Nier Automata How to Save Game

Here’s how to save your game progress in Nier Automata:

First of all, remember that this game doesn’t auto-save. You need to activate access points (terminals) in order to save. Once you activate the terminal you can save from anywhere nearby so long as you’re within range. When there’s a connection icon displayed on the top right of your screen, you can go to the System Menu and quick save (press Options-Button). You can also use the access point to return to the orbiting space station, your hub area.

In the space station hub area you can save any time you want.

To use access points you must free them from enemies. They are marked on the map and there’s usually a small group of enemies near them. Interact with the terminal and it will be unlocked permanently. Some terminals are also found in settlements. There are no terminals in the prologue.

Don’t forget: there’s no auto-saving!
