Lords of the Fallen (2023) All Side Quests Walkthrough

This step-by-step walkthrough shows all Side Quests in Lords of the Fallen (2023) and the trophies / achievements they unlock.

Completing all Quests will unlock the following Trophies / Achievements (can click the linked trophies to jump to relevant quest below):

1.  Part of the Divine – Damarose the Marked receives her divine reward.
2.  Moving On – Byron finds a new purpose
3.  Hero Worship – Drustan’s faith in his brother remains steadfast.
4.  A Trace of Venom – Kukajin concludes her business in Mournstead
5.  The Last Step – The Iron Wayfarer’s journey finally ends
6.  The Price of Knowledge – Exacter Dunmire gains the knowledge he seeks
7.  Without Purpose – Thehk-Ihir leaves Mournstead
8.  A Queen’s Rest – Sophesia bestows a final favour
9.  Vengeful Reflection – An Umbral imprint of Isaac faces the Lightreaper
10.  Faithful – Stomund, Captain of the Fidelis is greeted at the Empyrean
11.  Travels Resumed – Sparky is liberated
12.  Antanas’ Legacy – The value of Andreas of Ebb’s friendship is made clear

We recommend following the All-in-One Collectible Guide during the first playthrough. Then in New Game+ clean up any side quests you missed on the first run. Everything respawns in New Game+ so you can still do any questline that failed in the first playthrough.

Damarose the Marked: Part of the Divine Trophy

To complete the quest for Damarose the Marked, we need to complete this quest by earning the Adyr Ending. This means that no beacons are allowed to be cleaned. If a beacon is cleaned, Damarose will be angry and the quest will fail, requiring a new run through New Game+.

In the following areas the beacons must be ignored.
This is what beacons look like (red light) – don’t interact with them:

 

• Forsaken Fen (After the “Hushed Saint” Boss)
• Fief of the Winter Curse (After the “The Hollow Crow” Boss)
• Tower of Penance ( After the “Reinhold the Immured” Boss)
• The Empyrean (After the “Judge Cleric the Radiant Sentinel” Boss)
• Upper Calrath (After the “The Lightreaper” Boss)

Step 1: Talk to Damarose the Marked in Pilgrim’s Perch before the Boss Fight Scourged Sister Delyth.

Step 2: Talk to Damarose the Marked in Pilgrim’s Perch before the Boss Fight Gentle Gaverus, Mistress of Hounds.

Step 3: Kill the Boss Crimson Rector Percival in Fitzroy’s Gorge

Step 4: Speak to Damarose in the right path of Fitzroy’s Gorge.

Step 5: Speak to Damarose in the Location Shrine of Adyr. She will give you also the Gesture Laughter for killing the Crimson Rector Percival Boss.

Step 6: Find the Adyr’s Worshiper Saw in Cistern and bring it back to Damarose. She give you a new task. You need to collect the Infernal Enchantress Flesh, Spurned Progeny Flesh and Lightreaper Flesh from three different Bosses.

Step 7: Kill Infernal Enchantress for the Infernal Enchantress Flesh in Lower Calrath.

Step 8: Kill the Spurned Progney for the Spurned Progney Flesh in Lower Calrath.

Step 9: Kill The Lightreaper for the Lightreaper Flesh in Defiled Sepulchre, Fitzroy’s Gorge, Fief of the Chill Curse or Upper Calrath.

Step 10: Now follow the main path to Bramis Castle. You’ll find her in a burning building. This is also the last time you can buy Items from her.

Step 11: Defeat The Sundered Monarch. After the Boss Fight go upstair and pick up the item in front of Adyr. You will get the Trophy after that.

How to trigger the Boss Fight for Damarose the Marked:

Step 1: Clean any beacon

Step 2: Defeat Damarose the Marked at the burning building in Bramis Castle.

Byron: Moving On Trophy

This quest is relatively easy, but we have to pay attention to something here too, because as simple as it is, this quest is also easy to miss.

Do not take the elevator after the Skinstealer boss fight to go up to Upper Calrah, otherwise the quest will fail!

