Dying Light 2 How to Reach 2nd Map Central Loop

Dying Light 2 Stay Human (DL2) is split into two maps: Old Villedor & Central Loop.

You start out in Old Villedor. You gain access to the world map after the prologue, until then the menu option for it will be grayed out. You will notice there’s a 2nd map when you scroll to the south-east (bottom right).

Here’s how you can reach the 2nd map “Central Loop”, which is where the skyscrapers are and you can fly around with the Paraglider there:

1. Finish the 10th Main Story Quest “Let’s Waltz”.
2. This will automatically bring you to the 2nd map “Central Loop”.

As part of the story you’ll be going through a tunnel section in the south of Old Villedor. This is closed off until the story makes you go there, can’t go there any earlier. This will then lead you to the 2nd map.
