God of War Ragnarok The Sinkholes Collectible Locations

The Sinkholes contains 12 Collectible Locations in God of War Ragnarok. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in The Sinkholes Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.

It’s recommended to collect everything after the story. Most regions can’t be completed on the first visit because they require certain skills from story progress.

How to Reach The Sinkholes Region:
To reach this region you must complete Favor: Scent of Survival. Afterward you reach “The Plains“. You must first complete “The Jungle” to the south of “The Plains” to flood the area. Then enter “The Sinkholes” to the east of “The Plains“. Only after flooding the area (by completing The Jungle) you can get all collectibles here!

#1 – Nornir Chest
After sliding down the long rope to enter the area (coming from “The Plains” region). You must light 3 braziers. #1 is to the right of the chest. #2 is left of the chest. #3 is above the chest, must climb to the ledge above. You must place purple runic arrows and attack those with your Chaos Blades to cause a chain reaction that lights the braziers.

#2 – Lore (Lore Marker – Everything Ends)
From the chest turn around, at the end of this area go right to enter the next area. There you find the Lore Marker, on the right wall.

#3 – Seasonal Stag
Turn around from Lore, swing across the river, the stag will be here. YOU MUST TALK TO THE SQUIRREL AT SINDRI’S HOUSE TO GET THE QUEST ITEM “YGGDRASIL LEAVES” TO FEED THE STAG! If you don’t have the quest item you can’t interact with the stag, in that case use the Mystic Gateway to get back to Sindri’s house and come back after.

#4 – Favor Item – Casualties of War: The Hourglass
Next to the Stag climb up, blow up the yellow-glowing wall with spear, in the next area you encounter a dragon and must blow up the 2 pillars it sits on (again with spear). After the dragon flies away, pull the chain on the gate to the right, follow the path behind the gate and you will find this purple item on the path. It will spawn a ghost that gives you the favor.

#5 – Dragon Hunt (Favor: Quaking Hollow)
From the last item keep following the path. Burn vines on the cave ceiling, swing across the gap, drop down at the end, turn right and go through tunnel, then defeat the dragon boss.

#6 – Artifact (Kvasir’s Poems – Eastern Spectre)
After defeating the dragon burn the red vines, squeeze through the gap to find this on the path.

#7 – Berserker Gravestone (Chaos Flame)
From the Artifact turn around and go back to where you fought the dragon. Climb up the wall and open the gate to get back to where the Lore Marker & Stag were. TO ADVANCE YOU MUST HAVE GONE THROUGH THE JUNGLE TO FLOOD THE AREA (SEE THE JUNGLE COLLECTIBLE GUIDE). Get in the boat and head right until you get to the area where you encountered the flying dragon on the pillars earlier. Dock your boat, on the platform where you destroyed the dragon pillars will be a berserker gravestone. You get a Chaos Flame from this one for a weapon upgrade.

#8 – Nine Realms in Bloom (Flower: Starblush)
Same area as the Berserker Gravestone, on the side of the river.

#9 – Odin’s Raven
After the previous collectible, pull the chains to open the next gate that blocks the river. Now get back in your boat and row to the next beach. On the left of the beach is another gate with chains. Stand in front of the chains, look left to see the Raven. You can hit it from this point with the Spear.

#10 – Favor Item – Casualties of War: The Hourglass
From the same beach, go through the gate opposite the one where you pull the chains (the other gate). Blow up the yellow glowing rocks on the right by exploding 3 spears on them simultaneously. Then go to the end of the tunnel to blow up more rocks which reveals this purple-glowing quest item. Picking it up completes the “Casualties of War 1/1” in the region overview.

#11 – Nornir Chest
From the last location climb up the wall on the right (at end of tunnel). As soon as you go outside the Nornir Chest is in front of you. Explode your spear on the 3 Nornir Totems simutalenously. #1 is to the left of where you climbed up, at the cliffside. #2 is on a pillar to the right of where you climbed up. #3 is to the left of the Nornir Chest.

#12 – Dragon Hunt (Favor: The Burning Skies)
To the left of the Nornir Chest climb up the wall. At the top you encounter the Dragon boss. During the fight you must again blow up pillars with your spear. After this fight the region should be 100% complete.