Step 1: Talk to Byron in Pilgrim’s Perch in the Belltower.

Step 2: Talk to Byron in Pilgrim’s Perch in Forsaken Fen, next to the Vestige of Vlade.

Step 3: Talk to Byron in Sunless Skein next to the Vestige of Catrin. You’ll also get the Gesture Bemoaning. Byron gives you the task to find Catrin’s Pendant.

Step 4: DON’T USE THE ELEVATOR AFTER THE SKINSTEALER BOSS FIGHT!

Step 5: Talk to Winterberry in the Revelation Depths and exhaust her dialogues. You are also free to go shopping here.

Step 6: Go back to Byron in Sunless Skein next to the vestige of Catrin. Exhaust his dialogues.

Step 7: Meet Byron and Winterberry at Skyrest Bridge. This will give you a bunch of stuff. You’ll get the Celebration Gesture, Eye of Ethryg, and the Part of the Divine trophy.

Drustan: Hero Worship Trophy

This quest requires us to talk to Drustan at all locations. The quest will be missed if we don’t light the campfire at a certain point. Also do not open the door to Fief of the Chill Curse. The quest will also fail if you open the door before talking to Drustan in Fitzroy Gorge and Lower Calrath, so make sure you talk to him first before going to Fief of the Chill Curse. Follow the steps to get the Hero Worship Trophy.

Step 1: Talk to Drustan at Fitzroy Gorge near the cracked Rune Tablet .

Step 2: Talk to Drustan in Lower Calrath on the balcony inside the dining room. Exhaust also his dialogues to obtain the gesture Wheezing.

Step 3: Talk to Drustan in Fief of the Chill Curse after the ice cave. Talk to him and light the campfire afterwards! If you don’t light the campfire the Quest will fail!

Step 4: Soulflay the Durstan’s Umbral Stigma. This is located on the main path when you first have to open the Umbral Door, which is locked. The stigma is in the broken tower.

Step 5: There is also another stigma after the Sundred Monarch Boss in the Boss Arena. Some players can also get the trophy here, which is why his stigma can reappear here if you missed it before.

Kukajin: A Trace of Venom Trophy

For the quest for Kukajin, we need to take her to the boss fights of the seven main bosses. It is important that we pay her after every fight as not not upset her. To summon Kukajin in boss fights, we must die once before each fight so that we can ask for her help before the boss arena. To do this we simply have to speak to her spirit. Note: This quest cannot be combined with Isaac’s quest (must do them in different playthroughs, it doesn’t matter which quest you do first).

Step 1: Free Kukajin in Forsaken Fen. Use a Radiant Healing Spell to free her.

Step 2: Travel to Skyrest Bridge and speak to her.

Step 3: Now travel to Forsaken Fen and die once during The Hushed Saint boss fight.

Step 4: Talk to Kukajin in front of the boss arena and ask her for help.

Step 5: Defeat the boss and travel directly to Skyrest Bridge and pay her for her help.

Step 6: Now travel to Revelation Depths and die once during the Harrower Dervla boss fight.

Step 7: Talk to Kukajin in front of the boss arena and ask her for help.

Step 8: Defeat the boss and travel directly to Skyrest Bridge and pay her for her help.

Step 9: Now travel to Fief of the Chill Curse and die once during The Hollow Crow boss fight.

Step 10: Talk to Kukajin in front of the boss arena and ask her for help.

Step 11: Defeat the boss and travel directly to Skyrest Bridge and pay her for her help.

Step 12: Now travel to The Tower of Penance and die once during The Reinhold the Immured Boss fight.

Step 13: Talk to Kukajin in front of the boss arena and ask her for help.

Step 14: Defeat the boss and travel directly to Skyrest Bridge and pay her for her help.

Step 15: Now travel to The Empyrean and die once during The Judge Cleric the Radiant Sentinel Boss fight.

Step 16: Talk to Kukajin in front of the boss arena and ask her for help.

Step 17: Defeat the boss and travel directly to Skyrest Bridge and pay her for her help.

