Reward: 241 XP / 541 Street Cred / €$2780
Mission Info: Ah, Santo Domingo! The eternal fountain of shit where the only sure thing was you’d eventually step on the toes of some hot-blooded jarhead with “6th Street” tattooed on his ass. You win this race, V, you show them who’s in charge around here. You got a good shot too – I don’t see this Claire slowing down until she reaches the finals.

- Call Claire To Start The Race
- Sit On The Bench And Wait For Claire
- Talk To Claire
- Get In Your Vehicle
- Finish The Race
- Stop At The Finish Line
- Talk To Claire
- Sit By Claire
This quest is part of a longer questline:
- The Beast In Me: City Center
- The Beast In Me: Badlands
- The Beast In Me: Santo Domingo
- The Beast In Me: The Big Race
- The Beast In Me (Conclusion)
Starting Location: The Beast In Me: Santo Domingo
Head To The Santo Domingo Race
Make your way to the location above and head to the bench, just by the road.
Call Claire To Start The Race
Next pull up your phone by holding down: and choosing to call Claire to get the location of the race. You can choose your car or hers. For this race, it’s best to choose yours.
Sit On The Bench And Wait For Claire
Sit on the bench at this location to skip time forward and assemble the racers.
Talk To Claire
Head on over to Claire who is standing opposite you and talk with her to begin the race. Your dialogue choices here don’t matter so choose whatever you like.
Take The Shard
Pick up the shard from Claire’s hand to see the checkpoints on the race.
Get In Your Vehicle
Head on over to your vehicle and get in to begin the race.
Finish The Race
This race is quite tricky as it is filled with tight corners. You will want to take what you learned in the City Center race and apply it here but to a higher degree. Opponents shouldn’t be of concern and your main focus should be on nailing corners and not crashing, which should allow you to take a podium place.
Follow the waypoints and hit all the checkpoints, which have a forgiving cone. Try to maintain a balance between speed and safety, slowing down when a lot of racers are by you or if you are taking a corner. If you lose traction, take your foot off the accelerator and readjust yourself.
Talk To Claire
Chat with Claire who will tell you to carry on past the finish line and pull up ahead. Once she gets out the car exit it yourself.
Sit By Claire
Head on over to Claire who is sitting on the ledge and she will tell you that she wants to kill her Husband’s killer Sampson in the final race. You will be given three options at the end of the conversation which will change how the final race plays out.
Choosing the last option “Sorry, Claire, but I can’t help” will end this questline here and you will not get the final part of The Beast In Me quest. The first two options will allow you to continue the quest and race in the final.
Dialogue:
- Bastard won’t finish the race alive. > if you help her, she will gift you her car as a reward (best choice)
- My priority’s winning. > if you don’t help her kill Sampson, you miss out on her car
- Sorry, Claire, but I can’t help. > questline ends here
Once Claire has finished talking, stand up to complete the mission.
This finishes The Beast In Me: Santo Domingo side quest job in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). Continue with the next quest The Beast In Me: The Big Race.

“My priority’s winning” should be marked as the best choice here, as it gives you the option of sparing Sampson and still gets you Claire’s car if you do.

I confirmed it worked Clare is disappointed she didn’t kill dean but she still gives the truck to you as a reward as for the car that also checks out I got a text about roughly a week later from dean saying that his car just got repaired and it’s your for the taking as a reward
