This guide shows all Armor Locations in Final Fantasy XVI. Armor can be equipped to increase Defense and Health. Here you find a list of all Armor Pieces (Belts & Vambraces) in the game and where to locate them. They aren’t needed for any trophies but it’s good to have the best possible gear to make the game easier.
Most Armor comes from crafting it at the blacksmith in The Hideaway or buying it from merchants. A few pieces are found in chests. The crafted +1 versions have slightly better stats. These can be upgraded further at the Blacksmith. Even better armor upgrades are available in New Game+. The required materials come mostly from quest rewards, dropped by enemies, or from slaying Notorious Marks.
There’s a Point of No Return in Main Quest 25: The Dame and you can’t go back to some story areas before this. All locations after the Point of No Return can be revisited in free-roam and Stage Replay after the story. This guide lists everything in chronological order when it first becomes available. There are enough materials to craft every item in the game if you don’t sell anything.
