Hogwarts Legacy The Final Repository Walkthrough

The Final Repository is the forty-sixth main quest in Hogwarts Legacy. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Final Repository Main Mission.

Requirement: having completed Wand Mastery, Level 24
Reward: 260 XP, The Hero of Hogwarts
Quest Info: The professors and I defeated Ranrok, but not before he broke open the Repository and exploited its power. Professor Fig sacrificed his life to help me repair the Repository and contain its contents.

Starting Location: The Final Repository

We have now the wand fashioned from the Keepers’ artifacts and Victor Rookwood is now just a memory. Let’s now reconvene with the Keepers in the Map Chamber. Time to confront Ranrok.

Return to the Map Chamber

Warp to Hogwarts > Secret Rooms > Map Chamber and start the quest.

Talk to Professor Fig

Inside the Map Chamber, talk to Professor Fig.

Enter the Keepers’ Caverns

Now proceed through the door and interact with it to enter the Keepers’ Caverns.

Make Your Way to the Repository

Walk with Fig along the bridge.

Stop the Goblin Loyalists

Kill all goblin Loyalists in your way.

Reach the Repository Before Ranrok

Wait for Fig to move the drill and then continue on.

Defeat the Loyalists and Their Trolls

Now defeat another wave of Loyalists and two armored trolls.

Find a Path Through

Now approach the wall with the hazed veil and Fig will blast our way through.

Continue on through the tunnels.

You know the drill. Defeat all enemies.

Now approach the wall with the hazed veil and Fig will blast our way through. While all Professors deal with the mob, continue your way through the cave.

Defeat the next wave of enemies. Then, watch the cutscene. During the next conversation with Fig, choose any dialogue option you want.

Defeat Ranrok

During the previous cutscene, Ranrok has transformed into a giant Dark magic dragon, impervious to all of your spells and charms. Pause for a moment and rework your Spell Set with at least a purple, yellow and red spell. You’ll need these. Also, if you carry any, consume Maxima Potions to temporarily boost your damage output. During the entire fight, you must focus on avoiding his incoming attacks, but keep an eye out for colored orbs around him. You need to dispel these with the matching color spell in order to take away his invisible shield. Once you have, cast any Damage Spells at him and return the occasional boulders he casts. Each phase plays exactly the previous one, with the only difference that each phase has you dispel one extra orb. So, one orb to dispel in phase one, two in phase two, and three in phase three.
