Hogwarts Legacy How to Change Gear Outfit Design

In Hogwarts Legacy you can change the appearance of your gear outfits. You can do this for each equipment piece individually (gloves, glasses, hats, neckwear, cloaks and robes, suits).

This way, if you find a new equipment piece that is stronger but doesn’t look as good, you can simply overwrite the design. You can pick any design of any equipment piece you found previously, even if you already sold those pieces.

To change your equipment appearance, do the following:

1. Open the Gear Menu
2. Scroll over any item and it will show the “Change Appearance” Button. On PlayStation = Square Button / Xbox = X-Button / Switch = Y-Button.
