Resident Evil 4 Remake Chapter 8 contains 12 Collectible Locations. This walkthrough will guide you to all collectibles in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies, achievements and 100% completion is included: Treasures, Castellans, Merchant Requests, Recipes, Weapons, Weapon Parts, Chapter-Specific Trophies & Achievements.
All Collectibles except Treasures Progress carry over into New Game Plus. There is no Chapter Select or Free-Roam after the story, but you can get missing collectibles in New Game Plus. All Treasures must be found in a single playthrough to unlock their trophies. Some collectibles can’t be reached on the first visit, those must be collected during later chapters when you have the necessary key items.
Collectible Progress can be tracked in the Challenges Menu. Treasure Progress shows on the world map after buying the treasure map from the merchant. It’s highly recommended to collect everything at the first opportunity outlined here, areas gradually become inaccessible when advancing the story.
Chapter 8
Objective: Find Ashley
Key Item: Crimson Lantern
In Wine Cellar, dropped by the summoner, the first enemy in this chapter. Use it on the door at the start of the area, from where you entered the room with the enemy encounter.
Treasure: Mirror with Pearls & Rubies
In Wine Cellar, Open the chest behind the Summoner enemy.
(Bonus Gemstone: In the Wine Cellar you can pull the lever upstairs to drop the chandelier, then collect a Yellow Diamond under the Chandelier. Doesn’t count as a Treasure, not needed for anything).
Treasure: Extravagant Clock
After a cutscene you will be inside the “Bindery”. In here open the treasure chest.
Lithographic Stone B, C, D
Inside the “Bindery”, pick up the 3 stones and insert them on the door in the same room and place the stones as shown in image below. Note that you must place the correct stone in the correct slot. Each stone has 2 icons showing either a blue or orange icon, and either a square or hexagon around it. Match each icon to the correct color and square or hexagon around it. Left = Orange Helmet in Hexagon / Top = Orange Shield in Square / Right = Blue Sword in Square / Bottom = Blue Armor in Hexagon.
Key Item: Small Key
In the corridor after solving the Lithographic Stones Puzzle. With this key backtrack to the Bindery and open the locked drawer there for a treasure.
Treasure: Brass Pocket Watch
Backtrack to the Bindery and use Small Key on the locked drawer to get this.
Treasure: Ornate Necklace
While going through the Castle Battlements, you will come to a point where you must flip a switch to Night (yellow switches that let you pick between Day/Night to open gates). Then you must follow the path until you must climb up yellow rubble, climb up, then drop down through a hole to land near this treasure chest.
Castellan 8
When you go back outside and reach the top of the castle walls, a Giant will throw rocks at you (big Ogre). Here drop down the RIGHT side of the tower, towards the west of the map. Enter the 2nd tower in the west. On the rooftop, circle around the tower to find the Castellan at the end.
Treasure: Emerald
On same tower as the Castellan.
Treasure: Ruby
Still in the Castle Battlements area, after passing the third tower on the map. Flip the switch to Day, then drop down to the bottom floor and enter the room under the third tower. You can shoot down the silver container here.
(Note: The one treasure in the locked drawer in the last castle tower isn’t accessible until Chapter 12, we will backtrack for it later after we have the key for it)
That’s 100% of the collectibles in Chapter 8 of Resident Evil 4 Remake (RE4).

Eva Sim says
You forgot one locked treasure in the castle battlement. It’s not 100%!
PowerPyx says
This is obtained during Chapter 12. You don’t have the key for it in Chapter 8.
This is explained at the top of the guide in the intro text. Many treasures aren’t reachable on first visit to an area.
I’ve added an extra note at the bottom to make this clearer.
Dr. Fortnite says
You forgot a treasure. In the room with the Red Summoner you can go to the upstairs floor and drop the chandelier with a nearby lever and in front of the dropped chandelier on the bottom floor is a yellow diamond
PowerPyx says
Doesn’t count as a map treasure. There are many extra gemstones like this but this one is not needed for the trophies / achievements / challenges. Only the ones marked on the treasure map are needed. I’ll make a note about it though, the extra money from selling it sure doesn’t hurt.
