Dragon’s Dogma 2 The Nameless Village Walkthrough

The Nameless Village is a side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Nameless Village side mission.

• Starting Location: Vernworth
• Quest Giver: Brant
• Requirement: Complete Seat of the Sovran main quest, complete 1 other quest objective given by Brant, but must do it before Feast of Deception main quest.
• Reward: 1200 XP, 7500 G, Dragon’s Gaze
• Quest Description: Suspicions alone will not suffice if you are to expose the false Sovran. Venture to Vermund’s eastern edge and scour for evidence that will help you prove him a pretender.

Objectives:

1. Investigate the false Sovran and report to Brant

Starting Location: The Nameless Village

To start this quest. complete any one of the other objectives posed by Brant after Seat of the Sovran, then you will have a new conversation option “Tell me of the false Sovran.” which will start this side quest.

This quest becomes unavailable during Main Quest 10: Feast of Deception.

Investigate the false Sovran and report to Brant

Brant suggests you investigate The Nameless Village, which is as far east of Vernworth on the map. You will need to take the south route through the Eastern Forest early in the game if you want to reach it, as the marked road is blocked by rubble.

Once you reach the Namless Village there are two objectives, which give you two Thief abilities. For the first, go into the house on the north side of the first path where you can find the Folded Letter item.

You then want to walk all the way up to the Old Noble Manor building at the top of the hill and speak to the man inside. Make sure to select each dialogue option, including the final dialogue option noted with the yellow diamond “Ask about brass”.

Now with this done you are meant to investigate the village further, but you can go directly to Nameless Village Depths which is slightly northwest of the manor. Enter this cave and you will have to go through a platforming section. At the end you will encounter the Thief Maister. Speak with him twice, making sure to select the dialogue option with the yellow diamond.

Now with everything dealt with in the village, return to Brant in Vernworth and speak with him about the False Sovarrn to complete the quest.
