Sherlock Holmes Chapter One The Scapegoat Walkthrough

The Scapegoat is a Police Case in Sherlock Holmes Chapter One. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Scapegoat side quest.

Starting Borough: Scaladio
Starting Location: Cordona Police Station
Quest Giver: Quest Board inside Police Station, to the left of the entrance
Requirement: Complete 4th Police Case What Was Did In The Shadows
Reward: 20 Money, Child’s Play
Case Info: Four persons were arrested for theft, property damage, and debauchery. The four comprised of three women dressed in robes and animals masks, and a priest.

Starting Location: The Scapegoat

The Scapegoat Police Case starts in Borough: Scaladio, Place: Cordona Police Station.

Enter the police station, look to the left after entering and you’ll see a quest board. Interact with it to start “The Scapegoat” case.

Case Location (Forest Ruins)

The crime scene is at the Forest Ruins, west of the Cemetery in Miner’s End borough. As usual there’s a policeman there and clue markers on the ground.

Case Solution (Clues)

Interact with each of the police markers on the ground to collect the evidence. There’s a necklace in the bushes that you need to rotate and interact with but the rest has no objects and only requires one simple interaction. Don’t forget about the remains of the goat on the altar, which is the only one without a blue marker on the floor.

When all evidence is collected, interact with the white bubble to start the reconstruction.

Reconstruction

Reconstruct everything exactly as shown in the images below, going from the first marker on the ground to the last in order. Pay attention to the facemask of the individuals, that’s the important thing here.

After this is done, hold / to validate.

What happened: There were three lusty women engaged in the ritual. They are drinking and dancing when suddenly they hear a noise from the bushes. Their ritual seems to be working, there’s a man they can get drunk already. While two of them are busy with the priest, the third one leaves. She (wearing the feather mask) is the one who stole the goat and brought it to the ritual. The poor animal smells trouble and charges at the drunken woman with the amphora. Still, he couldn’t break free and at the end was brutally torn apart and eaten alive.

Return to Police Station

Return to the clerk at the police station to report your findings. This time he automatically starts the next case immediately, called “Plan Bee”, which is the last police case. At this point you should also receive the Child’s Play trophy / achievement.