Step 18: Now travel to Upper Calrath and die once during The Lightreaper Boss fight. Note: You have to die during The Lightreaper in Upper Calrath Location to summon Kukajin.

Step 19: Talk to Kukajin in front of the boss arena and ask her for help.

Step 20: Defeat the boss and travel directly to Skyrest Bridge and pay her for her help.

Step 21: Now travel to Bramis Castle and die once during The Sundered Monarch Boss fight.

Step 22: Talk to Kukajin in front of the boss arena and ask her for help.

Step 23: Defeat the boss and travel directly to Skyrest Bridge and pay her for her help. After speaking to her, rest at a Vestige and return to her. Collect the item and you will then receive the trophy and Quest Rewards.

How to trigger the Boss Fight for Kukajin:

Step 1: Free Kukajin in Forsaken Fen. Use a Radiant Healing Spell to free her.

Step 2: Now travel to any Main Boss Location mentioned above and die once during any Boss Fight.

Step 3: Talk to Kukajin in front of the boss arena and ask her for help.

Step 4: Defeat the boss and don’t pay Kukajin this time for her help.

Step 5: Defeat any Boss with Kukajin again. She will be mad this time.

Step 6: Travel back to Skyrest Bridge Kukajin is gone now.

Step 7: Travel to Upper Calrath and defeat Kukajin.

The Iron Wayfarer: The Last Step Trophy

We can only get this quest trophy if we’re doing the Umbral Ending. We have to talk to Harkyn at each location and look at his Umbral Stigmas to complete the quest. Just follow the Umbral Ending Guide for this Quest, then at the end you’ll automatically get The Last Step and complete the Wayfarer questline.

Exacter Dunmire: The Price of Knowledge Trophy

For this trophy we must bring the Exacter Dunmire back his items. This quest is unmissable as you can do it at any time.

Step 1: Find the Bloody Aspergillum at a Statue near the Scourged Sister Delyth Boss.

Step 2: Find the Book of Sin in Pilgirm’s Perch inside an Umbral Belly.

Step 3: Find the Hallowed Sentinel Scripture on the Top Platform at Pilgirm’s Perch.

Step 4: Find the Vanguard Barros Rosary in Lower Calrath.

Step 5: Find the Ravager Gregory’s Rosary in Lower Calrath.

Step 6: Defeat Harrower Dervla to obtain the Dark Crusaders Call.

Step 7: Find the Umbral Tome from Upper Calrath in the Tower that leads to Sunless Skein.

Step 8: Talk to Exacter Dunmire in Skyrest Bridge and exhaust his dialogues.

Step 9: Buy everything from him.

Step 10: Find the Perception Wisp in The Tower of Penance.

Step 11: Talk to Exacter Dunmire and exhaust his dialogues.

Step 12: Find Exacter Dunmire in Sunless Skein near the Vestige

Step 13: Collect the Item Dunmires Ring next to the Well that leads to Mother’s Lull.

Step 14: Find Exacter Dunmire in Mothers Lull and talk to him.

Step 15: Travel to the Vestige of Hooded Antulli and collect his Item to get this Trophy. To find his Item follow the path to Upper Calrath to the Tower.

Thehk-Ihir: Without Purpose Trophy

For this quest we have to take care with Thehk at every location where he sets up his merchant camp. This quest is relatively easy, so it is almost impossible to miss.

Step 1: Speak to Thehk-Ihir in Pilgrim’s Perch.

Step 2: Speak to Thehk-Ihir in Forsaken Fen next to the Vestige of the Pale Butcher.

Step 3: Speak to Thehk-Ihir in Skyrest Bridge next to the Vestige of Ethyg.

Step 4: Speak to Thehk-Ihir in Fief of the Chill Curse next to the Vestige of Loash before the Hollow Crow Boss.

Step 5: Speak to Thehk-Ihir in Path of Devotion next to the Vestige of Dieter.

Step 6: Speak to Thehk-Ihir in Manse of the Hallowed Brothers next to the Vestige of Brother Jeremiah.

Step 7: Speak to Thehk-Ihir in Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters next to the Vestige of Rosamund. This is also the last time you can buy all the items from him.

