You can keep track of your collectible progress in chapter select. There’s a collectible counter for each chapter. The treasures can also be tracked in the pause menu.
After getting a collectible it will be saved instantly. You don’t need to reach the next checkpoint and can quit out of the chapter right away.
All progress carries over to the next playthrough and you can get missing collectibles via chapter select at any time.
The treasures are glittering items hidden around the game world, the Journal Entries require you to inspect certain objects (a few come from conversations), the Journal Notes are found from skeletons mostly and the Optional Conversations are from talking to your buddies (an icon will show up over their head).
None of the collectibles are found during enemy encounters. They are all in areas without enemies.

Chapter 2:
Treasure #1 (Panamanian Cat Pendant)
After the prison guard brings you outside, you are supposed to pick up a rope. Where you find the rope there’s a hole in the ground (like an underground prison cell). Down in the hole is the first treasure.
Treasure #2 (Navaja Folding Knife)
This one is in the old tower you have to climb. When you enter the tower for the very first time, look behind a pillar. Same room has a note on a table. This is the room where you have to pull some rubble with the rope
Chapter 3:
Treasure #3 (Antique Padlock)
When the mission starts, swim to the right immediately. There is a broken tree trunk in the water. Below it is the treasure.
Treasure #4 (Chiriqui Shark Trinket)
From the previous treasure keep swimming along the right side. Just a few seconds later you can see a cave. Inside the cave is the treasure.
Treasure #5 (Antique Pocketwatch)
Where you find the container swim to the right of the area. Behind some seaweed there’s a treasure on a rock. Ascend to see it glitter.
Conversation #1
After leaving the underwater section you’re on a boat. By the extracted container is a worker you can talk to.
Conversation #2

