In Dragon’s Dogma 2, the strongest enemies in the game are the dragons. Knowing their locations is good if you need Dragon Materials, particularly for Wyrmslife Crystals. The Wyrmslife Crystals can be given as gifts to NPCs, every 2 of them max out the affinity with a person. They can also be used as currency to trade items at the Dragonforged and buy the final upgrade for each weapon/armor. You can buy 3 Ferrystones, a Porcrystal, and Unmaking Arrow (instantkill arrow) in exchange for the Wyrmslife Crystals.
You find the Dragonforged vendor north of Bakbattahl in a cave:
Playing as a ranged character is generally best when fighting dragons. Ideally a mage with Lightning/Ice magic and the protective spell “Palladium”. The dragon fights can drag on for a long time, so having a mage to heal with Anodyne and spamming High Palladium to negate all incoming damage will make it much easier.

There is one more Dragon spawn to the east of the Misty Marshes where the road is split and the water goes between the roads. He spawns every 14 days, confirmed and tested.
