Introduction
Welcome to the Season: A Letter to the Future Trophy Guide! Season: A Letter to the Future is an adventure bicycle road trip game featuring a woman who decides to collect memories of her time before a mysterious cataclysm washes an entire people away. The game has no Platinum trophy and has quite a few missable ones.
Step 1: Unlock All Missable Trophies Before Entering the Shrine and Complete the Story
Your sole step to 100% is to interact with certain items and complete all main and side quests in the Valley before entering the Shrine. The Shrine will only open up at sunset.
Sunset unlocks only after completing some mandatory main and side quests. All missable trophies can be unlocked at any point in the game after reaching the Valley as long as they’re unlocked before entering the Shrine. Once you’ve unlocked all missable trophies, head into the Shrine, talk to the Monk and complete his quest to reach the endgame area and finish the game.
Here’s the optimized trophy unlock order for all missable trophies based on when the story takes you to their areas:
- Journal Beuatifier
- Deep Listener
- Music for Cows
- Grey Hands Praxis 101
- Dream Listener
- Artist Assistant
- Graffiti Artist
- Emotional Baggage Handler
- Tour de Tieng
- Love Uncoverer
Season: A Letter to the Future Trophy Guide
The End Witness the end of a season. |
||
Unmissable, story-related unlock. This trophy will unlock upon finishing the game, as soon as the end credits start.
Deep Listener Find a hidden botanical voice. |
||
MISSABLE
After talking to the Grey Hands guard (unmissable, story-related event), continue cycling down the road, past the gate the guard was stationed at, until you see a tall stone tower in a side area on your right. Continue past this area to find a side path shortly after leading into a cemetery. Enter the cemetery and interact with the topmost grave with the pink flowers by pressing and then to record the voice speaking. Once the recording circle is complete, you can stop it to unlock this trophy. |
||
Grey Hands Praxis 101 Begin your political education. |
||
MISSABLE
After unlocking Music for Cows, return to the main road and proceed to the area in the back under the fallen archway with the blue tents. Go past the registration point and approach the blue tables on the right, across from the cardboard Grey Hands guard. Now interact with the flyers to unlock this trophy. |
||
Love Uncoverer Uncover some kind of secret romance. |
||
MISSABLE
It is recommended to leave this trophy as your last one before heading into the Shrine. This is because you need to progress far enough into the story to unlock the dialogue choice that unlocks this trophy. When your last thing to do is to enter the Shrine, return to Matyora and talk to her again. A new dialogue option will be available, which, if selected, will unlock this trophy. |
||
Graffiti Artist Leave a mark on Tieng Valley. |
||
MISSABLE
Head to the red cross in the map screenshot below and ride up the hill on the left towards the stone pillar. Continue on past the wooden bridge and turn left up the small hill when you see an exhibit. Continue on up the slope and you should see some graffiti on a wall. Near this wall is a bucket you can interact with and choose what mark to leave on the Valley. For the trophy it doesn’t matter what mark you choose. After making your choice, you’ll unlock this trophy. |
||
Journal Beautifier Completely customize a page in your journal. |
||
MISSABLE
To completely customize a page in your journal, you need to place enough Keepsakes in it until the Keepsakes bar is full. The first opportunity to do so is right after the ritual when the game asks you to place some Keepsakes in your journal at the beginning of the game. |
||
Dream Listener Listen to your friend’s weird but meaningful dream. |
||
MISSABLE
Head to the location marked by the red cross on the map screenshot below and sit down on the bench overlooking the lake. Then, choose to listen to the dream sequence and play it out by choosing any dialogue option you want. When you’re done talking to your imaginary friend, this trophy will unlock. |
||
Music for Cows Play a herd of cows their favorite genre of music. |
||
MISSABLE
After interacting with the pink flower at the cemetery, resume cycling down the main road until you reach another area marked by a collapsed archway. Immediately before this area, there’s a side path on the right side of the road leading to a cow field. Ride the bike across the field to the silo and interact with the radio on the speaker by the table. Turn it on and when the two men are done talking, change the channel once to have the radio play some classical music. This will alert and round up the cows and unlock this trophy. |
||
Tour de Tieng Follow a little kid on a bike tour of the valley. |
||
MISSABLE
As you work your way through Sophon’s side quest, you will have noticed that her little kid left the camp on his bike. Immediately after finishing her quest, you will be standing next to her. To find the kid, turn around and go through the camp, leaving it from the other side and you should see the kid in the distance, across from the house. Grab your bike and ride to him. Now talk to him and agree to have a tour of the valley with him. Follow him on your bike to each location he stops at and continue doing so until you finish his side quest and unlock this trophy. |
||
Home Leaver A journey of a thousand seasons begins with a single step. |
||
Unmissable, story-related unlock. This trophy unlocks right after performing the ritual at the beginning of the game.
Outside World Seer See the outside world before it’s gone. |
||
Unmissable, story-related unlock. This trophy unlocks right after choosing your bike and leaving Caro.
Stranger Encounterer Encounter a stranger and have a pleasant interaction. |
||
Unmissable, story-related unlock. This trophy unlocks after meeting the Grey Hands guard.
Emotional Baggage Handler Help Sophon pack the last of her things. |
||
MISSABLE
Open up your map and head to the field east of the Dig Site and south of the north lake. Here you will find an abandoned camp with a bunch of items and a lady you can talk to. This is Sophon. To unlock this trophy, simply head to all interactive points and exhaust all dialogues. It doesn’t matter what dialogue choices you pick for the trophy. |
||
Artist Assistant Capture Tieng Valley in a moment. |
||
MISSABLE
From the bench you sat on to unlock Dream Listener, continue along the dock and up the hill until you see a stone bridge on your right. Cross it to reach a new area with a small red statue you can interact with on one of the tables in the back. This will trigger Matyora’s quest. Complete her quest by choosing any dialogue option you want and you will unlock this trophy. |
||
Shrine Arriver Arrive at the Shrine. |
||
Unmissable, story-related unlock. This trophy will unlock right after leaving the Valley and entering the Shrine. Make sure to have unlocked all missable trophies before entering the Shrine as the Shrine works as a point-of-no-return in this game.
Goodbye Tieng Valley Exit the Valley before the flood enters it. |
||
Unmissable, story-related unlock. This trophy will unlock after your trip with the Monk and reach the endgame area. |
Miguel Angel Rodriguez says
Hi, great work with the guide. Just a note, if there is PS4 and PS5 version, but I don’t know if there is autopop.
Cheers.
HatboxGhost says
I can’t get Matyora to have a different dialogue option. Is there anything you need to do to trigger it? I have all missable trophies aside from that one.
FranciRoosters says
Have you played through all other side quests first?
HatboxGhost says
I have no idea I got all the other trophies but I don’t know how to tell what or where all the side quest are in that game
HatboxGhost says
Nevermind I figured it out. For all of those that are needlessly exploring all nooks and crannies look for a locket in the birdhouse of the Ancient Tree then you can ask Matyora and you will receive the trophy!
Babga says
Did you get the locket? It’s at the tree the kid showed you. That should trigger the dialogue
