Dishonored: Death of the Outsider – Alvaro and the Abbey Contract Guide

Alvaro and the Abbey is a contract in Mission 4 of Dishonored Death of the Outsider.

From the beginning of the mission, you have to kill every overseer and every sister you come across. It is critical that you start doing this from the beginning of the mission, because the last thing you want is to be trying to go back over your own trail looking for that one person who’s unconscious instead of dead. It takes a lot longer than you might think. Start with the basement entrance, below and to the right of the main entrance and work your way up.

Anyhow, after killing everyone outside, in the basement, and first three floors, follow the waypoint towards the Curator’s Office. as you climb the stairs, you will hear a sister telling Alvaro that Sister Rosewyn wants to speak with him. He’s in the middle of an experiment, so he will shoo her away and continue his work. As she leaves, kill her and hide her body away from the staircase. Alvaro is so engrossed in his work, that its easy to come up behind him and use Semblance to knock him unconscious. Quickly move to where Sister Rosewyn is and speak to her (earning you The Face of the Abbey trophy), and she will give you the Silvergraph you need for the mission. Once she does, it’s open season. Kill the six other sisters in this area and Sister Rosewyn, and if you’ve gotten everyone you should only have one more thing to do.

Grab the unconscious Alvaro, go back down the staircase by the elevator all the way to the basement and follow the waypoint to the “musical chair” where you will be prompted to strap him in. If you’ve managed to kill everyone, this should give you the contract complete notice. If not, go back over your path and pile up all your bodies in one place on each floor so that you know when you run across one that you haven’t validated yet. Use Foresight to save yourself some time looking for them. Don’t forget to check outside the Royal Conservatory, along the street and pathway beneath the main entrance. Also remember to check the tavern across from your starting location. There are three overseers up there as well.

Once Alvaro is in the chair, and everyone is dead you will get the contract complete notice.
