Vangrinn contains 12 Mysteries in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV). This Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Vangrinn Mysteries Walkthrough will guide you through all Mystery Locations in the Vangrinn Territory. None of the Mysteries are missable. This region is part of the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC expansion.
Mysteries get marked by blue icons on the world map automatically when synchronizing the viewpoints. Mysteries are side quests and other open world encounters. They include the following types: World Events, Dwarven Altars, Mythical Memories and Dwarves in Distress. Finishing all Mysteries in Dawn of Ragnarok is needed to complete all Territories for the “Over the Hills…” trophy or achievement.

Mystery #1: Dwarf in Distress
Defeat the Muspel and Jotun enemies, then talk to the dwarf to complete this mystery.
Mystery #2: World Event (Take My Chest Away)
At the location, talk to the dwarf and then grab his basket from the cart. Carry the basket past the nearby lake until you reach an open-air cave with a crevice on the left wall you can crouch through. Place the basket among the flowers. Now return to the dwarf to complete this Mystery.
Mystery #3: Dwarven Altar
You need 2 Lynx Paws to complete this Mystery. After playing through the main story and the two other DLCs, these should already be in your Inventory.
Mystery #4: Mythical Memory
Approach the anvil to watch this Mythical Memory and complete the Mystery.
Mystery #5: Dwarf in Distress
Defeat the Muspel and Jotun enemies, then talk to the dwarf to complete this mystery.
Mystery #6: Dwarven Altar
You need 5 Wolf Claws to complete this Mystery. After playing through the main story and the two other DLCs, these should already be in your Inventory.
Mystery #7: Dwarf in Distress
Defeat the Jotun enemies disguised as bears, then talk to the dwarf to complete this mystery.
Mystery #8: World Event (Not Today, Jotun!)
As you approach this Mystery’s location, a dwarf named Banski will run away from you thinking you’re a Jotun. Follow him down below through the big hole in the ground. Once underground, use the Power of Jotunheim to teleport into the next room. In this room, dispose of the rats by sending them into the sewer crate and then move the platform forward to enter a new room. Eventually you’ll have to move some more platforms to go back up and reunite with Banski. Talk to him to complete this Mystery.
Mystery #9: Mythical Memory
Approach the anvil to watch this Mythical Memory and complete the Mystery.
Mystery #10: Dwarven Altar
You need 6 Silica to complete this Mystery. If you’ve been pillaging the mills so far, you should probably have enough to complete this Mystery. If not, return here when you have the required offering amount.
Mystery #11: Dwarf in Distress
Defeat the Jotun enemies, then talk to the dwarf to complete this mystery.
Mystery #12: World Event (The Seed of Travi)
At the location, talk to the dwarf. He’ll ask you to recover his hammer which is found in the middle of the small lava lake nearby. Grab it and return it to him. You’ll then somehow wake up in a prison cell. To unlock the door, approach the Jotun guard by one of the prison cell windows to steal the key. Then, unlock the door, kill the guard and then recover your gear and armor. Eventually, you’ll have to make it out of a cave by crossing a small river of lava. This ends the Mystery.
