene and Markus will survive and SURVIVORS won’t be voided.
If you didn’t take John and Simon is alive, he will sacrifice himself instead (might require a certain reputation with him?). This is obviously bad for SURVIVORS.
Thinaran says
To add to the previous post, every time the police fires at you the public support goes up, and Sacrifice boosts it bigly.
Ates says
For another Connor for “I’ll Be Back” also in Battle for Detroit if you picked Revolution and after you die on the rooftop (death #9 as of now) you will show up and fight Marcus (you get to pick to control Marcus or Connor) win as Marcus (or other way around if you want) and get killed.
Was able to get my 8th death this was because I missed out on the On the Run and the ast Chance, Connon.
Vincent says
Hi Powerpyx I got trigger another type of outcome when trigger the “stand your ground” trophy.
If you decided to let John (the warehouse guard) join you in earlier scene. When you try to sacrifice you during the freedom march, John will come out sacrifice to save you.
It was totally unexpected scene.
Rui says
Thank you for the guide!
For “Mission Complete”, I actually got it with Connor staying a machine and killing Marcus at the end of the Revolution path (where you have to choose between controlling Marcus or Connor). Killing Marcus as Connor there also counts as “killing the deviant leader”. Might want to add it so people don’t have to redo a whole playthrough if they were in a “Machine Connor” path 🙂 My first playthrough was Deviant Connor and I realised too late I forgot about this trophy and I was just dreading to redo nearly the entire game to make him a deviant. Glad that it all worked out in the end.
6bL1 says
Thank you very much.
This would be my first platinum.
Love you Powerpyx
HeavyCaliber says
How do you get the location to Jericho and still get killed by Gavin? After I trick the Tracy, Conner just leaves…
@SirUlrichVL says
HeavyCaliber you must have chosen to talk to Gavin when he stops you upstairs and picked the ‘Calm’ option. Picking that one means Gavin isn’t suspicious of you and so doesn’t come down once you have found the location.
Hossam says
So, I finished the game once.
Should I play again to complete the chapters walkthrough to took the trophies? or it’s ok to play chapter by chapter?
Thanks for everything

Kara can die on highway on easy difficulty as well. I just did not push any buttons and both she and Alice dies.

SOMEONE MUST KNOW, I KEEP RESTARTING THE LAST CHAPTER BUT STILL NO OPTION FOR KISSING NORTH COMES ONLY THOSE 2 OPTIONS, WHERE AM I GOING WRONG PLEASE?
PowerPyx says
You need to be lovers with North (gained her affection, be nice to her).
@SirUlrichVL says
Sing should work whether you are lovers or not IF the public opinion is Supportive. Both Sing and Kiss are the only ways to survive as long as the public opinion is supportive.
If the Public Opinion is anything else it won’t matter what choice you pick you’ll end up dead.
Donovan says
I fought the police during the initial march and was still able to earn the Survivors trophy. So there is a little room for error there. FYI great guide as usual! Thanks.
FierceViper 82 says
Wouldn’t it be better too do magazine mop up after finishing the game the 1st time.Wouldnt starting a new story mess them up ?
PowerPyx says
They stay saved in the Extras Menu.
It’s best to do them along the way because otherwise you must replay every chapter. They also change depending on choices you made so grab everything that spawns to reduce replays.

who is jerry and does he appear before battle for detroit? also how do u get luther to stsy with marcus n not go with kara to border?

how do u get luther to stay with marcus n not go to the border with kara?

Thought you might want to update this.
This is in Connor’s 10 death section:
Quote “8) Crossroads (Kara & Markus dead): Connor stays a machine. He then goes after North (the female android leader). On his way he gets stopped by a policeman. Pick dialogue FIGHT and lose the fight. Then he shoots Connor in the head.”
The circle that you have fight listed, actually says Attack.
Thanks for the guide PowerPyx. Keep up the great site and channel.
