God of War – Helheim Collectible Locations

Helheim contains 16 Collectible Locations in God of War (2018, PS4). This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in Helheim Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.

Video Guide

#1 – Artefact 1/5 – 0:05
At the very start of Helheim, after you exit the Realm Travel room and leave Brok’s shop, when you go outside it’s in the right corner.

#2 – Legendary Chest 1/3 – 0:34
On the main story path, on the left side of the road.

#3 – Raven 1/6 – 0:56
Exact same spot as the legendary chest – right above it there’s a golden “ring”. When you stand at the last legendary chest and look up you can see the raven sitting on the golden ring.

#4 – Legendary Chest 2/3 (Green Energy Ball Puzzle / Winds of Hel) – 1:08
This is the trickiest one by far. In order to open this chest, you must carry a green energy ball with your Blades of Chaos from the end of the bridge to the start of Helheim (where you came from). The green energy ball is found at the end of the bridge. There are actually two of them, on a huge gate where the dead are crossing the bridge. But don’t confuse it with the green energy ball that’s at the very end of Helheim (where you fought a boss in the story). That’s not the one we want. The one we need is before you crawl under the ice tunnel / before you climb down the path on the left. For the green energy to be there you must have completed the Helheim area first. It’s on each of the giant gate doors, doesn’t matter which one you grab. Now you must put it in the “ball holders” along the way.

• The first is a door on the left (reveals red chest)
• The next is on the left of the bridge
• On the right side up ahead (bottom of a statue)
• Climb up the stairs on the right side to find the next holder hidden behind a statue on the right side of the road.
• On the back of the golden ring above you, further up the road (must run under the golden ring building, turn around and look up)
• On the left side of the road, hidden behind a wall of ice.
• Now circle around it to the other side (the very start of Helheim where you exited Brok’s shop). Grab the energy from this side. Then put it in the final ball holder by the stairs leading down, hidden behind some ice (still upstairs, when facing the Helheim entrance/exit gate it’s to the right).
• Go down the stairs, retrieve the ball of energy one last time, and put it in the door. Done! You get a cool runic attack for your troubles.

#5 – Raven 2/6 – 3:39
Go over the bridge where the dead are crossing and crawl under the icy cave at the end of the bridge. On the other side, climb up the broken stairs and look for red tree sap on the right. Have Atreus shoot it with electric arrows. Then you can find a raven behind the red sap.

#6 – Legendary Chest 3/3 -4:36
From the last raven / red tree sap, climb down the chain. Then on the left you can see some more red tree sap. Behind it is the last legendary chest (again Atreus must shoot it).

#7 – Artefact 2/5 – 5:00
From the last chest, climb down the wall. There’s only one way down, at the end of the area where the path ends. As soon as you’ve climb down, look above you. There are some vines on the icy wall below the bridge. They hold the artefact. Burn them with the chaos blades (:l2: + ).

#8 – Raven 3/6 – 5:34
From last artefact, follow the path, climb down where the two frozen people statues are. The raven is flying in circles around the abyss on the edge of the area, pretty well hidden. If you listen closely you can hear it making some metallic noise.

#9 – Raven 4/6 – 5:53
Same area, but this time climb up the wall on the side. The raven sits there on some ice.

#10 – Artefact 3/5 – 6:11
Still in same area. There is yet another wall you can climb up (only one left). It’s actually the path you took during the story, your first visit to Helheim. There are some more vines behind a pillar that have the artefact.

#11 – Hidden Chamber 1/1 – 6:39
Now we have to backtrack to “#5 – Raven 2/6”. Just backtrace your steps, go back the same way you came. In that area, the end of the bridge of Helheim (in front of where you fought the Troll boss of the region), there’s some red tree sap on the left side. It should be quite easy to see. Have Atreus shoot it with electric arrows. Then walk through it. This counts as a hidden chamber and unlike others doesn’t require you to break a seal.

#12 – Artefact 4/5 – 7:30
In the hidden chamber, on the right side of the entrance.

#13 – Raven 5/6 – 7:39
In the hidden chamber, looking right at you when you enter.

#14 – Mystic Gateway 1/1 – 7:50
In the hidden chamber (bottom floor).

#15 – Raven 6/6 – 8:22
In the hidden chamber (bottom floor). It’s overlooking the area with the mystic gate, up the stairs, before the Valkyrie boss room.

#16 – Artefact 5/5 – 8:34
In the hidden chamber (bottom floor). To the left of the last raven, hidden behind a torch up the stairs.

#17 – Valkyrie 1/1 – 8:50
In the hidden chamber, in the final room.