Chapter 6:
Treasure #7 (Mughal Water Container)
This is on top of the cliff, just half a minute into this chapter
Treasure #8 (Nephrite Brass Cup)
Found in the area with the citrus trees, in the window of a building.
Conversation #3
Also in the citrus tree area. Just walk around the area and it will trigger.
Conversation #4
Shortly after the last conversation you must use a rope to progress. After that Sam walks near you and a conversation pop-up will appear. Just stay close to him after the rope swing.
Treasure #9 (Viking Cloak Clasp)
After a cutscene Nathan will have a suit on and you’ll be at a gala. Turn around from where you start and enter the room behind you. There on a shelf is a treasure.
Treasure #10 (Mother of Peal Horn)
On the balcony very close to the previous treasure (top floor of the gala). Check on the right side of the balcony.
Conversation #5
Same balcony as the last treasure. Talk to Sam in the middle of the balcony.
Treasure #11 (Persian Bronze Bowl)
This one is in the pantry. You get here after stealing the keycard from a waiter. Look behind a crate to the left of the pantry exit. Hard to see because it’s tucked away in the corner of the room.
Treasure #12 (Brass Barber’s Bowl)
Just after leaving the pantry you have to go downstairs. At the bottom of the stairs is a treasure.
Treasure #13 (Syrian Vase)
After crawling through the air vents you come to a garden area with a locked gate. Here you can jump down the railing on the left and drop to the area below. In order to get back up you must climb a ladder and go over some rooftops. Up here on the first rooftop is a treasure.
Treasure #14 (Persian Candlestick)
Just after the previous treasure Sam will drop down a ladder for you. Go up the ladder and climb the structure on the left. MAKE A BACKUP SAVE GAME HERE! From the structure you need to jump to a balcony on the right. If you miss this jump there’s no way to go back – you’d have to replay the entire chapter. So create another save game in case you miss the jump. The treasure is on that balcony.
Treasure #15 (Mughal Dagger)
When swinging across some poles you will see a short cutscene where Nathan is about to fall off. He drops to a dark muddy area below and you regain control of him. Swing across the pole in front of you. Then instead of climbing up the wall like you’re supposed to, hang down the cliff and climb to the right (where you came from). Treasure is on a ledge.
Chapter 7:
No Collectibles in this chapter!
Chapter 8:
Treasure #16 (Redware and Silver Jug Flask)
From the starting point of this chapter, head up the hill on the left. There’s a treasure in the snow. Just a few meters/yards from the mission start.
Treasure #17 (Bronze Boar)
Again in the starting area. From where you picked up the previous treasure, head down the hill and into the little cave by cliff side. Treasure is in the cave.
Treasure #18 (Caved Wood Kashkul)
After encountering the first wave of enemies in this chapter you must drop down a little hill. Keep walking downhill and look on the right side by the cliff. The treasure is here on the edge of the area.
Treasure #19 (Carved Nut Bottle)
Same area as the previous treasure. You will have to blow open two doors with dynamite and push a yellow crate. After climbing the crate you can see some wooden boxes on the left, blocking the entrance to a cave. Destroy these wooden boxes with dynamite or by shooting at them. Then go inside the cave to pick up the treasure.
Treasure #20 (Traveling Inkwell with Seal)
You’ll come to an area where you have to slide down gravel to reach a wall on the other side. Use the pole to jump across the chasm. Now you can drop down the edge to reach a hidden area below. This one is easy to miss.
Treasure #21 (Carved Ivory Vanitas)
After all the gravel slides you will finally reach the hilltop. Slide down the left side and after a rope jump you see a locked gate in front of you. Don’t interact with it yet! Instead, climb the wall to the left of the gate. On top you can find the treasure in front of an old statue.
Journal Entry #1
This is in the graveyard. Near the entrance of the graveyard there’s an open grave with 2 skeletons in it. Inspect them for the very first Journal Entry in the game.
Note #1
You will be tasked with finding a certain grave stone. After finding it, the entrance to hidden catacombs opens up. In the first room of the catacombs is a note on the floor.
Treasure #22 (Scottish Ha’Penny)
This is in the catacombs, to the left of the 3 crucifixes.
Conversation #6
Inspect the 3 crucifixes in the catacombs. Doing so will let you trigger a conversation with Sam.
Journal Entry #2
After solving the light beam puzzle in the catacombs you can trigger an optional conversation with Sam while he stands in front of a door. After the conversation you get the entry.
Conversation #7
After solving the light beam puzzle in the catacombs you can trigger an optional conversation with Sam while he stands in front of a door. After the conversation you also get a journal entry.
Treasure #23 (Slipjoin Clasp Knife)
After leaving the catacombs make your way past the enemies in the graveyard. Open the graveyard gate and continue to the next area. Here you encounter a new group of enemies. In a cave in the lower part of the area is a treasure.
Treasure #24 (Pewter Singing Bird Box)
Same area as the previous treasure. Also in a cave, but in the upper part of the area after clearing out the enemies (before using rope to go up the wall).
Treasure #25 (Tortoise Shell Snuff Box)
After a lengthy climbing section Sam will pull you up a cliff. He climbed up another way than you did. You have to backtrack the way he took. So after he pulls you up, go down the left side of the Cliff where Sam was climbing. Climb as far back down as you can. Then you reach a platform which holds the treasure.
Treasure #26 (Persian Tailoring Scissors)
You will come to a part where you have to balance over some wooden beams. Below you is water and a broken pirate ship. Once you jump from the beams to a wooden platform, the platform will crumble. Nathan scribbles something into his notebook now. When he does, there is a staircase in front of him. Below the staircase in a dark corner is the last treasure of this chapter.
Chapter 9:
Journal Entry #3
Once the mission starts you have to interact with the cage right in front of you. Almost impossible to miss. The cage counts as a journal entry.
Treasure #27 (Lantern Mounted Flintlock)
From where the chapter starts go down the path and turn around. There’s a little cave here. This is just 10 seconds away from the chapter start, before going over the hanging bridge.
Journal Entry #4
After solving the wheel puzzle with the water bucket and 3 crosses you must stick your hand in a contraption by the door. After the cutscene finishes you must inspect that same contraption again to get the journal entry.
