Taro’s Tree contains 14 Collectible Locations in Kena Bridge of Spirits. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in Taro’s Tree Region in chronological order. - 4 Hats
- 2 Flower Shrines
- 0 Spirit Mail
- 0 Cursed Chests
- 1 Meditation Spots
This guide is intended for use AFTER the story. During the story some regions can’t be fully explored on first visit and some Rots and Hats are story-related rewards from later on. Nothing is missable, you can return everywhere. After finishing the story you will be put back in the Title Screen and can click Continue to spawn before the final cutscene. From there you can keep searching for Collectibles. After the story you will have all abilities and access to all map areas, so you will be able to reach all Collectibles. On the map there’s a collectible counter for each region that tracks how many collectibles you found of each type, except for Meditation Spots which aren’t tracked.
For all other Regions, see Kena Bridge of Spirits Collectible Guide.
#1 – Rot 1/7
Shortly after leaving the Village and venturing into Taro’s Tree, you’ll have to cleanse a corrupted area and release a Forest Tear. Once you have, send your Rot onto it and guide the spirit to the stack of leaves on the right, then press to dispose of it. Here you’ll reveal a log under which is this Rot.
#2 – Flower Shrine 1/2
Go through the big gate and you’ll find this Flower Shrine on the left of the new area. Guide the spirit onto the corruption to cleanse it. Should you need it, you can find the Tear inside a bucket by the water on the right.
#3 – Rot Hat (Bow) 1/4
Continue forward and you’ll eventually find a corrupted house on your right. Send the spirit from the middle of the area to it. Then, enter the house to open the chest and collect this Rot Hat.
#4 – Rot 2/7
From where you are, retrace your steps to the middle of the area. Send the spirit to the nearby cave and cleanse the corruption. Now enter and use by the stones to reveal this Rot.
#5 – Rot 3/7
Continue forward and as soon as you reach the new main area with the tall trees, take a sharp right, continue past the Forest Tear and drop down from the log to reveal this Rot under a log by some violet mushrooms.
#6 – Flower Shrine 2/2
This collectible requires the bow weapon from Rusu Mountain (unmissable, story-related). Once you have the bow return to the main forest in this area. Very close to the entrance to the forest, left of where you came from, is a trunk with a crystal you can shoot. The crystal is facing the overlook. Shoot a crystal and you’ll see a trail (white sparkles in air) leading you to the next crystal. Keep shooting all crystals until you reveal the Forest Tear. Now, summon the spirit and guide it where you started this challenge. Near here you will find the Flower Shrine to cleanse.
#7 – Rot 4/7
All the way to the other side of the forest, basically left of the way you came in from, you should see a purple fruit hanging from a trunk. Below it is this Rot sitting on a rock, as usual press to reveal it.
#8 – Rot 5/7
Turn around from where you are and you’ll find this Rot by a rock near the overlook.
#9 – Rot Hat (Butterfly) 2/4
This collectible requires the bow weapon from Rusu Mountain (unmissable, story-related). In the same area with the tall trees you should be able to find a flower you can grapple onto near the overlook. This will send you to a new location with a chest. Inside the chest is this Rot Hat.
#10 – Meditation Spot 1/1
Immediately in front of you after beating Corrupted Taro.
#11 – Rot 6/7
This collectible requires the bow weapon from Rusu Mountain (unmissable, story-related). In the same area with the Meditation Spot, look for an old, fallen log you can walk on. Now, look up and you should see a flower you can grapple onto. Climb the ledges and continue platform all the way to the back. We’re basically where the start of the forest with the tall trees is. Here, under a lantern, is this Rot.
#12 – Rot Hat (Fox) 3/4
This Hat is given to you upon discovering the Rot Hat Cart in this region.
#13 – Rot 7/7
Eventually you will walk onto a giant fallen trunk. Instead of continuing forward, drop down at the end of the fallen trunk to find this Rot by a rock on the ground.
#14 – Rot Hat (Taro’s Mask) 4/4
Automatically given to you after defeating Corrupted Taro as part of the story.
That’s 100% of the collectibles you can find in Taro’s Tree area in Kena Bridge of Spirits.

So for whatever reason, I collected all 7 Rots but it’s showing 6/7 on the map. Should I be worried?

Did the same for me
