South Park: The Fractured But Whole – Scavenger Hunt: Big Gay Al’s Big Gay Cats

Scavenger Hunt: Big Gay Al’s Big Gay Cats is a Collectible Side Quest in South Park: The Fractured But Whole. This walkthrough reveals all Cat locations required to complete the quest.

Throughout the game you may notice a few stray cats in South Park. Those belong to Big Gay Al, who lives in the red house east of The Playground.

You can unlock this Side Quest after the Story Mission in the police department (3rd night in the game). He will ask you to find his stray kittens and will also give you hints where to find them through his Coonstagram posts from time to time.

There are six kittens which you will have to find in order to complete his quest. The first one called Big Gay Blossom, can be found in SoDoSoPa homeless camp area, which you passed through in the 2nd night of the game during the Story Mission including Professor Chaos.

In order to reach this cat, you will have to call Kyle (Human Kite) and use his Fatkour skill by scanning the little fan on the ruined building using    and choosing the Kite symbol. Completing the Fartkour in both directions will also grant you the Divine Wind trophy.

The second Cat called Big Gay Shadow is located on the street in front of Bijou Cinema (after switching the screen to the next area). You can’t approach the cat directly or it will run away. To catch it, you will have to use your TimeFart Pause Skill by holding & and pressing the Analog Sticks toward each other. This skill will stop time and you can easily grab the cat.

Big Gay Kirby can be found on a tree next to Bebe’s House, which is the red one west-most of all the houses in your neighborhood. You will have to use your firecrackers by aiming with and pressing on the branch and once the branch is destroyed and the cat on the ground, once again use your TimeFart Pause to capture it.

If you have already destroyed the branch before the quest, you can restore it using TimeFart Glitch by holding & and both Analog Sticks pointing to the left.

Located directly next to the ruins of South Park Mall you can find Big Gay Loki waiting for you to be captured. Just like before you will have to use TimeFart Pause in order to capture it.

You can find Big Gay Bono on a tree just next to the Fast Travel west of the Church. Same combination as for the cat in front of Bebe’s house works here as well. Firecrackers – TimeFart Pause and TimeFart Glitch in case the branch has been destroyed beforehand.

The last one called Big Gay Bogie will require to get past the old Farmer on the Hillvale Farm in the north-east corner of the map. He will block your way and not let you get past him, no matter what you do. That’s why you have to trick him.

Next to him you can find a crate with Memberberries.  Use TimeFart Pause to place the crate either left or right of the farmer, so he can’t move any longer. While he is blocked, you can pass him and get to the woods leading to Canadian Wall. To capture the cat once again use the Firecracker, TimeFart Pause combination.

After collecting all six cats return to Big Gay Al to claim your reward and complete the Big Gay Al’s Big Gay Cats Scavenger Hunt.