Step 8: Defeat Judge Cleric in The Empyrean. After the Boss collect the Thorned Chaice and you’ll get this trophy.

Tortured Prisoner (Sophesia): A Queen’s Rest Trophy

For this quest we have to bring Sophesia her items back. The quest is relatively simple and easy to do.

Step 1: Free the Tortured Prisoner in Skyrest Bridge by giving her the Searing Accusation that can be found near her.

Step 2: After freeing her, rest at any vestige and go outside to Skyrest Bridge where you fought against Pieta. Talk to her to progress her Quest

Step 3: Defeat the Spurned Progeny in Lower Calrath to obtain the Giant Eyeball.

Step 4: Collect the Noblewoman Set in Upper Calrath and wear it.

Step 5: Travel back to the Spurned Progeny Boss Arena and give the Tortured Prisoner the Giant Eyeball and exhaust her dialogues.

Step 6: Buy the new spells from her.

Step 7: After resting at any Vestige, Sophesia will move to Upper Calrath next to the Beacon. Talk to her to obtain the Elegant Perfume.

Step 8: Follow the Mainpath to Bramis Castle. You’ll find the Charred Letter next to the stairs outside the Bramis Castle near the entrance.

Step 9: Travel back to Sophesia in Upper Calrath near the Beacon. Give her the Charred Letter to progress the Quest.

Step 10: Talk to Sopheisa next to the Vestige of the Bloody Pilgrim in Bramis Castle to progress the Quest.

Step 11: Find the Swaddling Cloth in King’s Bedroom.

Step 12: Give Sophesia the Cloth

Step 13: Defeat the Sundered Monarch in the Throne Room.

Step 14: Talk to Sophesia in the Throne Room to obtain the Trophy.

How to trigger the Boss Fight for The Tortured Prisoner (Sophesia):

Step 1: Free the Tortured Prisoner in Skyrest Bridge by giving her the Searing Accusation that can be found near her.

Step 2: After freeing her, rest at any vestige and go outside to Skyrest Bridge where you fought against Pieta. Talk to her to progress her Quest.

Step 3: Defeat the Spurned Progeny in Lower Calrath to obtain the Giant Eyeball.

Step 4: Collect the Noblewoman Set in Upper Calrath and wear it.

Step 5: Travel back to the Spurned Progeny Boss Arena and give the Tortured Pirsoner the Giant Eyeball and exhaust her dialogues.

Step 6: Buy the new spells from her.

Step 7: After resting at any Vestige, Sophesia will move to Upper Calrath next to the Beacon. Talk to her to obtain the Elegant Perfume.

Step 8: Follow the Mainpath to Bramis Castle. You’ll find the Charred Letter next to the stairs outside the Bramis Castle near the entrance.

Step 9: Travel back to Sophesia in Upper Calrath near the Beacon. Give her the Charred Letter to progress the quest.

Step 10: Talk to Sopheisa next to the Vestige of the Bloody Pilgrim in Bramis Castle to progress the quest.

Step 11: DON’T GIVE SOPHESIA THE SWADDLING CLOTH!

Step 12: Defeat the Sundered Monarch in the Throne Room.

Step 13: Find Sophesia near the King’s Bedroom outside on the Balcony and defeat her.

Isaac (Paladin): Vengeful Reflection Trophy

You can’t miss this quest as long as you don’t kill the Lightreaper in his optional Areas. We have to kill the Lightreaper together with Isaac in Upper Calrath. The quest can be done at any point as long as we do not kill The Lightreaper. Note: This quest cannot be combined with Kukajin’s quest (must do them in different playthroughs, it doesn’t matter which quest you do first).

Step 1: Pick up the Flayed Skin after the first Tutorial Boss on the right path.

Step 2: Interact with Isaac’s Stigma in Lower Calrath to progress the Quest.

Step 3: Interact with Isaac’s Stigma in Fief of the Chill Curse to progress the Quest.

Step 4: Interact with Isaac’s Stigma in Fief of the Chill Curse after the Lightreaper Arena near the cliff to progress the Quest.