PowerPyx says
It was circle for me but I have heard that many choices have different symbols for other players. I’ll remove the button prompt there completely. Thanks for the info!

thank you so much powerpyx, it worked cheers

If Connor dies at every opportunity”I’ll be Back trophy”, Is that mean I should replay the game for “SURVIVORS trophy” ?
PowerPyx says
Yes
trignitatres says
For MISSION COMPLETE, Connor doesn’t have to be a deviant. If he stayed a machine, and walked away from his vantage point after Hank confronts him on the roof, he will be standing in the crowd when Marcus is giving his speech. Pick the ‘DON’T SHOOT’ option and let him get hacked.
I was replaying last chapters, starting with ‘CROSSROADS’ for Connor’s COMPLIANT and Kara’s ESCAPE DEATH, and MISSION COMPLETE popped as well.
Hossam says
I discovered all 46 Magazines but I didn’t received “BOOKWORM” Trophy!
Is that mean I missed some Pages ?
Hossam says
Also I tried to replay the chapters for “HAPPY FAMILY” and “SAFE HARBOR” Trophies by saving “Kara, Alice and Luther”, but NO trophies Earned!!
PowerPyx says
You can check your progress in the bonus menu. Are all 46 there?
If yes then the trophy must have glitched out. If not, then you must get the missing ones again.
Hossam says
Yes I’m sure about the 46 Magazines. 🙁
but what about “HAPPY FAMILY” and “SAFE HARBOR” Trophies? I replayed the chapters for them but no trophies 🙁
PowerPyx says
Sounds like your game install is glitchy.
You can try reinstalling the game, it can help fix errors in the trophy set install.
Hossam says
Yes it was a language glitch.
I was play using Arabic language but I change it to English and it works!
anyway, 3 more trophies and 1 full gameplay until I got the Plat :D

ReneRivera19 says
You will have the option to climb or attack the guards in Markus crossroads chapter and it will be prerestruced and if you attack, you will be damaged and unable to save North for the “SURIVORS” trophy.
Rayne says
For -I’ll Be Back- I know you can’t skip chapters but could you select the very first checkpoint in the very first chapter via chapter select and go through the entire game like that, instead of having to select NEW STORY? Since it’s going to be my second and last whole playthrough I don’t really want to leave all my saved checkpoints as bad ones but I suppose it’s the same thing. What does NEW STORY do, does it erase all of your progress / checkpoints / flowcharts or just update them?
phantomfear9494 says
I did a run following the guide with 41/49 trophies and no mistakes at all. The guide is superb, but the game is so interconnected and nuanced that any slight deviation from what PP says may end you with different circumstances.
For those looking for optimum efficiency, you might want to follow this “roadmap”. Follow this order and refer to PP’s guides to complete the trophy, then move on. Although the trophy list is somewhat in order, it gets confusing towards the end as QD put it a bit out of order.
This completes almost everything non-hostile related. In red, I tell you when to save (or not, in one circumstance), and critical things you must do. This isn’t to overlook PP, just to help with clarity! Thanks.
****My Full Playthrough w/ Survivor, Partners, Happy Family, Undefeated (if you never lose a fight), nearly all missable trophies and all non-decision related collectibles****
1. Thank You (Bronze) – Play the First Chapter (Unmissable) (The Hostage)
2. Mission Accomplish (Bronze) – Save Emma (The Hostage)
3. Secrets (Bronze) – Kara discovered the content of Alice’s Box (A New Home)
4. Deviant Located (Bronze) – Connor found the deviant in the attic (Partners)
5. We are Free (Bronze) – Kara and Alice escaped Todd’s House (Stormy Night)
6. Defend Yourself (Bronze) – Markus Pushed Leo (Broken)
QUIT OUT AND REPLAY THE FINAL CHECKPOINT AFTER RECEIVING THE ABOVE TROPHY. TURN ON SAVE FEATURE, THIS WILL OVERWRITE EVERYTHING TO YOUR BENEFIT.
