Awakening is the 4th Main Quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance (KCD). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Awakening Main Quest.
This quest triggers automatically after completing Main Quest “Homecoming”.
You simultaneously unlock a second Main Quest called “Vengeance”, but it cannot be completed yet and requires a lot more main story progression.
Get your things from the trunk
This quest starts with you waking up in a bed in a mill and Theresa (the Skalitz Miller’s daughter) is by your bedside, telling you that you’ve been out for two weeks and Miller Peshek took you in to nurse you back to health.
Stand up from your bed and interact with the trunk next to your bed (the big wooden box). Pick up all the equipment from it. You can hold 
(PS4) / 
(XB1) to grab all.
Talk to Miller Peshek
Talk to the miller who took you in. He’s walking around the building where you woke up (Rattay Mill). You will have to pay off the cost for the medicine that he paid for you. Talking to him will unlock Side Quest: The Good Thief.
Feel free to do this quest right away. The longer you keep Miller Peshek waiting the more angry he will get with you. Doing the quest unlocks a lockpicking tutorial, gives you the pickpocketing skill, and you unlock “fences” (people who buy stolen goods from you). It’s well worth the time.

Go to Pirkstein to see Sir Radzig
Simply follow the road up the hill to the castle of Rattay. Go upstairs in the castle and open the door on the right side. This will trigger a cutscene and finish the Awakening Quest.
