Kidnap the Bartender is a contract in Mission 2 of Dishonored Death of the Outsider.
Note: You won’t start mission 2 with any contracts. Follow the Black Market waypoint marker to locate the contracts board straight ahead from the entrance.
Kidnap the Bartender Walkthrough
Continue the main story until you get the “Eyeless Motif” tattoo, and then use it to enter the Spector Club. Inside, you’ll find four or five eyeless and the Bartender. If you’re going for stealth, you’ll have your work cut out for you, as most of the patrons of the bar can be seen by at least one other in the area. Using the metronomes around the edge of the area, and careful assassinations you may be able to do it, but in the end you may have to get messy to get things done. Just make sure that you do not accidentally kill the bartender, otherwise the mission will be a failure.
After you manage to incapacitate the bartender, the next hurdle will be getting him back to the roof of the Red Camellia. The easiest way is by liberal use of the Displace ability. Once outside the front doors of the club (carrying the bartender), place a marker on the second floor of the Spector Club and warp to it, then warp to the lamp posts in the middle of the street. Displace to the next lamp post to the left, and again to the platform around the large redwood tree. From here, look across the street and Displace through the open window into a small library. On the other side of this room, climb out the window onto the ledge outside, and look to the right. Displace to the nearby lamp post to the right, then up to the roof of the Red Camellia. The blue coffin-like crate will be directly in front of you. Approach it, and your screen will go black momentarily. When you can see again, the bartender will be in the crate and your mission will be complete.

That’s the hard way. The second double doors past the CAMELIA entrance has stairs that go up thrre.
Easier to use the chloroform bottles from the room upstairs to gas everyone