7. Self-Control (Bronze) – Markus let Leo Win (Broken)
8. Confession (Bronze) – Connor Made the Android Confess (The Interrogation)
9. Shelter (Bronze) – Kara and Alice Slept in the Motel/Squat (Fugitives)
10. Know Your Partner (Bronze) – Connor found all the clues about Hank (Waiting for Hank)
11. Run Kara Run (Bronze) – Kara and Alice Escaped the Police (On the Run)
12. Catch It (Bronze) – Connor Caught Rupert (The Nest)
QUIT OUT AND REPLAY THE FINAL CHECKPOINT AFTER RECEIVING THE ABOVE TROPHY. TURN ON SAVE FEATURE, THIS WILL OVERWRITE EVERYTHING TO YOUR BENEFIT.
13. Save Hank (Bronze) – Connor Saved Hank (The Nest)
14. Escape the Manor (Bronze) – Kara and Alice Escaped Zlatko’s House (Zlatko)
15. Jericho’s Hero (Bronze) – Markus Got Enough Parts (Spare Parts)
16.
MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE GUIDE AND LET JOHN COME WITH YOU. THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT IF YOU WANT TO MAX OUT PUBLIC OPINION MORE EASILY AND HAVE 1 LESS RELOAD DURING FREEDOM MARCH WHILST NOT COMPRIMISING SURVIVOR. IT ALSO GREALTY IMPROVES YOUR STANDING WITH JERICHO!
17. Ruthless (Bronze) – The Tracis Were Killed (The Eden Club)
QUIT OUT AND REPLAY THE FINAL CHECKPOINT AFTER RECEIVING THE ABOVE TROPHY. TURN ON SAVE FEATURE, THIS WILL OVERWRITE EVERYTHING TO YOUR BENEFIT.
18. Doubts (Bronze) – The Tracis Escaped (The Eden Club)
19. A Smile on Her Face (Bronze)– Alice Enjoyed the Merry-Go-Round (Unmissable, but only if she is alive) (The Pirate’s Cove)
20. A Glimpse of Jericho (Bronze) – Connor Connected to Simon (The Stratford Tower AND Public Enemy)
QUIT OUT AND REPLAY THE TOP FLOOR CHECKPOINT IN “THE STRATFORD TOWER” AFTER RECEIVING THE ABOVE TROPHY. TURN ON SAVE FEATURE, THIS WILL OVERWRITE EVERYTHING TO YOUR BENEFIT.
21. When A Plan Comes Together (Bronze) – Broadcast Without Alarm (The Stratford Tower AND Public Enemy)
VERY IMPORTANT CHAPTER. EVERYTHING UP TO THE TOP FLOOR CHECKPOINT IN STRATFORD TOWER WILL BE APPROPRIATE IF YOU ARE FOLLOWING THE 100% FLOWCHART GUIDE.
WHEN YOU GO UP THE ELEVATOR TO THE BROADCAST ROOM, PICK RUSE (IMPORTANT, SIMON WILL LIKELY DIE OTHERWISE) AND TAKE OUT THE HUMAN RUNNING TO TRIGGER THE ALARM. Y
OU WILL BECOME “HATED” BY THE PUBLIC, BUT AS LONG AS YOU ARE PEACEFUL AFTER THAT YOU’LL BE “SUPPORTED” BY THE END, DON’T WORRY LIKE I DID! THIS SHOULD BE YOUR ONLY NON-PEACEFUL ACTION.
WHEN YOU ARE CONNOR, BE 100% SURE TO GO TO THE KITCHEN AND CHECK THE DEVIANT, IF YOU DON’T DO THIS (I THINK) IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO GET CONNOR TO THE END.
