Introduction
Welcome to the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Trophy Guide! On your path to platinum, the main task will be to reach level 50 in multiplayer. All other online trophies can be done along the way and are straightforward and easy. Unlike the last Star Wars game, there is actually a full offline campaign this time. Nearly half the trophies are tied to the campaign. You get one trophy per mission just for completing it (difficulty doesn’t matter). There are collectibles but they aren’t needed for anything so you can skip them. The campaign is short, it takes roughly 5 hours. Most time will be spent in multiplayer in order to reach level 50.
Step 1: Campaign
There is one automatic trophy tied to each chapter. Simply complete the story on any difficulty (easy will do) to get the 13 automatic story trophies. There are also 4 miscellaneous trophies that can be done in the campaign. Watch out for the following 4 trophies along the way (can get them via mission select at any time):
- Dark Forces (Mission 1: The Cleaner)
- Balance Point (Mission 2: The Battle of Endor)
- Master of Deception (Mission 5: The Storm)
- X-wing vs. TIE Fighter (Mission 11: The Battle of Jakku)
That’s all for the campaign. Just complete it on easy and get those 4 trophies.
Step 2: Arcade (Battle Scenarios)
Go to Main Menu > Play > Arcade > Solo > Battle Scenarios.
There are 16 Battle Scenarios (8 Light Side + 8 Dark Side). You only need to do the first 1-star version of each scenario. The 2-star & 3-star versions are not required and can be skipped.
It takes 1 hour to complete them all. The task is always the same: kill a certain amount of enemies in a predefined time frame. You’ll also get to play the different heroes & villains here so it’s great practice for the multiplayer.
Step 3: Multiplayer
This is the big part for platinum. Luckily, the trophies aren’t too difficult, just time consuming. Reaching level 50 is the main objective. Start by winning a match in each mode. This will unlock 6 quick trophies (1 trophy per mode just for winning the match).
There are also 4 trophies tied to the infantry classes and their special abilities:
- Assault: Defeat 3 enemies within one Vanguard usage 5 times
- Heavy: Defeat 150 enemies with the Heavy’s Sentry Gun
- Officer: Boost 100 allies with the Officer commands
- Specialist: Get 25 headshots with longblaster rifles
Play with each class to get those trophies out of the way.
Then you also need to unlock all the heroes for trophy “Do. Or Do Not. There is no Try.”. There are 14 heroes. You already have 8 unlocked when the game starts. The remaining 6 need to be bought with credits (all of them combined cost 65,000 Credits). Do not waste your credits on Supply Crates and Starcards. Focus on unlocking the heroes first. Getting 65,000 credits will take 15-20 hours, you’ll get more than enough on the path to level 50. Another time consuming trophy requires you to get 500 kills with heroes, so be sure to always trade your points for hero spawns in online matches.
The game mode “Starfighter Assault” also has many trophies tied to it. There’s one trophy per type of starship. So don’t just play one mode the entire time, do some Starfighter Assault to get those trophies & milestones.
To sum up the Multiplayer: the trophies are like basic tutorials of all the available modes, classes, starships and heroes. It’s a mix of everything the Multiplayer has to offer.

Balance Point In the campaign, eliminate five enemies at once using the Barrage. |
![]() |
Mission 2: The Battle of Endor After a mid-mission cutscene (after completing the main objectives in the starting area), you will see some enemies in front of a bunker. Inside the bunker you’ll find the “Barrage” in a weapon box. It looks like a grenade launcher. Pick it up and press D-Pad Left to equip it. Now move on to the next main objective (which is to kill a bunch of enemies in the woods). There will be lots of enemies spawning close together. It’s easy to kill 5 of them with one hit. However, for the trophy you only need to kill 5 enemies total with 3 shots (not with one single shot). The Barrage has 3 shots. Restart the checkpoint if you need another try. |
||
![]() |
X-wing vs. TIE Fighter In the campaign, destroy eight starfighters in the skies of Jakku. |
![]() |
Mission 11: The Battle of Jakku At the very start of mission 11 you will be flying an X-Wing. There are lots of TIE Fighters (enemy airships) flying in the sky. Simply shoot down 8 of them, easy peasy. |
||
![]() |
Master of Deception In the campaign, eliminate a Scout Trooper with Iden’s melee takedown. |
![]() |
Mission 5: The Storm This can be done during the third enemy encounter of mission 5. There will be one enemy sniper in the area (= Scout). Scouts carry a sniper rifle and have darker armor than other enemies. You must kill the sniper with a stealth melee attack from behind. This does not work if the enemies have noticed you, it has to be a stealth kill. Just watch where the sniper goes and hide behind cover until he stops walking. Then sneak up on him to do the stealth kill (press R3). |

A Job Well Done Complete 25 Multiplayer Milestones. |
![]() |
This trophy unlocks automatically on your path to level 50.
