Gotham Knights has 42 Historia Strigidae Page Locations. Finding all Historia Strigidae unlocks the Read Owl About It trophy and achievement. They become available after finishing Main Case 02: The Rabbit Hole. Their locations are indicated by glowing white triangles that you can spot with your scanner. Then you have to find a white “x” icon on a wall to find the Historia Strigidae Page.
None of the Historia Strigidae are missable. You can still get all of them after the story in free-roam. The collectible progress also carries over into New Game+.
You can keep track of which districts you completed by scrolling over them on the map. In the bottom right corner it shows the 4 collectible icons. If you found all of a type in that district, it gets a green checkmark. This way you know you got everything. You can also keep track of your total count under Challenges > Collectibles. The individual pages can be checked under Database > Collections > Historia Strigidae. They reveal more about the Court of Owls history. Note: if you look under Database > Collections, it will show up to 48 Historia Pages but there are only 42 collectable ones in the game, the reason is that some of them unlock multiple database entries.
The white “x” spot that holds the Historia Page is often on a roof, not at the street level. When you approach the wall with the “x” you must hold / to retrieve the page. Then it counts as collected.

Bristol
Historia Strigidae #1: Will be marked by white icon on your map after Main Case 02: The Rabbit Hole. Check for the white “x” between two crypts, at the graveyard.
Historia Strigidae #2: Behind the crypt on the little roof.
Historia Strigidae #3: Under bridge, on the scaffolding.
Robinson Park
Historia Strigidae #4: Along the path that goes under a bridge (bottom area of Robinson Park).
Gotham Heights
Historia Strigidae #5: On a wall behind a bench. Must climb the bench to interact with it (don’t climb the wall behind/above).
Historia Strigidae #6: On top of the Souvenir shop (the lower roof of the two).
Historia Strigidae #7: On a balcony of the church.
West End
Historia Strigidae #8: On a rooftop, in a wall next to a white graffiti that says “Fraud!”.
Historia Strigidae #9: On the balcony of a building by the water.
Historia Strigidae #10: In the corner of a roof that has white graffiti “Warky”.
Historia Strigidae #11: Outside the church, at street level.
Historia Strigidae #12: On a roof close to bridge.
Otisburg
Historia Strigidae #13: At construction site on blue container.
Historia Strigidae #14: Climb the roof of the church. Between the roof of the church and the next skyscraper is another roof, there you can find it in the wall of the skyscraper. It’s a roof near the street level, not very high up.
Bowery
Historia Strigidae #15: On a rooftop with a water tank on it, in the wall next to white graffiti that says “Tapta”. (Note: this is right ob the border between Otisburg and Bowery, so the map may show it as Otisburg but it counts towards Bowery)
Historia Strigidae #16: High up on a roof, in between a white graffiti that says “Help?”.
Historia Strigidae #17: On the wall of a red brick stone building, back of the building near the water.
Historia Strigidae #18: At Cape Carmine drop down the south side to reach cliffs by the water, it’s in the rock wall.
Historia Strigidae #19: Across from “Deeply Fishy” shop, up the stairs, in the wall at street level.
Tricorner Island
Historia Strigidae #20: Under a bridge, quite well hidden behind some vegetation in the dark. Hard to see it.
Historia Strigidae #21: In the south section of Fort Dumas you can walk through a corridor, there you find the History Page in the wall.
Historia Strigidae #22: Well hidden in a wall behind blue metal beams.
Old Gotham
Historia Strigidae #23: On a roof near the cathedral.
Historia Strigidae #24: On a roof under a very big/tall water tank. Look out for the water tank as your reference point.
Historia Strigidae #25: Halfway up a building on a roof (the building has two roofs, it’s on the lower one).
Historia Strigidae #26: At the edge of a roof terrace.
Historia Strigidae #27: At street level in a yard between houses.
Historia Strigidae #28: Same place where you entered the Powers Club in Main Case 02.
Financial District
Historia Strigidae #29: Behind a building, near the water, check the wall.
Historia Strigidae #30: On a small roof near the street level.
Historia Strigidae #31: On Blackgate Island, follow the same path you took during Main Case 01 when you went to see Harley Quinn. At the coast outside the prison you can find it on a rocky wall.
Historia Strigidae #32: At Edward Elliot Center climb the first roof, look behind the big monument overlooking the main entrance.
Historia Strigidae #33: This one is well hidden. You must drop through an open roof of a building (see 3rd image, the map image shows the exact point of the roof access where you must start). After dropping down you come to a sewers section, head through the first door and then left. When entering the next room go straight ahead and use grappling hook to pull yourself through the small sewage tunnel straight ahead. In the next room immediately on the left you find the Historia page in the wall.
Historia Strigidae #34: From the street level, look for a shop with a red neon sign that says “Diner”. On the first roof immediately above it, check the wall in the corner of that roof (not the roofs further above, it’s the lowest roof nearest to the street).
The Cauldron
Historia Strigidae #35: Climb the fenced area and drop down behind the fence. This leads to a secret tunnel. Immediately after dropping down, on the right side of the tunnel is the Historia page in the wall (only a few short steps after dropping down).
Historia Strigidae #36: This one is underground in a tunnel section. See the 3rd image below for the entrance (the map image shows the entrance location). Enter, go through the first two tunnels leading down. After the 2nd tunnel immediately turn left to check the wall.
Historia Strigidae #37: At “Paris Island” halfway up a tower.
Historia Strigidae #38: Halfway up between two houses is a little roof, there you find it inside the wall. It’s at about the same height as the bridge. You can use the bridge/highway as your reference point. There is also a basketball court immediately below it with a kids wall drawing of blue sky and sun and flowers. When looking at the kids wall drawing from the basketball court, it’s right above it.
Southside
Historia Strigidae #39: On the roof of building that has big “Dry Cleaner” neon sign. (Note: it may show as The Cauldron on the map when standing right in front of it but the game counts it towards the completion in Southside)
Historia Strigidae #40: Near the top of a skyscraper, just one balcony floor below the top. It’s to the left of a potted plant (little green bush).
Historia Strigidae #41: Behind the neon sign of “Koul Brau” Factory, on the wall on the rooftop.
Historia Strigidae #42: On the roof, behind the wall facing the street on that roof.
That’s all 42 of the mythical Historia Strigidae Pages in Gotham Knights. After finding them all you will earn the Read Owl About It trophy or achievement.

Is this bugged for anyone else I’ve gone to all the areas in the Bowery but still says I’m missing one?
Jason says
Mine says I still have one in Southside, although I collected them all. Did you find a fix for this?
PowerPyx says
#39 seems to actually count towards Southside, but showed as The Cauldron for me on the map. I’ll move that to the start of Southside. Try if that fixes the issue for you.
HaugachakaMan says
Same here! Any news on this?
Jason says
Yeas, I’m having the same problem with that exact location and specific page. I’ve tried restarting the game and even switching characters but still unable to get this one page to count.
Deano says
Thank you PP, I enjoyed this game but finding all of the Strigidae was frying my Freaking brain. Couldn’t have got this plat without this guide. ??
Cory says
This is by far the best one to look at. All the others require watching and following along with Youtube videos or just show you pictures of where they are. The map locations are key to figuring out where it is, and then the pictures that show the location dial it in.
Thanks for all the detailed work it took to make a complete guide like this.
Killbomb says
Thanks for the guide. These are some of the most annoying collectibles I’ve encountered especially without a guide.
Richie Rich says
You went above and beyond!!! The map pictures coupled with the picture of the exact location is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for reading my mind!
Is there a way to donate to you for the time you spent on this?
