God of War Ragnarok contains 38 Artifact Locations. Finding all Artifacts (Artefacts) unlocks The Curator trophy. They are purple-glowing objects, divided into different artifact sets. The “Casualties of War” favors in the Crater area of Vanaheim count as both a favor and an Artifact (counting those as Artifacts there are technically 48 Artifacts, 5 Casualties of War with 2 Favor Items each for 10 Favor Items total).
None of the Artifacts are missable. You can still get all of them after the story in free-roam. They are all in areas you can return to. During the story you will be missing the required skills for some of them so you must backtrack later after making enough story progress.
This guide is intended for use after the story!
General Note: The American version of the game uses American English by default and calls them “Artifacts”. The version for the rest of the world uses British English by default and calls them “Artefacts”. This is just a British English / American English difference but they are the same thing.
For more Collectible Categories see » God of War Ragnarok Collectible Guide. The Artifacts are also included in the guides by region.