There are a total of 174 Milestones: 27 Multiplayer Milestones, 72 Trooper Milestones, 42 Hero Milestones, 33 Starfighter Milestones. All of them count towards this trophy. To see them go to Main Menu > Career. You need to complete 25 of 174 Milestones listed in the 4 online categories. They are actually very easy tasks, most of which will come naturally over time as you play the game (repetitive things like killing 500 enemies). Luckily, it tracks your exact progress so you can see how many kills you have for everything. After completing a milestone you can go to the career menu to exchange it for a reward (crystals, credits or crafting materials). They are fairly self-explanatory once you’ve played a match of each mode. Just play the game and you’ll automatically unlock 25 Milestones without ever looking at them. The trophy unlocks immediately after completing the 25th milestone, you don’t have to redeem them in the career menu. |
||

The Force is Strong With This One Reach Rank 50. |
![]() |
Awarded for reaching level 50 in Multiplayer. You earn XP for pretty much anything you do (kills, doing objectives, assists, sacrificing yourself to save team members, winning matches). This is the most time consuming trophy in the game by far. Just keep playing Multiplayer and work on other trophies along the way. It takes roughly 100-150 hours. The fastest way to gain XP is by playing Heroes vs. Villains.
You can check your current level in the Career screen of the Main Menu. |
||
![]() |
Not All Miss In multiplayer, defeat 3 enemies within one Vanguard usage 5 times. |
![]() |
“Vanguard” is the special ability of the Assault class. You activate it with ![]() ![]() It’s best done in Blast matches. These take place in close quarters on the smallest maps. Killing enemies with the shotgun is really easy in this mode. Try to ambush enemies from behind. In this mode they often come in groups so if you ambush them you can easily wipe out entire squads within seconds. The star card “Killstreak Vanguard” makes this easier. It replenishes your active time when you defeat an enemy with vanguard (by up to 55%). You can craft it in the Collection menu using crafting materials. You can track the progress via milestones. Go to Main Menu > Collection > Milestones Troopers > Assault Vanguard Medal (Defeat 3 Enemies within one Vanguard usage 5 times). |
||
![]() |
A Dominating Presence In multiplayer, boost 100 allies with the Officer commands. |
![]() |
“Battle Command” is the special ability of the Officer Class. You activate it with ![]() ![]() You can track the progress via milestones. Go to Main Menu > Collection > Milestones Troopers > Field Commander (Boost 100 Allies with the Officer’s battle commands). |
||
![]() |
Sentry Mode Engaged In multiplayer, defeat 150 enemies with the Heavy’s Sentry Gun. |
![]() |
“Sentry Gun” is the special ability of the Heavy class. You activate it with ![]() ![]() You can track the progress via milestones. Go to Main Menu > Collection > Milestones Troopers > Hold The Enemy Back. |
||
![]() |
Scoped In multiplayer, get 25 headshots with longblaster rifles. |
![]() |
This can be done with the Specialist Class (Sniper) in the multiplayer modes Galactic Assault, Strike, Blast.
Longblaster Rifles are Sniper Rifles. The Specialist Class has 4 Sniper Rifles:
You must kill 25 enemies with headshots using any of these sniper rifles. |
||
![]() |
The Interceptor Get 20 Killstreaks with Interceptor ships. |
![]() |
Can be done in multiplayer game mode “Starfighter Assault”. In this mode you can choose from 3 types of ships: Fighter, Interceptor, Bomber. Use an interceptor ship and kill two enemies in one life to get a killstreak. Do this 20 times.
