The Judge Cougar is a Side Quest in Far Cry 5. This walkthrough shows how to complete this Quest.
- Kill a cougar
After liberating the camp talk to the woman with a star symbol above her head in order to accept the Side Mission.
She will ask you to find and kill a Bliss-soaked cougar. You can see the location of the cougar on your map. The cougar can be found in the Dead Man’s River area.
The Judge Cougar is a tough enemy who can swallow a lot of bullets. You will fight him in an area covered in fog from the Bliss Flowers. This will cause haluciations throughout the fight.
You will have a hallucination of a wolf, a couple of turkeys and a bison herd after shooting the cougar multiple times. Simply shoot the hallucination animals for them to disappear. After each hallucination, the cougar will head a bit higher up the steep. When the last hallucination of the bison herd is defeated you will have to take care of the cougar himself. He can deal a lot of damage when you fight him at the beginning of your playthrough, so play safely and use some explosives to defeat him a bit faster.