22. Nothing to See Here (Bronze) – Kara Got Rid of the Cops (Midnight Train)
23. Send a Message (Bronze) – Markus Conducted a Peaceful Riot (Capitol Park)
QUIT OUT AND REPLAY THE FINAL CHECKPOINT AFTER RECEIVING THE ABOVE TROPHY. TURN OFF SAVE FEATURE THIS TIME. WE DO NOT (I REPEAT DO NOT) WANT TO OVERWRITE THIS.
YOU COULD DO BURN THE PLACE FIRST, THEN DO A PEACEFUL RIOT WHILST ENABLING SAVE FEATURE, BUT IT’S NOT WHAT I DID.
24. Burn the Place (Bronze) – Markus Conducted a Violent Riot (Capitol Park)
RELOAD NORMAL SAVE (IE PRESS CONTINUE, IT SHOULDN’T HAVE OVERWRITTEN ANYTHING IF SAVE FEATURE WAS OFF.) IF YOU DID THIS FIRST, JUST PLAY SEND A MESSAGE THEN CONTINUE.
25. Priorities (Bronze) – Connor Killed Chloe (Meet Kamski)
QUIT OUT AND REPLAY FINAL CHECKPOINT AFTER RECEIVING THE ABOVE TROPHY. TURN ON SAVE FEATURE, THIS WILL OVERWRITE EVERYTHING TO YOUR BENEFIT.
26. Kinship (Bronze) – Connor Refused to Kill Chloe (Meet Kamski)
27. Confrontation (Bronze) – Connor Attacked the Police (Freedom March)
QUIT OUT AND REPLAY THE FINAL CHECKPOINT AFTER RECEIVING THE ABOVE TROPHY. TURN ON SAVE FEATURE, THIS WILL OVERWRITE EVERYTHING TO YOUR BENEFIT.
28. Stand Your Ground – Markus Stood His Ground Against the Police (Freedom March)
POWERPYX’S GUIDE SAYS YOU MUST RELOAD ONCE MORE AND SELECT DISPERSE. IN MOST CIRCUMSTANCES, THIS WILL ALLOW YOU TO CONTINUE WITH NO IMPACT TO PUBLIC OPINION OR SURVIVOR,
HOWEVER, IF YOU SAVED JOHN IN SPARE PARTS HE WILL SACRIFICE HIMSELF FOR YOU. YOU’LL GET SHOT, BUT WON’T DIE. HE’LL DIE, BUT FOR WHATEVER REASON HE DOESN’T COUNT FOR THE SURVIVOR TROPHY SO THIS IS A-OK.
THIS IS BENEFICIAL AS YOU DON’T HAVE TO RELOAD AGAIN AND PUBLIC OPINION FOR ME WAS “EMPATHETIC” (ONE OFF MAX) AT THIS POINT, WHICH IS HIGHER THAN DISPERSING.
IF YOU DIDN’T GET JOHN TO FOLLOW YOU FOR WHATEVER REASON, THEN YOU’LL HAVE TO SELECT DISPERSE LIKE PP SUGGESTS
29. Bloodhound (Bronze) – Connor got the location of Jericho by Himself (Last Chance Connor)
30. Three at Jericho (Bronze) – All 3 Characters Survive Until Crossroads (Crossroads)
31. One of Us (Bronze) – Connor Becomes Deviant (Crossroads)
32. Scorched Earth (Bronze) – Markus/Connor Detonated the Freighter (Crossroads)
IN CROSSROADS, AS CONNOR, BECOME DEVIANT.
AS MARKUS, SUCCEED EVERY QTE POSSIBLE AS MARCUS TO SAVE JOSH FOR SURVIVOR AND OTHER ANDROIDS TO IMPROVING ONE’S STANDING WITH JERICHO. WHEN YOU ENOUNTER NORTH YOU MUST SAVE HER FOR SURVIVOR, SHE’LL GET SHOT, BUT WILL LIVE.
