Last Victim
[CAMPAIGN] Scan 30 hidden hand prints.
There are a total of 30 hand prints in Resident Evil Revelations. Scanning all of them will earn you the “Last Victim” trophy / achievement. There is no in-game collectible tracker and no chapter select! So make sure you collect all hand prints in correct order without missing any of them.
The Pool Is Open
[CAMPAIGN] Swim in the Solarium.
Location: Episode 3-2 & 4-1
The first step for this trophy / achievement is to activate the purification apparatus in Episode 3-2. The pool and apparatus are both located in the Solarium. The solarium can be entered from the top floor of the “Hall” area. You cannot swim in the pool unless it is clean. So it’s crucial to activate the apparatus. Later on, in Episode 4-1 you can revisit the area and the pool will be clean. Jump in and the trophy / achievement will unlock.
By the Crosshairs
[CAMPAIGN] Defeat Rachael before she gets to the cafeteria.
Location: Episode 4-1
During Episode 4-1 you will find Rachael in the “Crew Quarters” area. She is part of the main objective and cannot be missed. You have to defeat her very quickly before she gets to the room with the purple glowing vending machine. It’s crucial that you have some good weapons, such as the Rifle. You should find the Rifle in Episode 3-2 (it’s very hard to miss). The MP5 can be found in Episode 4-1, in a side room just before getting to Rachael.
Throw lots of grenades at Rachel and when she goes down, shoot her with your best weapons. You might also want to lure her away from the air vents, so she cannot get away that quickly. Aim for the legs when she tries to run away. There’s also a checkpoint right before the Rachael fight. So feel free to restart if she reaches the cafeteria.
Rockets are for Losers
[CAMPAIGN] Defeat a Malacoda without using a rocket launcher.
Location: Episode 11-1
All you need is a strong sniper rifle with full ammo. To win this boss fight you need to destroy the Malacoda’s tentacles. Always attack the dark purple tentacles on the right side. Do not use any of the rocket launchers from the wooden boxes! Stick to your normal weapons and keep shooting the tentacles until the Malacoda dies.
Living on the Edge
[CAMPAIGN] Stop an enemy bullet with your knife.
Location: Episode 3-2
A great place (and also the earliest chance) to get this is in the Lower Cabins area of Episode 3-2. In the big dining hall is a Tricorne Ooze (clawed zombie). It will shoot projectiles at you. The term “bullet” in the trophy descriptions is actually a bit misleading. Counter one of these projectiles with a well timed melee attack. Press R1 (PS3) or RT (X360) to perform such a counter, just a second before the projectile is hitting you.
Die Another Day
[CAMPAIGN] Evade a Scagdead’s instant-death attack.
Location: Episode 3-2
You will encounter a Scagdead on the Promenade Deck in Episode 3-2. You cannot miss this enemy, it’s part of the main objective. It will appear after shooting the lock of a door. Just stand in front of the Scagdead and wait for it to attack. You will see a short animation when it’s about to attack. That’s when you need to press the left stick and X (PS3) / A (X360). There is a checkpoint right before fighting the Scagdead, so you won’t lose much progress if you die.
Triple Play
[CAMPAIGN] Defeat 3 enemies with one shock grenade.
Location: Episode 5-2
This can be done in the “Bilge Block” area of Episode 5-2. After pulling the first lever to deactivate the steam, you will have to go through a flooded area with some piranha-like creatures. After coming out of the water and going up the stairs, there is a wooden crate with a shock grenade inside. Destroy the crate and pick up the shock grenade. Wait for some of the piranhas to jump up the stairs and throw the shock grenade at them. The blast has to kill three at once. You can also try to lure them back into the water first. The shock grenade will be more effective in water. There’s also a checkpoint right before the flooded piranha area. So feel free to restart the checkpoint if the grenade doesn’t kill three enemies at once.