Conversation #8
In the area after the wheel puzzle, go up the cliff on the left side and enjoy the view for a few seconds. Then Sam will join you and trigger a conversation.
Treasure #28 (Strange Pendant)
In the area after the wheel puzzle. Jump down the cliff on the right side and use the rope mid-air, then swing to a platform with a skeleton on it. The treasure is here. You can also climb down the cliff and attach the rope from there (safer but slower than jumping). The treasure itself is actually a “The Last of Us” easter egg. It shows a firefly pendant. The fireflies are a faction in The Last of Us.
Treasure #29 (Amatory Box)
From the last treasure go back the way you came. Now follow Sam and do a rope swing to drop to an area in front of you. On the left of that area is a wall you can climb down. On the ledge is a treasure.
Treasure #30 (Pewter Box)
After a cutscene with Nadine you come to an area with a broken nun statue in a side room. Behind the statue is the treasure. You must crouch under the statue to reach it.
Treasure #31 (Memento Mori Skull Watch)
You get to a part where you have to find a crate and push it to a wall to proceed. After climbing the wall you will enter an area from earlier in the chapter. Now you can climb down to your right to find this treasure sitting on a ledge. You may have noticed its sparkle when you passed by earlier.
Treasure #32 (Scottish Tipstaff)
Very shortly after the previous treasure you come to a broken bridge. Attach your rope to the box on the right of the bridge and pull yourself up. Now look behind the wooden items in the corner.
Note #2
From the last treasure get to the other side of the bridge by attaching your rope to the box. Now just follow the path (you can only go one way, drop down). Here, in the remains of a skeleton, is the note collectible. You’ll run straight into this, hard to miss.
Chapter 10:
Treasure #33 (Sawasa Ware Tobacco Box)
Near start of chapter, at the first ruin. The treasure is on top of the ruin.
Treasure #34 (Eroded Flintlock Pistol)
Behind the waterfall. Use rope to pull down the crate, then push the crate to the other side and climb it to find a treasure on top.
Note #3
Also behind waterfall, sitting right next to the treasure.
Journal Entry #5
After driving up some mud you will come to a point where you have to leave the truck in order to progress. Sam also leaves the truck here. Go up the stairs and into the ruins of an old tower. In the middle of the tower is a symbol on the ground you can investigate. Doing so unlocks the journal note.
Treasure #35 (Mughal Ivory Powder Flask)
Same area as the journal note, in the old tower ruins. Climb up the ruins and onto the wooden platform (you can climb from inside the tower). Up there is a treasure.
Treasure #36 (Parchment Scroll)
A little bit after using the car winch at the tree you must drive down a muddy hill. There’re some ruins at the bottom. On a wooden box in the ruins is a treasure.
Treasure #37 (Ancient Fertility Idol)
Just after the last treasure you jump down a little ledge with your car. Drive straight to the end of that area. There’s a rock blocking your way. Exit the car and climb over the rock. Behind it is a hidden area with a treasure on the left. (This is before the area with the snipers on the old tower).
Journal Entry #6 – This is in the area with the sniper on the old tower (first enemy encounter in this chapter). There’s a door with dynamite on it. Blow up the door (hit dynamite switch or shoot it). Behind is a secret room with a sigil on the floor. Investigate the sigil.
Treasure #38 (Pocket Celestial Map)
This is after the area with the snipers on the old tower. You have to pull down a bridge with your car’s winch. Keep driving until you come to a small ruin. On top of the ruin is a treasure.
Treasure #39 (English Ale Bottle)
You now come to a very large area. There are some ruins to the left of that area. Park your car in front of the ruin to climb it. Then blow up the powder kegs on top. Drop down into the building to find the first treasure of this area.
Treasure #40 (Pewter Letter Cylinder)
Same area as before, the big open desert area. This time you want to check the far right side of the area. There’s a dry well here. Climb down and take the car’s winch with you. Attach it to an old piece of wood down in the well. Sully will drive the car and pull down the wood. Now you can climb the piece of wood to jump to a side area with the treasure.
Note #4
Down in the well where you picked up the last treasure. On a skeleton. The well area is quite small so you shouldn’t have much trouble locating it.
Treasure #41 (Mughal Box)
Get out of the well, get in your car and drive up the hill. You will want to stick to the left side of the hill. There is a mountain with a man-made stone pillar (NOT THE TOWER ON THE RIGHT HILL). There are only a few of those stone pillars on the far left side of the area, so you should find them easily. Drive or walk to the top of the mountain with the stone pillar. On top there’s a ruin (you can’t see it from below). In the ruin is a treasure. This is before going to the beacon / watch tower on the right side of the hill. If you go too far you can’t go back. Create a manual save if you are unsure.
Treasure #42 (English Musket Bandoller)
Same area as before, but on the far right side of the hill. You can see dark smoke in the sky. Go to where the smoke is – behind a tunnel is an old destroyed village. There are enemies here. In the middle of the village is a sealed well and an explosive barrel next to it. Shoot the barrel to get access to the well. Down in the well is a treasure.
Treasure #43 (Antique Tea Tin)
We are still in the hill area. Get out of the well from the last collectible, back into your car and drive all the way up the hill (don’t go to the beacon objective yet). At the very top of the hill drive to the left. Here is another hidden village. Clear out the enemies and hit the dynamite switch. This will blow open a door to a building. Inside is a treasure.
Journal Entry #7
On the hilltop look at the beacon and press triangle when the button-prompt is shown. The beacon is marked as your objective, so this is almost impossible to miss.
Conversation #9
While standing under the beacon tower, talk to Sam.
Conversation #10
While standing under the beacon tower, talk to Sully.
Treasure #44 (Scottish Two Pence Coin)
This is on top of the beacon (hilltop). You must climb it.
Journal Entry #8
You’ll come to an area with a second tower/beacon. Inspect the floor of that tower to get the entry.
Treasure #45 (Scottish Snuff Mull)
This is at the third tower/beacon. On a crate to the left of the tower (before going underground / before opening gate by the tower).