AS KARA, SAVE LUTHER WHEN HE GETS SHOT, PLAY DEAD AND DO NOTHING AT THE VERY END. IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP EVERYONE ALIVE WITHOUT THIS
IN BETWEEN CROSSROADS AND BATTLE FOR DETROIT IS NIGHT OF THE SOUL. THIS IS SHORT IF YOU’RE RELATIONSHIP WITH HANK IS GOOD, BUT BE 100% CERTAIN TO CHOOSE DEMONSTRATION. THIS MAKES PUBLIC OPINION OF YOU DESTINED TO BE “SUPPORTIVE”, WHICH IS CRITICAL FOR THE BELOW TROPHY
33. An Army of Me (Bronze) – Connor Converted the Androids (Battle for Detroit)
34. Safe Harbor (Bronze) – Kara and Alice Passed the Border (Battle for Detroit)
POWERPYX’S GUIDE AT TIME OF WRITING SAYS THAT YOU MUST SACRIFICE JERRY TO GET THROUGH THE BORDER. AGAIN, THIS IS VERY MUCH CORRECT IN MOST INSTANCES. HOWEVER, IF YOU HAVE “SUPPORTIVE” PUBLIC OPINION, SELECT DO NOT SACRIFICE ANYONE. KARA WILL PLEA WITH THE CANADIAN BORDER CONTROL TO LET HER THROUGH, HE’LL GLANCE AT THE TV DURING A PEACEFUL PROTEST, AND IF SUPPORTIVE WILL LET YOU THROUGH WITH LUTHER, ALICE AND JERRY ALL ALIVE. I DON’T KNOW IF SYMPATHETIC IS ENOUGH, BUT YOU SHOULD BE SUPPORTIVE IF YOU ARE PEACEFUL IN EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE BUT SHOOTING THE GUARD IN STRATFORD TOWER!
35. Happy Family (Silver) – Kara, Alice and Luther Survive Until End (Battle of Detroit)
36. Moral Victory (Bronze) – Markus Got Soliders to Stand Back (Battle for Detroit)
PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION, PASS ALL QTE’S QHEN ATTACKED, KISS NORTH (IF LOVERS) OR SING (IF NOT). IF PUBLIC OPINION IS “SUPPORTIVE”, SOLIDERS WILL STAND DOWN.
37. My Turn to Decide (Bronze) – Resist being hacked at the end (Battle for Detroit)
VERY END OF THE GAME. PRESS R2 TO REVEAL THE NODE YOU MUST GET TO, AND PASS THE QTE’S.
38. Partners (Silver) – Hanks and Connor Were Friends Until End (Automatic if you were friends with Hank the whole way. The way PP and this roadmap gets you to do hostile trophies first and overwrite them with positive/peaceful ones means that your relationship with hank you always be positive. “Friend” is the max level. Completing “An Army of Me” solidifies this)
39. Undefeated (Silver) – Never Lose a Fight (Automatic if you didn’t lose a fight. As PP says, do this on beginner, the QTE’s are a doddle and forgiving even then.)
40. Survivors (Gold) – Everyone is Alive at the End (Automatic if you follow PP’s guide via this roadmap).
41. This is My Story (Gold) – Complete the Game Once (Automatic)
42. These Are Our Stories (Gold) – Spend 20,000 Bonus Points (You should have enough points. I had over 23,000. If you don’t, you definately will after mop-ups and the I’ll Be Back playthrough).
****Step 2 – Conflicting Missable Trophy Mop-Up (Post-Crossroads) (Stage I’m at Now)****
42. Mission Complete (Bronze) – Connor Killed Markus (Battle for Detroit) (To my knowledge, this can be grabbed simply by reloading the final checkpoint of BfD. Just fail to respond to Amanda’s hacking attempt at the end. You’ll then kill Markus)
43. Escape Death (Bronze) – Kara and Alice Escaped the Recycling Centre (Crossroads)
(Battle for Detroit) (Let Kara and Alice get captured at the very end of Crossroads, and escape during BfD)
44. Liberation (Bronze) – Marcus Liberated the Androids (Night of the Soul) (Battle for Detroit) (Revolution option (hostile), successfully compelted in BfD)
45. Compliant (Bronze) – Connor Remains a Machine (Crossroads) (Just pick remain a machine in Crossroads, don’t become deviant.
