Starfield How to Switch Weapons & Use Weapon Wheel

In Starfield you can equip weapons to the quick select weapon wheel. This allows you to switch weapons quickly without going into the inventory each time. The game never explains this so here’s how to do it:

1. Go to Inventory (Xbox: press Menu-Button > select Inventory / PC: press “I”)
2. Click on Weapons
3. The Weapon you want to add to quick select must be added as a Favorite (Xbox: press Y / PC: press B)
4. This will bring up the Weapon Wheel. Select which slot to assign it to. On PC the slots also have a shortcode number (1-9).
5. Now you can open the weapon wheel to quick select the weapon. On Xbox press the directional buttons, on PC press “Q” or the assigned weapon number “1” to “9”.

That’s all there is to it. You can always switch out the favorited weapons by going through the same steps again.