Step 5: Interact with Isaac’s Stigma in Path of Devotion to progress the Quest.

Step 6: In the same area switch to Umbral and go down the path from the stigma and go to the end. There the big Umbral door is now open where we can interact with the last Stigma of Isaac. This triggers the Paladin’s Burden boss fight at the same time.

Step 7: Travel back to the tutorial area and head to the arena where you defeated the first bite. Follow the path to the right and switch to Umbral. There the door is open. Collect the items.

Step 8: Go to Upper Calrath and summon Isaac before fighting the Lightreaper. After defeating the Lightreaper along with Isaac, the trophy will unlock.

Stomund, Captain of the Fidelis: Faithful Trophy

For this quest we have to bring Stomund his two Banner-Parts. These are located in two different areas. The quest starts in Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters at the entrance behind the gate.

Step 1: Find the Damaged Standard in Manse of the Hallowed Brothers. This can be found In the large area, when you went up the stairs to the double boss. This time go under the stairs. There is a lift there. Use it and go straight through to find the quest item.

Step 2: Talk to Stomund at the entrance behind the Gate in Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters.

Step 3: Find Tattered Banner in Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters. From the large hall, there is a way up on the left. Follow the stairs up once until you reach the balcony. Now follow the path until you see a new path on the right. Kill the enemy Elite-Abbes Ursula after you come back from Umbral. NOTE: Don’t interact interact with the big door that leads to th location The Empyrean next to the Vestige or the Quest will fail. 

Step 4: Bring the Tattered Banner and the Damaged Standard to Stomund to finish his Quest. NOTE: This is also the last chance to purchase all his items 

Step 5: Travel to the Location The Empyrean. Follow the path to the stairs and head to the right and interact with the dead Body from Stomund on the Standard Flag. You’ll get quest rewards and the Faithful trophy.

Sparky: Travels Resumed Trophy

For this quest, we have to free Sparky from Gerlinde. It is important that we all give the last of the runes to Sparky so that he is freed and we get the trophy.

Step 1: Free Gerline from Pilgrim’s Perch. You need to find the Prison Key that is in front of the Cell guarded by an enemy.

Step 2: Find the Cracked Rune Tablet in Fitzroy’s Gorge. This is near the NPC Dursten.

Step 3: Give Gerlinde the Cracked Rune Tablet.

Step 4: Search now for the Chipped Rune Tablet. It is in a house in front of a fireplace in the Lower Calrath area on the way to the Sunless Skein mine.

Step 5: Give Gerlinde the Chipped Rune Tablet Chipped Rune Tablet.

Step 6: Now search for the Rune Tablet. It is located in a chest inside the Tower of Penance on the lower floor.

Step 7: Give SPARKY the Rune Tablet to free him.

Andreas of Ebb: Antanas’ Legacy Trophy

For this quest we simply have to kill Andreas of Ebb, who, funnily enough, also wants to kill us. His quest starts when we have killed the Spurned Progeny in Lower Calrath.

Step 1: Kill the Spurned Progeny in Lower Calrath to trigger his quest.

Step 2: Talk to him in Skyrest Bridge.

Step 3: Go to Fief of the Chill Curse in the ice tunnel (unmissable after first miniboss). Andreas of Ebb is trying to kill us there. However, this fails. Afterwards we also get the gesture: Halting.

Step 4: Talk to him again in Skyrest Bridge. He will now tell us more about the  Andreas of Ebb’s Book of Lineage. We need to find it now.

Step 5: Now go out to the place where you defeated Pieta. Now follow the path straight out where the enemies are beating each other up. You will notice that the door on the left is open. Interact with the stigma there to get the Andreas of Ebb’s Book of Lineage.

Step 6: Talk to Andreas and then rest at the Vestige. You will notice that he has now disappeared.

Step 7: Go to Upper Calrath to the point where you defeated the Lightreaper (Main Boss Version). Follow the path out and the boss map against Andreas triggers. Kill him

Step 8: After the successful fight you get the Antanas’ Legacy trophy including his armour and weapons.