Step 3 – Full Playthrough f/ I’ll be back + Just a Machine + Collectible mop-up
46. Just a Machine – Hank Killed Connor (Follow PP guide)
47. I’ll be Back – Die as Connor at Every Opportunity (Follow PP guide)
48. Bookworm – Collect all Magazines (Should only have 5-8 collectibles left; you’d be locked out by not completing certain choices. Check what you’ve got to do for what collectible, and mop that up)
49. DETROIT MASTER – Unlock all Trophies
NeverwinterMoon says
Nice addition to the existing guide, but you are wrong at least about one thing.
You say “AS KARA, SAVE LUTHER WHEN HE GETS SHOT, PLAY DEAD AND DO NOTHING AT THE VERY END. IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP EVERYONE ALIVE WITHOUT THIS”.
This is wrong and I just verified it. It’s possible to get the Survivors achievement by surrendering and then escaping the recall centre (but you need to have the Scarred Android freed during Zlatko).
This is how I got my Survivors.
James Kearle says
For anyone interested, you don’t have to wait until the flowchart to get missable trophies in the middle of missions if you’re mopping up. Once you’re done, wait for the next save/load icon in the top right (looks like the blue LED on androids), and you should be ok to quit out and get the trophy! This worked for 5 or 6 trophies where I had to do some different requirements because it contradicted with my peaceful playstyle (i.e. “Compliant” and “Escape Death”). I fiound the first oen by accident, but did it after a few mid-level ones and it worked every time.
On your original playthrough, I would recommend getting to the flowchart however, as you can’t checkpoint select in the menu until the chapter is over. I’d leave this for post-game clean-up.

Hi, Just wanna clarify why does the “The Interrogation” chapter is not showed though i already completed 100% walkthrough for Partners. I have no idea how can I get the trophy for The Interrogation chapter. Any advice? Thanks
PowerPyx says
That means you didn’t find the deviant in the murder house. Only if Connor catches him in the attic he can be interrogated.
Regardo says
Jerry is not important for the (SURVIVORS) trophy, i got the trophy even after choosing ( Sacrifice Jerry) at the canda border control.
So i don’t think jerry is important to be alive for the trophy.
matt says
the current trophy list on ps4 says there are two hidden trophies.
any ideas what they are?
Cavsky says

I am trying to take the “I’ll be back” trophy of the 8 deaths among which there is also the trophy “just a machine” but this last trophy didn’t pop to me despite being shot by Hank. Has anyone happened? I’m playing version 1.08 of this month’s PS plus.
Mike says
Can’t platinum this game as I can’t spend the bonus points. Everything is unlocked already. Apart from a few films.
I also messed up the killing Conner as I needed to change the difficulty to allow Kara to die. So don’t think that play counted.
Marunon says
Have a question. In the first mission with Connor you can sacrifice yourself to save the girl. Does it still count towards the kill trophy? Because… I mean Connor is dead. It should right? It wasn’t pointed out on your guide so I’m asking. Happened because I don’t investigated at all just ran outside
PowerPyx says
It doesn’t count for the trophy.
Alessandro says
Hi. I Am in the first playtrough. In the first mission i didn’t kill Daniel. I saved the girl and died with Daniel. Is it ok? Is It necessary for some trophy kill Daniel with the gun? Thanks.
John321 says
ESCAPE DEATH is NOT possible if you’re doing Revolution AND have Marcus win against Connor. I tried 3 times and failed. Marcus has to lose the battle. After 3 failed attempts I decided to play as Connor and have him win. Only then I was able to get back to Kara and view the fences.