Treasure #46 (Brass And Ivory Tankard)
This is in the underground area below the third tower. You have to blow up a wall to progress. Then you must use a wheel to pull up a gate. In the room behind that gate are two treasures close together! First one is behind some boxes on the left wall. It’s tucked between a box and the wall, hard to see.
Treasure #47 (Muff Pistol)
Same room as before. There are 3 wooden crates on the right side of the room. Blow them up with a grenade (or shoot them with firearms). Inside the wooden crates is a treasure.
Chapter 11:
Treasure #48 (Earthenware Mug)
From the starting point of the chapter, go down the stairs and to the far left of the area. There’s a dark alley. At the end of the alley is a treasure.
Treasure #49 (“Antique” Compass)
Also in the starting area. Stick to the right side and find a vendor that has a triangle prompt. You will inspect a compass he offers. Inspect it again to buy it – this counts as a treasure.
Conversation #11
Pet the Lemur and at the end of the market. It will climb on your shoulder and Sully says “Rabies Nate”. Walk towards Sully with the Lemur on your shoulder. This will trigger a conversation.
Treasure #50 (Nephrite and Jade Bowl)
After dropping into the church via a broken window. In the first room you’re in it’s on one of the statues at a wall.
Treasure #51 (Ivory Handle Dagger)
On top of the bell tower. Before interacting with the big bell (main objective), climb up the tower. On the top platform is a treasure. The exact location of this treasure can vary – either on the left or right of that the platform. It’s always on the same platform.
Treasure #52 (Brass Globe Hand Warmer)
After the bell falls down and you are reunited with Sully, check the rubble from the bell. The treasure is in the rubble.
Chapter 12:
Journal Entry #9
From the starting point drive straight to the island in front of you. There is a wooden cross in the sand that you can inspect for a journal entry.
Note #5
Same place as the previous journal entry. The note is in a small cave near the wooden cross.
Treasure #53 (Combination Lock Tobacco Box)
Get back in your boat and drive along the left side of the island. There is a place with lots of plants where you can go ashore. Search here by some broken crates.
Note #6
To the left of this chapter’s starting point is a small island with a broken pirate ship in the water. There are also a bunch of wooden crates on the island. By one of the crates is the last journal note of this chapter.
Journal Entry #10
Same place as the previous note, on the island with the broken pirate ship. The ships mast is sticking out of the water. Stand on the island and look at it. Then you can press the triangle-button prompt for a journal entry.
Treasure #54 (Brass Pocket Sundial)
Same area as previous collectible. Dive down into the broken pirate ship. Inside is a treasure (underwater).
Journal Entry #11
Look for a skeleton on a spike, on the island with the tower (main objective). The skeleton is down at the beach.
Treasure #55 (Silver and Wood Tankard)
From the last journal entry turn to your right. There’s a rock with a small dark cave under it. The treasure is here (we’re still at the beach of the island with the tower).
Treasure #56 (Persian Silver Pen Box)
Also at the beach of the tower island. Just a few meters/yards away from the last treasure there’s a bigger cave. It’s at the end of the beach. In that cave is a treasure.
Treasure #57 (Panamanian Pendant)
Get back in your boat and drive to the backside of the tower island. You can go ashore here to pick up the treasure collectible.
Treasure #58 (Persian Leather Notebook Case)
This one’s a bit tricky. From the previous treasure get back in your boat and drive to the island with the 2 rock arches on the back. Between the 2 rock arches you must park your boat by the cliff. Climb the roof of your boat and jump from the roof to the cliff. Now you can climb up the cliff and find a treasure on top.
Treasure #59 (Deccani Bronze Spouted Bowl)
After following the arrows you come to a cave. Climb up the wall and use the rope to progress to the next area. Here you see a temple in front of you. To the right is a collectible inside a cave.
Treasure #60 (Mughal Elephant Carving)
When the rope bridge breaks, climb up and jump to the other side. Look in the dark cave to find a treasure.
Conversation #12
After reaching the other side of the rope bridge, go up the cliff by the rope. Stand there for a moment and enjoy the beautiful view to trigger a conversation with Sam.
Treasure #61 (Ottoman Helmet)
You will come to a tower (main objective, unmissable). In the tower is a treasure.
Treasure #62 (Decanni Bronze Vase)
From the tower use the rope to jump to the other side. You must land on the rock, if you swing too far you will land in the mud and miss this treasure. From the rock hang onto the wall and climb around it. Pull yourself up to find a treasure in the bushes (you can’t see it sparkle because the grass is covering it).
Treasure #63 (Strange Relic)
The famous strange relic is back! Slide down the mud and make a left. Climb up the wall. Now look for a big stone bowl on a hill a bit further away. You must make a far jump and use the rope mid-air, then swing over to that bowl. On it is the strange relic. Easy to miss this one because it’s really far off.
Journal Entry #12
Go back the way you came (to the mud slide). There are a bunch of pirate statues around the abyss. Climb down on the side of the mud and look at the statue with the rope thing sticking out. Press triangle when it shows the button prompt and an entry will be added to your journal.
Treasure #64 (Hamsa Mythical Goose)
Same area as last journal entry. Attach your rope to the statue on the left. Now swing onto that same statue. There is a treasure here at the statue. Very easy to miss this one if you rappel down before picking it up.
Journal Entry #13
Rappel down and go into the side room with books and papers in it. There’s a table in the middle with some miniature buildings. Inspect the table.
Conversation #13
Inspect every object in the room with the books / papers / wall pictures (press triangle button). After you’ve done that, go to the next room (supply room) and inspect the table. This should trigger a conversation. Sometimes if Sam is too far away it won’t trigger. In that case restart the checkpoint and inspect everything again.
Treasure #65 (Pique Tortoise Shell Box)
Same area as entry. Swim around the room. There’s a treasure next to the old tree.
Journal Entry #14
At the very end of the chapter you have to return to the island with the tower (where you went earlier). Now there’s a statue of a pirate you can inspect with the triangle button-prompt. This statue is the main objective. Inspect it from the front before climbing it.