![]() |
The Bomber Defeat 50 enemies using Dual Proton Torpedoes with the Bomber ship class. |
![]() |
Can be done in multiplayer game mode “Starfighter Assault”. Use a Bomber ship and kill 50 enemies using the Dual Proton Torpedo ability (press ![]() ![]() To make this easier you should craft the star cards “Advanced Torpedos” for up to 40% damage increase and “Targeting Computer” for decreasing the lock-on time by up to 50%. You can craft star cards in the Collection screen of the Main Menu. You can track the progress via milestones. Go to Main Menu > Collection > Starfighters > Lock On Target (Defeat 50 Enemies using Dual Proton Torpedoes with the Bomber ship class). |
||
![]() |
Multi-tasking Defeat 25 Hero ships with Fighter ships. |
![]() |
Can be done in multiplayer game mode “Starfighter Assault”. This is a bit random as players won’t be using Hero ships all the time. Players can use Hero Ships after having earned a certain amount of points over the course of the match. Hero ships are special types of spacecraft, they look different from the “normal” starships (e.g. one is designed like a UFO). The best strategy is to always play as a Fighter ship. When you’re the defender, fly around the defense objective and shoot down enemy aircraft. As the match progresses people will be using Hero ships more often so focus your fire on those special ships. When you’re the attacker, ignore the key objective and just focus on killing the enemy team. About halfway through the match people will use their hero ships quite frequently. You can shoot down a few of them per match.
To make this easier you should craft star cards for your fighter ship. This can be done in the Collection screen of the Main Menu. They increase the damage / defense of your ship. You can track the progress via milestones. Go to Main Menu > Collection > Starfighters > Take Out The Leader (Defeat 25 Hero ships with the Fighter ship class). |
||
![]() |
Complete Your Training Complete all unique Battle Scenarios. |
![]() |
This can be done in Arcade mode by beating all 1-star Battle Scenarios.
Main Menu > Play > Arcade > Solo > Battle Scenarios. There are 16 Battle Scenarios in total (8 Light Side + 8 Dark Side). You only need to do the first 1-star version of each scenario. The 2-star & 3-star versions are not required and can be skipped. It takes 1 hour to complete them all. They are very easy challenges. All you have to do is kill a certain amount of enemies in a predefined time frame. You’ll also get to play all the heroes here so it’s great practice for the multiplayer. |
||
![]() |
There is No Such Thing As Luck Engage in an Arcade match. |
![]() |
Win any arcade match for this. It will unlock automatically as you go for the trophy “Complete Your Training”.
Main Menu > Play > Arcade > Solo > Battle Scenarios. Play one scenario and the trophy will unlock. Note: the Arcade matches that are available while the game is installing / downloading do not count. Only after the full game has been installed you can enter the “real” Arcade mode and earn this trophy. |
||
![]() |
Ignore Your Instincts At Your Peril Destroy 25 objectives in Starfighter Assault. |
![]() |
In the Starfighter Assault Multiplayer Mode, you must be on the attacking team and destroy 25 objectives. They have red markers on them so they’re very easy to see (they are your main objectives, destroying all of them will win the match). Since they are the main task this will come pretty much automatically. Just focus on those marked objectives and ignore enemy players. It doesn’t matter what type of ship you use for this.
![]() |
What a Blast Win a match of Blast. |
![]() |
Win one match in the “Blast” multiplayer mode. Main Menu > Multiplayer > Blast. This game mode takes place in close quarters 10 vs. 10. Both teams have a limited amount of lives. The team with the most kills wins.
![]() |
Strike Back Win a match of Strike. |
![]() |
Win one match in the “Strike” multiplayer mode. Main Menu > Multiplayer > Strike. It’s an 8 vs. 8 game mode that is objective based. You either have to do the objectives or hold off the enemy team from completing them.
![]() |
Battle Beyond the Stars Win a match of Galactic Assault. |
![]() |
Win one match in the “Galactic Assault” multiplayer mode. Main Menu > Multiplayer > Galactic Assault. It’s a 20 vs. 20 objective based game mode. On the attacking team you must capture objectives. On the defending team you must kill a certain number of enemies before they can capture the objectives.
![]() |
Choose Your Path While being marked, defeat 50 enemies in Heroes Vs Villains. |
![]() |
The official trophy description is wrong / misleading. It only counts kills on enemy targets (not the 3 unmarked enemies) while you’re a target yourself!
