Introduction
Welcome to the Remnant 2: The Forgotten Kingdom DLC Trophy Guide! The Forgotten Kingdom is the second DLC expansion in Remnant II and takes place in Yaesha. The DLC sheds light on the lore and secrets of the forgotten tribe of the forest biome of Yaesha. As opposed to the base game’s areas, the Forgotten Kingdom’s main hub is not procedurally generated and will always look the same. However, starting from the second time you go through the DLC, the side dungeons are randomized, including the legacy ones, aka those you would normally find in Yaesha. Depending on your luck, you can expect roughly 3-4 hours of new content, including an entirely new archetype, the Invoker.
To 100% the DLC list, all you have to do is play through the Forgotten Kingdom a minimum of three times. You can follow the suggested roadmap below for the most optimized path to 100% which combines multiple trophies in one run.
Step 1: Unlock Requiem of the Forgotten Kingdom, Thank You For Being a Friend, Master of Elements, Give First Piece of the Echo of the Forest Amulet to Dwell
For this step, focus on completing the DLC once. On your way to the boss, you must do several things:
- First, you must interact with Walt at every location you find him and exhaust all dialogs. This is important later on to unlock Thank You For Being a Friend.
- Second, you must collect the first piece of the Echo of the Forest amulet, which is instrumental to unlocking Triple Takeover in Step 3. This will always spawn in the same location. Check Triple Takeover.
- Third, you will eventually lower the spiral staircase in the Ancient Canopy main area. When you have, make your way to its very bottom to find a side path leading to a room full of sand with bolts shooting from its walls. Here you can obtain the engram Old Flute needed to unlock the Invoker archetype. Check Master of the Arts for further details.
- Once you’ve beaten the boss, return to Walt at Primal Hollow (he might be elsewhere depending on whether you got this location in your playthrough) and talk to him to obtain Thank You For Being a Friend.
- Now, return to Ward 13 and hand in the first piece of the Echo of the Forest amulet to Dwell (the faun selling and upgrading the mutators).
Step 2: The Burden Hardest to Bear and Second Piece of Echo of the Forest Amulet
During your first playthrough of the Forgotten Kingdom, you will most likely have encountered an NPC called the Emissary. He will have given you an amulet called Profane Soul Stone. You can now unlock The Burden Hardest to Bear. Check the related trophy description for more information. Once you have this trophy, you can get back to Adventure mode to collect the second piece of the Echo of the Forest amulet for Triple Takeover. Once you’ve obtained the second piece of the amulet, hand it to Dwell at Ward 13.
Step 3: Third Piece of Echo of the Forest Amulet and Triple Takeover
Once again, reroll the Forgotten Kingdom and collect the third and final piece of the Echo of the Forest amulet. Immediately after collecting it, get yourself killed and return to Ward 13 to hand it to Dwell. Now that all amulet pieces have been found, Dwell will put it together for you. For more information on how to obtain the Trinity Crossbow, check Triple Takeover.

Requiem of the Forgotten Kingdom Complete the Forgotten Kingdom Story |
||
Unmissable, story-related unlock. Halfway through the expansion, you will enter an area called Goddess’s Rest where you will make the acquaintance of Lydusa in her spirit form. Continue through the DLC and activate the five pillars in the area. Eventually, you will obtain a quest item called Cherished Fracture. Return it to Lydusa to turn her back into her humanoid form and this will initiate a boss fight. Complete the boss fight to end the DLC and unlock this trophy.
This trophy unlocks for both co-op partners. |

Thank You For Being a Friend Forge a Friendship |
||
As you play through the DLC area, you will come across a new NPC called Walt (blue icon on the map). Talk to him every time you meet him and exhaust his dialogs. After defeating Lydusa, warp back to the Primal Hollow crystal and make your way to Walt. Talk to him to receive the Feathery Binding ring and unlock this trophy. Due to the procedural design of the game, you may have not played through Primal Hollow, and Walt might be in a different location in your game. If that’s the case, keep warping back and forth across the main areas and check the map each time until you find a blue icon on your map.
The Burden Hardest to Bear Made a Difficult Choice |
||
For this trophy, you must first come across the side dungeon called Infested Abyss. At the end of the side dungeon, you’ll find an NPC called The Emissary. Talk to him and tell him that you want to serve under him. This will earn you the Profane Soul Stone quest item. Once obtained and you have collected a piece of the Echo of the Forest amulet, switch to Campaign mode and warp to the Inner Sanctum crystal. Equip the Profane Soul Stone and make your way up the stairs to talk to the Keeper, the giant eye ball. Make sure to redirect your camera so that the dialog prompt is on the eye, not Clementine. Do NOT give it to him when asked. Then, return to the Infested Abyss area in Adventure Mode, speak with the Emissary and give him the amulet. This will unlock the trophy.
This trophy unlocks for both co-op partners. |
||
Master of Elements Acquire the Invoker Archetype |
||
To unlock the Invoker archetype, you must find the Old Flute engram. To acquire it, you must come across the Ancient Canopy area. If you don’t find it in your Adventure, you must reroll. Once you’ve found it, continue through the main quest until the giant spiral staircase in the middle is lowered. Then, get to the very bottom of the staircase by climbing down the ladders and you’ll find a trap room full of sand with several bolts shooting out of the walls. Stand on the edge of the room and carefully make your way to the opposite right corner where you find two small dunes of sand. Stand still between them for roughly 5 minutes and you’ll be then teleported to the room where you can find the engram. Return the engram to Wallace at Ward 13 to unlock the Invoker archetype and this trophy.
Triple Takeover Acquire the Trinity Crossbow |
||
To acquire the Trinity Crossbow, you must first collect three different pieces of the Echo of the Forest amulet. You can find only one piece per reroll and they always spawn in random locations in the Luminous Vale main area. Once you find a piece, you must hand it to Dwell at Ward 13 (the faun NPC selling and upgrading mutators). Then, you must reroll the Forgotten Kingdom another two times to find the next two pieces. Once you’ve handed all pieces to Dwell, he will put them together for you and you will get the Echo of the Forest amulet. Equip the amulet and head back to the Glittering Grotto area in the Forgotten Kingdom. If it’s not in your permutation, reroll until you get it. Shortly after the start of the area, you can find a couple of ledges leading you to a waterfall. Jump through it to access a secret area. Continue down the ladders and head left to find a wall. Because you’ve got the amulet equipped, you will be able to access the area with the Trinity Crossbow. Collect it to unlock this trophy.
This trophy unlocks for both co-op partners. |

Just a note about the
Thank You For Being a Friend
If you are playing in Co-op you have to have each person interact with Walt over the duration of the story. Considering you have to play through the section 3 times anyway, it will unlock for the other co-op members this way for them.
For some reason it only unlocks for the person who interacted with him
For The Burden Hardest to Bear.
In Co-op this trophy unlocks in the Labyrinth after you give the Keeper the Amulet (you don’t have to go back to the Infested Abyss) unless you want to give him the amulet
if you are doing this in Co-op the other 2 players have to interact with the Keeper for the trophy to unlock for them
If you don’t want to reroll your campaign back up your save file first
