Like a Dragon: Ishin! Wanted Men Missions Guide

Like a Dragon: Ishin! includes a total of 16 Wanted Men missions. These are a set of objectives not counted as traditional substories that involve catching or fighting different enemies for cash and a handful of other rewards. Completing all 16 missions is required for the Completion List, as well as to earn one of the Revelations and make all opponents available in the arena.

Wanted Men Missions:

To start the Wanted Men missions, walk through the upper level of Mukurogai on the west side any time during Chapter 3 or later, and you’ll be attacked by a group of men in Tengu masks. After defeating them you’ll be introduced to the Wanted Men side activity by Omatsu. Tachibanagumi HQ where you accept the requests is located on the second floor of Mukuroagai, south of the arena.

Missions generally involve heading to the specified location and defeating or catching the target(s), then returning to Omatsu or the board in the HQ to turn in the request. You typically then need to leave the area to spawn a new request (most easily done by taking the boat to Fushimi and back as you need to load into a “new area”). If you get lost on where to go you can check in the Wanted Men section in the Completion List and select the current objective to reread the posting.

After the first couple of postings, you’ll start receiving multiple postings at once. You typically need to finish the whole current group before you can get more (for example, you get 3 and 4 at the same time, and need to do both before you can pick up 5 and 6). Therefore it’s typically easiest just to do them in order of how they are in the completion list, as most of the time the second request when you receive multiple forces you back to HQ anyway.

1. Jozo Tengu: Tarobo – Just north of Shady Bar, the group of men standing against the wall

2. Jozo Tengu: Jozo – In Mururogai near the gate, speak to the men mumbling about tengu.

You then need to go northwest out of the gate (if you haven’t done so already you can give the man at the gate alcohol to let you pass through) and then speak to the man in the tengu mask.

3. Chivalrous Shinobi: White Ninja – In South Fushimi Ichibangai (the south area of the central street in Fushimi) there is a woman standing by the water wheel. When you go near her she says that a man just robbed her, who is the white ninja. Chase them down to complete this objective.

4. Touken Clan: Ichimonji – In Fushimi, walk down the road directly behind Teradaya and you’ll be attacked by the Wanted Man. You will then automatically be taken to Tachibanagumi HQ when you defeat the enemy.

5. Chivalrous Shinobi: Blue Ninja – In North Fushimi Ichibangai, go directly north of the Jizo Statue to the woman standing by the wall. She’ll call out the thieves, and you need to chase down a total of 10 to complete this objective.

6. Touken Clan: Aramasa – In Rakugai in North Umekojicho, walk down the path directly north of Shady Bar to be attacked by the Wanted Man.

You then need to go directly south to the spot in the path that is south of Rakugai Arms Dealer and you will be attacked by this man again, along with a second one once you defeat him. Once they are both dealt with you’ll automatically be taken to Tachibanagumi HQ.

7. Escort Request – This one is a little different, when you return to HQ you’re asked to escort a man. Meet him outside the north entrance to Mukurogai and you’ll then have to escort him directly north. You’ll be attacked by some men on the way, then he’ll head off on his own and you’ll automatically be taken back to Tachibanagumi HQ.

8. Touken Clan: Yukimitsu – Go into HQ and look at the board, which prompts Omatsu to come in and talk to you. You’re going to the Touken Clan hideout this time, so tell her when you’re ready and you’ll go there automatically. Defeat the group of men to complete the objective. You will also receive Book of Revelations: Smash after completing this objective.

9. Chivalrous Shinobi: Green Ninja – In Rakunai, in South Teramachi Street, there is a woman standing by the railing at the south end of the road. She’ll call out the thieves, and you need to chase down a total of 3 to complete this objective. If you lose track of these guys from getting too far away you should be able to spot them just by running down the main road.

10. Jozo Tengu Gang – In Rakugai, you can find these men sitting just outside Uji Tea Parlor. Interact with them to fight them.

11. Chivalrous Shinobi: Tojiro – This time you’re going to deal with the leader of the Chivalrous Shinobi, and need to meet one of the green ninjas in North Yashikimachi in Fushimi. You can find him in the corner of the road just south of the Dojo building. Speak with him to go to the hideout and fight the leader, then you’ll automatically return to HQ.

12. Jozo Tengu: Tarobo – On the first floor of Mukurogai, you can find the group of Jozo Tengu at the north end of the center path. Go up and interact with them to fight them.

13. Chivalrous Shinobi: Red Ninja – In South Umekojicho (the area directly north of Fushimi) there is a woman standing just to the left. Go speak to her for her to point out the ninja running away. This time you only need to catch the single red ninja to complete the objective.

14. Touken Clan: Remnants – In Rakunai, walk down Teramachi Street and around the Jizo Statue you’ll automatically be attacked by the group of men. Defeat them to complete this objective.

15. Jozo Tengu: Jozo – In Rakunai, go all the way to the north end to where the shrine is to find the Jozo Tengau and the Red Ninja waiting for you. Beat them in the ensuing fight to complete the objective and automatically return to HQ.

16. Inabara Akumi – The final objective, head over to the riverside in Rakugai (this is the east part of the Sannocho area) for the final fight against Inabara Akumi.