This can be done in multiplayer game mode “Heroes vs. Villains”. One member of each team gets marked as the target. Killing that targeted player earns a point. The first team to get 10 points wins (i.e. kill 10 targeted players). During the match you too will become the marked/targeted player, usually 2-4 times per match. When this happens it says “You will be the next target”. While you’re the active target it says “You are the target” at the top of the screen. For this trophy, when you are the marked player, you must kill the other team’s marked player a total of 50 times. It does not count kills on unmarked enemies of the opposite team (must be the 1 targeted player). It also doesn’t count kills while you aren’t a target yourself. Pick a Hero you are comfortable with and don’t rush to the marked enemy alone. Try to stick with your team. I prefer Kylo Ren or Darth Maul when playing the Dark Side. Kylo is the best character in my opinion. He can freeze enemies, jump towards them or pull enemies all while dealing massive lightsaber damage. When you freeze an enemy and do lightsaber attacks it’s always a certain kill (abilities can further be upgraded with starcards). On the Light Side I prefer Rey, her Mind Trick ability is really good and she deals a lot of damage with the lightsaber. Give all Heroes/Villains a try to see which one works best for you. This is one of the more time consuming trophies. Keep playing this mode and remember to kill the marked enemy target whenever you’re the marked/targeted player yourself (kill a total of 50 marked players while you’re also the target). |
||
![]() |
Quick Strike Be the first one to defeat an enemy in a multiplayer match. |
![]() |
Self-explanatory. In any type of multiplayer match, be the first player to earn a kill. You have to rush into the enemy groups quickly. Throwing an explosive grenade with the heavy or assault class usually works well. On your way to level 50 you’ll be playing lots of matches so you have plenty of opportunities to get this done.
![]() |
Heavy is the Hand Win a match of Heroes vs Villains. |
![]() |
Win one match in the “Heroes vs. Villains” multiplayer mode. Main Menu > Multiplayer > Heroes vs. Villains. It’s a 4 vs. 4 game mode using Heroes/Villains only. One member of each team gets marked as the target. Killing that targeted player earns a point. The first team to get 10 points wins. Stick close to your team and when you’re the marked player hang back and don’t get killed by the enemy.
![]() |
Do. Or Do Not. There is no Try. Play as all heroes in Multiplayer. |
![]() |
Not all heroes are unlocked from the start. There are 14 heroes in total. You have 8 unlocked by default and 6 you need to unlock yourself. Unlocking heroes costs credits. You earn credits by playing multiplayer, arcade and by redeeming completed Milestones (go to Main Menu > Career > Milestones > press ![]() The heroes you need to unlock are:
So in total you need to spend 65,000 Credits to get all of them. Don’t waste all your credits on Supply Crates. Try to unlock the heroes first. On your way to level 50 you will earn way more credits than needed. Earning 65,000 isn’t too bad thanks to all the milestone rewards. You can get that much money in 15-20 hours of playtime. Once you have all heroes unlocked, use all of them in multiplayer matches. The easiest way is to play Heroes vs. Villains. |
||
![]() |
A Galaxy at War Win one match in each Multiplayer game mode. |
![]() |
There are 5 multiplayer game modes. Each one has an individual trophy for winning the match. So winning a match in each mode will earn you 5 trophies + “A Galaxy at War” trophy for winning all of them.
The game modes are:
This trophy is known to be glitchy (same for the achievement on Xbox One). If you have the 5 individual trophies for winning each mode but not this one, you must win the modes again. Sometimes the tracker doesn’t properly update. Just go through them again and it should pop. |
||
![]() |
We are the Spark Defeat 500 enemies as a hero on any Multiplayer map. |
![]() |
This counts your kill as a hero across all modes. In “Galactic Assault” or “Strike” mode, you can buy Heroes after having reached a certain amount of points in that match. Then kill normal enemies with the hero. In Hero vs. Villain you will always be playing a Hero so it counts every kill you do in that mode. However, you have fewer opponents in Hero vs. Villain and they are Heroes themselves, thus harder to defeat. In all likelihood this will come naturally on your path to level 50. Luckily it counts your Hero kills from all game modes (including Hero vs. Villain).
You can track the progress via milestones. Go to Main Menu > Collection > Milestones Multiplayer > Annihilation (Defeat 500 Enemies as a Hero on any Multiplayer map). |
Matt says
Nice to know that “A Job Well Done” pulls from ALL the milestones in the game, and not just multiplayer, which there are only 27.
Awesome0ne93 says
Wicked man glad this time i’ll be able to get platinum,good guide man early too
chrisvpatterson says
The multitasking isnt tracked by the “take out the leader” milestone. The milestone says hero ships destroyed by darth mauls ship. Is this a mistype? or can the trophy be done with hero ships? Ive tried with normal ships but get assist every dang time.
chrisvpatterson says
im an idiot, but so is DIce, there are two milestones with the same name!
