Requirement: Access to River Delta (complete Main Quest 6: The Reckoning)
Reward: 1500 Freya XP, Mardoll, Steel Harmony, Regal Vanir Garments, It Was a Good Day
Objectives:
- Reach the entrance of Freya’s wedding shrine
- Explore the shrine
- Leave the shrine
Starting Location: Freya’s Missing Peace
Freya’s Missing Peace can be started automatically for Freya by sailing down the River Delta past the Mystic Gateway in Freyr’s Camp, which can be done after completing Main Quest 6: The Reckoning. The River Delta can only be accessed at day, must change the daytime at the Celestial Altar at Freyr’s Camp Mystic Gateway to remove the blockade from the river.
Reach the entrance of Freya’s wedding shrine
Row through the River Delta and land at the Cliffside Ruins.
Deal with the enemies then climb up. Jump across the platforms and use Freya’s runic arrows combined with your chaos blade flames to clear the bramble and lower the chain. Climb the chain and carve the rune in the stand to open the passage through the river.
Row down to Goddess Falls and land on the beach.
Deal with the enemies and climb the wall, where you will find a lore marker. Climb the second wall, and there will be an Odin’s Raven flying around you can kill.
There will also be Nornir Chest in the same area. There are 3 braziers to light, and you will need to use Freya’s Runic arrows to carry the fire to them. One is to the right, one is on the waterfall above, and one is on a ledge to the left.
After that is done, interact with the rock to continue.
Explore the shrine
Head inside the shrine, where you will be faced with a boss fight: the Soul Eater.
This is very similar to the Forest Ancient you fought previously, except the Soul Eater will spray an ice beam every time it opens its core, and will also slam ice around it whenever you are close. Wait until it opens its core and throw your axe, then grab and throw the white orb it spits out to deal massive stagger damage. Run in, press , and spam to deal big damage. This will take two phases to kill it. There will be reavers and poison gas present during the whole fight, but it is not worth trying to deal with first, just focus on the Soul Eater.
After defeating the Soul Eater, head to the right side to find a treasure map in the corner, and a lore marker on the wall.
Head to the middle where the Soul Eater was and throw your axe at the bridge chain, then head to the bridge and use Runic Arrows to create a path for your fire to burn the bramble, then cut the second chain.
Deal with the Nightmares in the next area, then read the lore marker in the corner. Continue forward and some Cursed Gulons will break down a gate, kill them and then grab the artefact from where they came out.
Continue forward through the gate, then burn the bramble to your right and cut the chain to open the gate to the Legendary Chest.
Deal with the enemies, then speak to Freya on the balcony for the first belonging. Follow Freya to the next rune lock and use it.
Return to the middle area, kill the enemies and go to the gate to the right of the entrance. Use Runic Arrows and the Chaos Blade to light the torches above the gate simultaneously.
Head inside and ignore the enemy, burn down the bramble and continue upstairs. Kill the healing enemy, then kill everything else. Speak to Freya for the second belonging, then follow her to the next rune lock.
On your way out, read the Lore Marker upstairs, and the Rune Read downstairs.
Return to the middle area again and read the runic word to create the bridge. Cross it to find a lore scroll on the ground.
Head through the door for the final belonging. On the way out, there will be a final Lore Marker by the wall.
Leave the shrine
Kill the Wulvers and leave the shrine. As you try to board the boat, you will be attacked by two Drekis.
This is like the battle against the solo Dreki, except one is regular and one is lightning empowered. Focus on one Dreki at a time, it is up to you which you prefer to deal with first but I dealt with the regular one. Fortunately with Freya present you don’t really need to worry about both Drekis focusing on you at once, so you can focus one without too much concern for the second Dreki.
Employ the same strategies that you did with the solo Dreki fight, dodging or blocking the regular attacks and dodging the spit attacks when at range. Occasionally one of the Drekis will hide in the water and start spitting at you, so during this time you will need to focus on the second Dreki.
Once the Drekis are dead, interact with the boat.
This finishes Freya’s Missing Peace Side Quest in God of War Ragnarok.

Courage says
There are vines in front of the rune lock next to where the chalice was, what do I do?
PowerPyx says
Do you mean next to the Mystic Gateway what’s blocking the river to row your boat? In that case you must interact with the Celestial Altar to switch from night to day to open up the river.
If you mean the items Freya picks up within Vanir Shrine (there are some vines/green walls next to those), just standing in front of them until Freya comes to cast magic is enough. She removes those green walls within Vanir Shrine but she’s a bit slow to do it sometimes.
Hamdini says
Same issue here where she doesn’t remove the vines on the right side, did you happen to find a fix?
Hamdini says
Were you ever able to get around this as I’m experiencing the same issue? Even left for 20 mins I she still didn’t open it
Carlos says
My stupid game is glitched and Freya won’t open the vines to get to the second rune marker. She only does the one on the left side, won’t do the right side. Anyone else have this problem? Have a fix???
Shane says
omg! I came back to do this only at chapter 15.
Freya is not with me. I cant move the vines out of the way!
HELP!!!
