Dragon’s Dogma 2 Oxcart Courier Walkthrough

Oxcart Courier is a side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Oxcart Courier side mission.

• Starting Location: Vernworth
• Quest Giver: Donovan
• Requirement: Completed In Dragon’s Wake main quest
• Reward: 300 XP, 5000 G, Miner’s Hosen
• Quest Description: Oxcart service to Melve has resumed, and the proprietor of the carts has asked your aid in inspecting the road and delivering a letter. This could make a nice change of pace.

Objectives:

1. Make for Melve and deliver the letter to Lennart
2. Report back to Donovan

Starting Location

To start this quest, go to the North Vernworth Oxcart Station once you reach Vernworth, then interact with the Oxcart point and choose to wait for the cart. Once it appears you will automatically be spoken to by Donovan, who wants you to deliver a letter to Lennart back in Melve by traveling on the Oxcart.

Make for Melve and deliver the letter to Lennart

Donovan gives you 200 G to ride the Oxcart both ways, which you should do immediately after accepting this quest. Board the cart and pay the fee to travel to Melve. If you are attacked on the road you will need to help defend the cart, but this is not always a guarantee. Once you arrive you will need to look for Lennart within the town, though if this is your first visit back he will likely be standing near the well in the destroyed portion of the town, asking you to help rebuild which starts another quest. Finish that interaction, then speak with him again to turn in the Letter to Ser Lennart.

Below is an image of the well spot and what he looks like. You can also rest at a bench outside the inn and then come back after each rest until he shows up there.

Report back to Donovan

Once you have handed the letter to Lennart, you can make your way back to Venworth at your leisure to speak with Donovan again and complete the quest.
