Tormented Souls has 32 Diary Entry Locations, divided into 4 diaries with 8 entries each. Finding all Diary Entries unlocks the following trophies:
Love- Dedication
- Redemption
- Suffering
LoveThese appear as open books found throughout the game. You are able to backtrack through the whole game so you cannot miss any Diary Entries, however keep in mind that if you try to backtrack from the final save point in the Graveyard, you will not be able to return there to finish the game. Therefore if you need to backtrack for anything, do so from the second last save point in Bunker 2C, or simply reload your save afterwards. There are also two duplicate Diary Entries (2x William’s Diary 02 and 2x Bertram’s Diary 08). You only need one of these to unlock the respective trophies.
This guide will be written in the most optimal order for collecting Diary Entries while playing through the game. Some locations have different names depending on whether looking at the map or the name that appears when you enter the room. For consistency, this guide will use the names displayed on the map where possible.
Depending on which patch you play this game on, you may find that certain sections of this guide do not match. That is because some items were moved around, and even some rooms changed entirely, in the early patches. This is especially noticeable between 1.00 and 1.01. This guide is accurate as of patch 1.03.
Beginning
William’s Diary 03 – Private Bathroom
Found in the locker of the room where you begin the game.
Maria’s Diary A – East Wing Corridor
Next to the door to the Pharmacy in E-F1.
Maria’s Diary B – X-Ray Room
In the X-Ray Room in the Basement where you meet the priest, sitting in a tray down the corridor.
William’s Diary 01 – Dentist Room
In the Dentist Room in E-F1, sitting on a bench opposite the x-rays.
Main Hall
Maria’s Diary F – West Corridor
In West Corridor in W-F1, on a table outside the door to Studio.
Anna’s Diary 02 – West Bathroom
In West Bathroom in W-F1, sitting on a toilet in a cubicle.

In the Sewing Room in E-F2, sitting on the fireplace mantelpiece.

In the Dining Room in E-F2 where you meet the priest a second time, sitting on a small table next to the door.

After using VHS Tape (Experiment Room) to return to the past, you’ll find this on a table.

Found inside the cell in Experiment Room, after opening it in the past.
