God of War Arcane Armor Set Location (Foothills)

This God of War Guide shows where to find the Arcane Armor Set Location exclusively collected in the Foothills Region. Unlike other armor sets it cannot be crafted, the only way to get it is to find it in the game world. All 3 parts are found in red chests and only in the Foothills Region.

None of these are missable. You can get all pieces after the story in free-roam.

Arcane Waist Guard

At the start of the foothills area just in front of Sindri’s Shop you can see a poison keg hanging in the air between some rocks (Screenshot #2 in red circle). Throw the axe at it to freeze the poison. The Arcane Waist guard is in the red chest where the poison was.

Arcane Bracers

From the last armor piece climb up the first wall in the Foothills. At the top you can see the path splitting up. Straight ahead is a poisoned area with the red chest (Screenshot #2, chest circled red). Just like before, throw the axe to freeze the poison (Screenshot #3). Then you can open the red chest for the Arcane Bracers.

Arcane Shoulder Wraps

The last piece of the set is yet again in a red chest, further up the hill. From the last one continue on the main path and climb the next wall up the hill. There’s a big gate leading out to the mountain (Screenshot #2). To the left of the gate is the red chest. There’s some rubble there when you first visit this area. You can blow it up by throwing the axe at the red explosive kegs, thus revealing the red chests that contains the Arcane Shoulder Wraps.
