God of War – Veithurgard Collectible Locations

Veithurgard contains 21 Collectible Locations in God of War (2018, PS4). This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in Veithurgard Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.

Fully exploring Veithurgard (finding all collectibles) also unlocks the trophy “Death Happened Here”.

Video Guide

To access Veithurgard you must first turn the big wheel in Stone Falls Region. Just follow the chains connected to the gate. The wheel is at the top of Stone Falls, next to a Wayward Spirit.

#1 – Lore Marker 1/6 – 0:05
On your path into Veithurgard, next to Brok’s shop. In plain sight.

#2 – Shop 1/1 – 2:14
Unmissable when you enter Veithurgard.

#3 – Lore Marker 2/6 – 2:23
After the shop, squeeze through the wall and crawl under the next tunnel. Then there are two lore markers up ahead. The first on the right.

#4 – Lore Marker 3/6 – 3:21
Same area as the last, behind a corner on the right side.

#5 – Raven 1/3 – 3:38
Now we enter the main area of Veithurgard. You must advance by boat. Take the boat to the left-most corner where a Thor statue is on a small island (or was, in case you already destroyed the statue). The raven is flying in circles above the small island. It’s hard to hit, try to get to the highest point on the island to make it a bit easier.

#6 – Mystic Gateway 1/1 – 4:42
On the main island of Veithurgard, at the beach, impossible to miss.

#7 – Artefact 1/6 – 5:27
From the mystic gateway, turn right and pull the chain on the gate. Throw the axe to freeze it. Now you can climb up the mountain. On top you actually need to drop down to a platform below. There, behind a destructible wooden blockade, is the artefact.

#8 – Artefact 2/6 – 7:01
Drop back down to the main area. On the boat bridge is the next artefact.

#9 – Lore Marker 4/6 – 7:33
On the right side of the path that leads up the hill in the main area.

#10 – Raven 2/3 – 8:07
Go up the path where the dragon is. This raven is sitting behind the wooden planks under the dragon.

#11 – Artefact 3/6 – 8:42
To the left of the dragon, by a corpse behind some crates.

#12 – Artefact 4/6 – 8:57
Also to the left from the last artefact, on the broken bridge.

#13 – Nornir Chest 1/1 – 9:12
Climb up the wall on the right to find the Nornir chest. To open it you must find and destroy 3 rune seals. One is to the left of the chest. For the next you must go across a small wooden bridge, then stand where the dragon shrine is. From here you can aim at a stonehenge and see the rune sitting on top of the stonehenge. The third one is in the tunnel behind the Nornir Chest (which is the main path after passing the stonehenge area).

#14 – Raven 3/3 – 10:34
In the area with the massive gate that’s sealed by 4 rune symbols, on the left side.

#15 – Lore Marker 5/6 – 11:03
Only 2 meters from the raven, also left side from the big gate.

#16 – Jötnar Shrine 1/1 (Skadi) – 11:24
After opening the huge Veithurgard gate, it’s straight ahead. To open it you must put the runes in place (Left Top: “T”, Left Bottom: “R”, Right Top: “N”, Right Bottom: “F”).

#17 – Artefact 5/6 – 12:53
To the left of the Jotnar Shrine.

#18 – Artefact 6/6 – 13:11
After draining the water (must use the lever). Then it’s next to a corpse on the main path, you walk right into it.

#19 – Lore Marker 6/6 – 14:19
Impossible to not see, on the main path after draining the water.

#20 – Legendary Chest 1/1 – 14:42
Also impossible to miss, at the very end of Veithurgard, after beating the boss.

#21 – Favor 1/1 (Dragon: Otr’s Imprisonment) – 16:26
This is for freeing the dragon. There are 3 dragon shrines you must destroy. When you stand in front of the dragon (facing it), the first shrine is on the right up the hill, the second is when you turn around and go up the middle path, the third is across the broken bridge, you can reach it after you go through the big Veithurgard gate that requires the 4 runes to be opened.

That’s 100% of the collectibles you can find in Veithurgard area in God of War.
