Hogwarts Legacy No More Main Missions Available Bug Fix

In Hogwarts Legacy, you may run into the problem that no more Main Quests are appearing in your quest log. This can seem like a bug, but most likely what you are experiencing is not a bug at all and you just need to read all pending Owl Post to fix it.

At other points of the story, there will be Assignments that actually show as main objectives when scrolling over them, or you must do assignments to unlock the spells that are needed for the next main quests. So always do Assignments too if reading all Owl Post doesn’t fix the problem.

Often times, there’s a short lag between completing one quest and the next one registering in your quest log. Fast travel to the open world outside Hogwarts and walk around a little bit. You can also try advancing time. Fast travel far away, open the map and click the “Wait” button in the bottom right corner (on consoles press Right Stick), wait 3-4 times in a row. A combination of all of these things should trigger the next quest. Remember that main quests are marked yellow in the quest log and are pinned to the top. The only exception is when you need to do assignments for story purposes.

At the following points in the story you need to read Owl Post or do an Assignment to trigger the next main quest:

• After “Astronomy Class” you must do “Professor Garlick’s Assignment 1″
• After “In the Shadow of the Mine” you must read pending Owl Post
• After “In the Shadow of the Mountain” you must read pending Owl Post

Other than that the next main quest should always trigger automatically when completing the previous one.