PowerPyx says
Didn’t realize that two milestones have the same name, that’s misleading indeed. I’ll add a note about that in the guide, thanks for reporting 🙂
Tristen Howard says
Do assist eliminations count for choose your path?
PowerPyx says
Yes but the tracking is a bit glitchy on this trophy. A friend of mine had to do way more kills while being marked before it popped. Just beware it can take a little bit longer but it’ll unlock eventually.
azcolgatewhite says
PowerPoint are you sure? And could be as Dingus says? I mean that only targets killed count.
Awesome0ne93 says
Looking for a team that could help with ‘ not all miss’ I’ve beem trying and I rekonn I’m not going to be able to do it 5 times can only get 2 kills man, just need 4 people and me and my bro could help add me on ps4 The_Awesome0ne93
Awesome0ne93 says
Itw fine it’s actually easier than I though
Dingus says
Choose your path is wrong.
You have to killed 50 Targets, while you are marked.
Not just any random opponents. It has to be the target.
Dingus says
Sorry for bad english.
You have to KILL 50 Targets, while you are marked.
So yes, this will be a very long grind, very very long.
PowerPyx says
Thanks, I think you are totally right about that. Talked to some friends and checked their trophy screenshots. In every case the trophy popped when killing the target player of the opposite team while being targeted yourself. This explains why the trophy took so much grinding for some people to unlock. So basically, kills on the 3 unmarked enemies don’t count at all. It only counts the targeted enemy and it only works when you’re also a marked target (which happens 2-4 times per match). So you can maybe get 2 or so kills towards this trophy per match if you’re a good player and really focusing on it. The trophy guide has been updated to reflect on this new info.
Dingus says
I believe half to be luck as well, because I think you have to get the kill.
I do not think that assist eliminations count.
Majoreasykill says
Is there any way to track marked kills in heroes vs villans
Dingus says
Nope Major, there is no where to check…It sucks
Also, as a side note. I can confirm that getting Elimitation Assists on Hero ships does not count. You need the final blow, which also sucks.
AL says
For Sentry Mode Engaged trophy, the tracking thing “Hold The Enemy Back” in game only tracks up to 50….is it only me? or you guys seeing 50 as well?
Tristen Howard says
Yea it’s only up to 50. Kind of just tells you you’re a 3rd done.
Dingus says
A tip for those who don’t like Starfighter Assault.
Start every match using a Bomber if they’re available and work towards your 50 kills with the dual protons.
When the top enemy players have 2-3k points, switch to the Xwing/Tie since they maneuver better…and focus on hero ship kills for the rest of the match.
Both of these are quite grindy and it’s best to do both in one go.
Dingus says
Sentry Mode Engaged tracking is kinda wrong. You need 150 for the trophy, the tracking under milestones only goes to 50. So, you can;t really fully track it, only part ways.
chrisvpatterson says
Down to my last trophy, reach level 50….. I have sunk over 40 hours and im only lv 28. Anyone else thin it takes too long to level up?
Martin says
„A Job Well Done„ doesn‘t work, i‘ve got 38 Milestones but i don‘t have get the trophy… ???♂️
Tristen Howard says
It’s multiplayer specific milestones. So campaign, and arcade and such don’t count.
For example, multiple tab, troopers, starfighters, heroes, all count
Max Greenberg says
You have to have 25 MULTIPLAYER milestones not 25 random ones.
Pedro says
Great guide! Do assists really count for Choose Your Path?
Pedro says
And what about Multi-tasking?
Tristen Howard says
No, they don’t for either unfortunately, at least in my expierence
Phil says
Can you boost multi tasking ? I’m a good pilot but I hate when other players take my kills.
Jacob says
Hey, do hero ships count in “we are spark?”
Jacob says
Also, slight correction, in the “annihilation” one, heavy reinforcements don’t count

Shakaa800 says
Anyone want to farm the co op trophies add me shakaa800
Alien-the-king says
Just so you guys know, Co-op counts for the trophies as well. So the kill 500 enemies as a hero and all of the multiplayer trophies count on co-op. If you play it right you can do the 500 enemies with a hero in only a couple matches. Plus the XP gained from co-op is insane. I run heavy and just use the sentry gun and mow down enemies and on some maps get 60k XP. Especially on weekends and Wednesday it’s crazy stupid XP.