Billy says
I need some help getting the ‘I’ll be back trophy’ I been closely following the guide. Markus, Lara and Alice are dead to save me time. But when I figured out the way to Jericho in last chance connor, the FBI guy didnt turn up so I didnt have the opportunity to get killed ans the game sort of fizzled out and ended.do i need to go back to another chapter and if so do I still get the trophy. This is proving to be a real grind
Tomatolollipop says
I have the same problem, what did you do to resolve it?
NoSnitch1n says
I think you need to choose “Ironic” to that one guy before entering the evidence room, he will point a gun at you, afterwards he will come back to fight 🙂
MelodicMizery says
after survivors i got the trophies
compliant
escape death
liberation
by doing this
i went back to the boat chapter and
didnt let connor become a deviant
did let kara get captured
did let markus attack
let connor die as much as possible. have hank disarm him on the rooftop,
control markus have markus rush forward and use the rocket, kill conner
kara saved at recycling bin by markus
i also disabled the save, not sure if that was a good idea or not but i didnt want my survivor ending tarnished
Hasan says
Please Help 🙁
I followed all the instructions. but I didn’t get the trophy I’ll be back with the connor I did every death a long way
Mark Keane says
For the trophy “ill be back” can you skip one of the deaths in the middle and use the death on the roof when conor has the sniper rifle count as your 8th one, will that count because thats what i did and no trophy?
KISSfan81 says
Bravo!! Much appreciated! Another platinum. Very cool game and as relevant as it’ll ever be.
Alex says
Just FYI – you can escape the camps with Kara, Alice, and Luther all being alive at the end, definitely worked for me. When you are in line next to Alice there is an option to sacrifice Luther. Look behind you and there will be damaged androids, one of which will offer to destract the guards. Choose her and climb out the fence to the right. Stop and shield Alice, fight guard, win and you’re free
Raymond Rix says
Oh this is frustrating, trying the ill be back trophy for the platinum. On last chance connor, I use the prisoner to distract, get the location of Jericho from the traci’s and boom chapter ends, no one comes in for a fight??? Am I missing something?
imde4th says
You have to add some tips to the I’ll be back trophy unlocked for Connor deaths. First, you can exit and reload the chapter if you mess up and don’t get killed in any occasion.
Second, in chapter last chance conner, you should pick the option ironic when talking to the police guy before entering the evidence room so he points his gun at you before letting you enter the evidence room. Only then he will show up in the evidence room and a fight happens between him and conner which you have to lose to get killed.
BstOutlw says
I got I’LL BE BACK trophy after the 8th death in CROSSROADS chapter, during the flowcharting, pressed X to continue to next chapter and right away when the next chapter starts – exit out to main menu – earned I’LL BE BACK TROPHY!!!
UGH only 3 trophies left for the platinum. Wish me luck.
Marcel says
You can get the key for Alice’s box without the “Seem quiet” interaction, just the “Name Kara” and “Interests” ones before leaving her alone gets you the key as well
Jay says
I’ve started my Connor dies play through and got to the fugitives chapter, but to get some the 1 magazine I need I chose to stay ay the motel, I was going to play to the zlatovs hoise to get my magazine and then I was going to go back to fugitive and stay in the abandoned house again but I’ve just thought won’t that mess up my playthrough?
NoSnitch1n says
Not sure if its mentioned or not but i think you can cut some time if you leave Simon on the roof in Stradford tower but then don’t go to the roof with connor he will come back eventually and the survivors trophy can still be unlocked, so you can go back from to connor in an unsaved game and find simon for the glimpse of jericho trophy, then just go on with the game 🙂
PieterDM1990 says
Can anyone help me? Right now I’m at the beginning of the chapter for trophy Confrontation but I forgot to do the trophy When A Plan Comes Together. I’ve been following up the guide till now, just missed that one. Should I replay from the chapter when they do the broadcast in the tower or can I just continue from where I am now and go for the When A Plan Comes Together trophy in my next playthrough?
