Hogwarts Legacy has 140 Conjuration locations. Finding all Conjurations is required to complete all Collections for the Collector’s Edition trophy & achievement. They unlock decorations and gameplay stations conjured in the Room of Requirement.
None of the Collectibles in Hogwarts Legacy are missable. You can still find everything after the story in free-roam. Some story areas can’t be revisited but those don’t contain any collectibles. It’s best to play through the main quests first to gain access to everything, then do all assignments to unlock all spells, find all Demiguise Statues to open Level 3 locks, then do all side quests to open up all optional side areas for exploration. As you play through the game grab any collection chests you find. After all of this you should have most items already. Then you can clean up the remaining Collection Chests. Fully zoom out on the world map to see a collectible tracker for each region. In Hogwarts Castle you can select a section of the castle to see how many collection chests there are in that particular area.
In the Collection Menu you can keep track of how many Conjurations you found and how to obtain them. The menu has a heading for each obtaining method, e.g. some collectible types are bought from vendors, some come as challenge rewards (after completing a challenge tier click on it in challenges menu to get the reward), some are from exploration which means collection chests, some are quest rewards. DLC bonus items are not needed for any trophies & achievements.
This guide lists the items in the same order as the in-game Collection Menu. This makes it easy to compare against your in-game list what you are missing.
Potential Bug Warning: There are reports that if you start Side Quest: Follow the Butterflies in Hogsmeade, but do not complete it and instead complete another butterfly, you permanently get bugged out of 1 conjuration. Complete the quest as soon as you accept it to avoid this.

Exploration
The following items are rewards from Collection Chests. It is RANDOM which chest contains which item. For example, when you make a manual save in front of a Collection Chest, open it, reload save, you will get a different item each time. Every Collection Chest in the game is assigned one category of collection item – meaning it will always give either an “Appearance” or “Trait” or “Wand Handle” or “Conjuration” – but which item exactly it gives is random. For example, the same chest will always give a Conjuration, but it’s complete luck which Conjuration exactly you receive. Because they are all random no specific location data can be provided because there is no fixed location for any of these items. You will have to open ALL Collection Chests in the game to obtain all Collection Items / Exploration Items. When you fully zoom out on the map it shows how many Collection Chests there are per region. They are mostly in settlements and bandit camps (both marked on map after unfogging it). They also show up on the minimap as white chest icons when nearby. A few are from following butterflies which only show on the minimap when nearby (butterfly icon), and a few are found in the Vivarium (where you put your beasts in Room of Requirement). Also see Butterfly Locations. In Hogwarts you can click on a section of the castle to see how many there chests there are in that specific section, check the minimap and constantly cast Revelio 
to highlight chests. Make sure you have the HUD Minimap enabled in the Settings under User Interface Options.
The best approach is to check all named settlements (house icons on map) first for chests. Then check all bandit camps in the region. If your region counter shows any chests missing, fly over the region in a line pattern (west to east or north to south) and check the minimap to see the chest icon or butterfly icon. If a chest is nowhere to be found it’s either from following butterflies to a treasure or from an optional area unlocked in a side quest (can return to those areas after the quests). For this reason you should focus on clearing all quests first (see All Side Quests). If you end up with a few items missing also explore inside the Vivarium because it has collection chests too. Depulso Puzzle Room 1 & Depulso Puzzle Room 2 contain items too so check them as well.

Small Vivarium is located in a hamlet collection chest in coastal region behind a locked door.
Anyone still missing this, go to the Forbidden Forest Floo flame and head north on the path through the arch way. Thought I’d already gotten these but went there anyways and they were there and I was able to get the small vivarium decorations.

You are missing either the chests from inside the Vivarium or from Butterflies.

Butterflies chests are counted in Collection Chest stat, So if you’re not full on some region stats, look there !

The conjurations are random which you get from which chests, so specifying which you’re missing is pointless. Has anyone finished all 140? I like so many other posting am at 139. All 15 butterflies, all 12 vivariums. All Highlands, Hogwarts, and Hogsmeade show complete on their maps. The one issue I see is that the sum of all the chests in the highlands individuals zones is 116, not 117.
If you zoom right out, you’ll be able to check the Zones individually, to see which one you are missing. You can then check the cairns and hamlets in that zone to see the chest count for each of those, and find where it is.
For me, the last Highlands chest was in Hogwarts Valley, in The Gilded Perch cairn – which only becomes available at the ends of Poppy’s questline.

Just a reminder to everyone asking for specific items they are missing in the comments: please remember all exploration items from chests are random. It’s impossible to say where your missing item is from because none of them have fixed locations. If you are missing 1 it means you are missing 1 collection chest somewhere. Most likely from the Vivariums or a Butterfly (see All 15 Butterflies).
There’s certainly a bug.
I have done 12/12 vivarium chests (checked a video to confirm)
I checked all 15 butterfly location, went from point A to point B to Revelio Point B and found nothing on each and everyone of them.

I am trying something a member said. Delete the game and reinstall it. Maybe this will fix a butterfly location. I already got all vivarium locations, all bandit camps and I went through all the butterflies and they have all been done. After the reinstallation I will look through the butterflies again because there was one I don’t remember getting.

