God of War Ragnarok Lake of Nine Collectible Locations

Lake of Nine contains 23 Collectible Locations in God of War Ragnarok. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in Lake of Nine Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.

Collectibles

#1 – Buried Treasure (Treasure Map – Demise of Dagestr)
Behind a yellow glowing ice block, must destroy it with the spear. The treasure is glowing golden in the ground. For the treasure to spawn you must first have collected the Treasure Map, it’s from a Lore Scroll collectible found in Svartalfheim > The Applecore. See The Applecore Collectibles: #1 Lore (Treasure Map – Demise of Dagestr). You’ll get it automatically when going for 100% completion in The Applecore. Backtrack here afterward, the treasure will then glow golden on the ground.

#2+#3 – Lore + Guiding Light (Rune Read – Tyr’s Left Bracer)
From the Mystic Gateway around the corner.

#4 – Armor: Gauntlets of Guiding Light (Wrist Armor)
Buried next to the Lore (doesn’t count as collectible, just an extra reward).

#5 – Berserker Gravestone (Berserker Waist Guard – Waist Armor)
To the right (east) of the Guiding Light lore. In front of the Helheim (green “H” icon) tower. To interact with it you need a story item “Inert Hilt of Skofnung” which is automatically obtained in Mission 9: The Word of Fate. Defeat the miniboss Fraekni the Zealous.

#6+#7 – Lore + Guiding Light (Rune Read – Tyr’s Helmet)
In the frozen lake under the big golden helmet with smoke coming out of it

#8 – Armor: Breastplate of Guiding Light (Chest Armor)
Buried next to the Lore (doesn’t count as collectible, just an extra reward).

#9 – Artifact (Stolen Treasures – Janbiya)
South of the golden helmet with smoke coming out of it, destroy the wall of icicles to reveal the artifact behind (to the right of Raider Stronghold entrance).

#10 – Draugr Hole (Chaos Spark)
In the north-east corner of the lake. Defeat the enemy coming out of the burning ground.

#11 – Artifact (Stolen Treasures – Kila)
Up the stairs of some ruins. The wolves can’t go there, must get off the sled.

#12 – Odin’s Raven
At Raider Hideout entrance, to the right of it.

#13 – Buried Treasure (Treasure Map – Viking’s Gift)
Below the Raven, to the right of the Raider Hideout entrance. For the treasure to spawn you must first have collected the Treasure Map, it’s from a Lore Scroll collectible found in Midgard > Raider Fort. See Raider Fort Collectibles: #2 Lore (Treasure Map – Viking’s Gift). You’ll get it automatically when going for 100% completion in Raider Fort. Backtrack here afterward, the treasure will then glow golden on the ground.

#14 – Remnants of Asgard
Use the elevator in the north-east of Lake of Nine to get up to the bridge to Tyr’s Temple. The encounter is on there. It only spawns after finishing the main story, come back for it after that.

#15 – Yggdrasil Rift
Go down the stairs on left of Tyr’s Temple bridge (behind Remnants of Asgard encounter), at the end of the path is the rift, where you fought Thor in the first mission of the story.

#16 – Artifact (Stolen Treasures – Maya)
Under Tyr’s Temple Bridge, near Raider Stronghold entrance, can climb a rock to find it on a corpse.

#17+#18 – Lore + Guiding Light (Rune Read – Tyr’s Spear)
In south-west section of the lake, just past the Tyr’s temple bridge

#19 – Jotunheim’s Essence (Amulet Enchantment)
Buried next to the Lore (doesn’t count as collectible, just an extra reward).

#20 – Odin’s Raven
At the south wall of Tyr’s Temple, in an ice cave.

#21 – Lore (Scroll – Receipt of Purchase)
South-west of the raven, behind a yellow glowing piece of ice that you can blow up with the spear.

#22 – Relic (Mystical Heirloom)
Next to the Lore scroll on the ground.

#23 – Legendary Chest (Lion’s Roar Sauroter – Spear Handles)
In West of Lake of Nine, behind a yellow glowing piece of ice that you can blow up with spear. Spawns a Phantom miniboss that you must defeat by destroying the 4 purple statues it spawns. Then you can interact with the chest.