Treasure #67 (Wood Tankard)
You will come to a point where you must use a rope to swing past a waterfall. This treasure is in the cave behind the waterfall.
Journal Entry #15
Also in the cave behind the waterfall. Almost impossible to miss. Look for a skeleton on a wall. You will walk right into it after climbing a rock.
Treasure #68 (Spy Glass)
After the journal entry you must slide down some gravel and make a jump. Now you go into a flooded cave. On the left is the collectible.
Note #7
Exit the flooded cave and search for the note on the left side of the road.
Journal Entry #16
From the previous note look up and inspect the skeleton hanging over the road.
Note #8

After reuniting with Sam you have to crouch under a building. On the right side there’s an opening in a wall. Crouch through there and to the area below. Down there is a treasure. You’ve gone too far when Sam says “It’s good to stretch out again” (in that case just turn around and crouch back under the building).
Chapter 14:

Journal Entry #18
Inspect the tomb stone to the right of the stables.
Treasure #72 (Muhgal Vase)
In the shop behind the tomb stone (leaving the starting area).
Journal Entry #19
Inspect the back of the pirate statue next to the prison.

In one of the prison cells.
Treasure #74 (Painted Copper Bottle)
In the dark cave. After climbing the ladder go to the end of the tunnel to your right.

Treasure #75 (Mughal Jade Bottle)
After picking up the note leave the building and climb up the wall on the left. There’s a treasure on a ledge.
Treasure #76 (Slipjoint Claspknife)
After a few enemy encounters you must climb an old tower. To jump from the tower to the other side you must use a rope. Now, before you move further towards the villa, jump down the abyss on the right and use your rope. It will let you swing into an opening at the back of the building. There’s a treasure here, a bit tricky to reach and easy to miss this one.
Treasure #77 (Large Bronze Boar)
You will approach a villa. After climbing through a broken window you must use the rope to swing to the other side. There’s a small room in front of you after the rope swing. Inside is a treasure. You know when you’ve gone too far when you reach a mud slide.

Your page is ok for a few min then it’s covered with advertisers vids that I can’t x out of. The few times I do get to close it they pop back up a few secs later, specifically the tanning lotion one. It makes the whole thing unreadable. Likely lose lots of readers from those. Drop the pop up adverts n ur page would be good . Popped up over 10x writing this alone

This is definitely not meant to happen. I’ll do my best to replicate the error and fix it. Must be a bug somewhere. Thanks for reporting this! Rest assured this will be fixed. I’m very sorry for any inconvenience.

Did anybody else notice that the name on the Strange (Firefly) Pendant, “Druckley,” is an combination of the names of the two Game Directors, Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley?