I did everything, checked the butterflies, did the depulso puzzles, did every bandit camp, took every chest at Hogwarts, Highlands and Hogsmead, but it stills missing two conjurations. I just know the name of one that is missing and it is Armillary Spheres, idk if is bugged or what but I need just more two 138/140, could someone help me?
Since these chests are random, there is no telling how to find what you’re missing. I’m in the same boat. I am missing: Free Standing Clocks and I have done everything as well. It is beyond frustrating and Avalanche should have added these chests to be found on the map. I would have even accepted a question mark of where chests are located. It would be easier to find these darn chests rather than search the entire map for days trying to find one flipping chest. I am so irritated at this and the way the developers coded this that I am ready to pack it in and quit and delete it for good.

Forgot to get the chests in a few vivariums. Now I’m stucked with 139. Every other item in my collectible menu is on max. On the map have a few bugs: have one incomplete merlin trial (it is completed got trophy for all merlin trials), missing one balloon thing (got 100% challenge for it also), and 2 field guide pages (1 in bell tower wing 1 in astronomy wing).

I’m not sure, but I think you should have a disk copy of the game.
So, save your game, delete your PS5 game and disconnect the internet.
Install the game again without any patch and find the butterfly you’re missing. Save the game and close
Download the last patch. When you start the game, the trophy pops.

So firstly you have to have 1 or 2 missing from conjurations 138/140 or 139/140
last chest in 4 rooms (Default, Meadow, Coast, Swamp, and Mountain) always gives 2 conjurations.
if yours is lower you’re probably missing something not looking hard enough so it won’t work.
Firstly teleport to “Room of Requirements” (vivarium) have a auto save to reload there reload your auto save
Speak to Deek change the room to anything different
Go in 4 rooms (Default, Meadow, Coast, Swamp, and Mountain) in vivarium there are 3 chest in each one these rooms and 1 chest will respawn you just will have to locate it
There you go enjoy your 100% platinum.
This worked 4 times as long as you follow steps it should work ^_^

If you’re tracking down the last couple conjurations like I was tonight, triple check those vivariums. I swear I was so thorough in exploring them as they unlocked, but there are some areas that are easy to miss. I went back and found 3 in 3 separate ones and finally got the trophy for completing all collections.
The beach vivarium has a chest that requires you to swim out to the ocean and jump on some rocks for a bit of platforming. It’s almost directly across from the entrance.
The night/swamp vivarium has a lot of side areas, and I somehow missed one of the most obvious ones in the highlands vivarium. There are 3 in each vivarium, and any ones you’ve opened will still be there. Good luck!
I am only missing 1 spellcasting item – exploration, the huge table, however, I don’t know where I can find the missing chest, regarding the world map, Hogwarts and Hogsmeade, it says that I found all the chests on the map, too I took the 12 that are in the 4 nurseries, I attended the places where the butterflies appear but nothing of them either, can someone help me and answer what could be missing or if it is a bug? We are working on a guide for all 140 chests, also noting what category of item each chest unlocks. But this is a big undertaking and will take a while longer, but it’s in the works 🙂

Im stuck at 139 and missing “Small Game Tables”. Where can i find it?
People should understand that when you check the maps for collection chests it does not include the ones you get from following the butterflies. All of my world map showed I had collected all of the collection chests but I was still missing one conjuration item. I eventually found it in a butterfly chest. The little buggers were hiding under the bridge South of Aranshire.
Help! The only one I’m missing is Ruined Stairs. I’ve looked at so many guides and as far as I know I’ve gotten all Vivarium: and butterflies. Any ideas? TIA!

I heard you can conjure more different house elves, is this true or is someone lying to me?
Help please i need to find 45 Stuffed toy dragon and 46 free standing clocks, it shows i opened all the chest available i dont know where to find these two
last chest opens but never gives item and stays on map?
I’m missing the large square rug and the three seater sofa, I also went back and checked the locations but they are empty. I don’t know what to do any ideas?
I’m also all the way at the end of the game
Iam missing these:
Low Arch
Archway
Tall Pillar
Large Natural Terrain
Armillary Spheres
double checked vivariums and butterfilies
I miss Unicorn Statue even if I did the mission and Large rugs too.
Can you help me please?
I cannot find: Quidditch Equipment Shelf ANYWHERE.
I already did the butterfly twice and I know for 100% that I have all the treasure chests in the game. Can anyone help me? :D
Oh and the vivarium’s are also all done, checked those twice as well!
have everything collected and still missing 2, giant purple toad statue and large table. i spent 4 days revisiting every location, puzzle rooms, towns, bandit camps, dive spots, butterflies and vivariums…..so now what, just sit at 99% in-game with collectors editions trophy at 601 out of 603 preventing plat from popping? and i really, really dont want to replay this game for 2 missing items.
Collected everything (every collection chest, butterfly you name it) and still missing 20 Conjurations. Any suggestions?
As a comment. As Exploration collection chests are random. It is possible to open every chest on the map and not collect every item. Thus not get the achievement. Which drives completionists crazy.
have all collection chests in the towns. checking butterflies next, as i’m missing mounted house elf heads…anyone have any idea where that one is specifically found or is it random?
