Find Amanda:
- Find Magic Stone: From your starting position, go left along the edge of the pond until you find a circular archway on the left side of the path. Interact with it to activate the node.
- Check the Graves: If Connor has died at least once, from your starting position, go right along the edge of the pond until you find a path leading to a small graveyard on the right side of the path. Interact with it/them to activate the node.
- Find Amanda: In the center of the pond is an island linked to the edges by bridges. Go to the center to find Amanda tending to her roses.
- Talk With Amanda:
- If you managed to find the deviant in Partners, and successfully interrogate it in The Interrogation without getting killed, Amanda will comment that you have been remarkably efficient. Amanda▲▲▲
- If you have died during The Interrogation, Amanda talks about how your predecessor wasn’t careful enough. Amanda▼
- Amanda will ask you what you thought of the deviant:
- TRAUMATIZED: No effect

- Amanda will then ask you what you think of Hank

- Find Lt. Anderson: Talk to the android at reception and she will direct you to wait at Hank’s desk. Go through the gates and into the precinct.

Wait for Hank:
- Explore the Station: At Hank’s desk, sit in the chair in front of it briefly, then get up again.
- Listen to headset to hear Knights of the Black Death
- Call Hank on his phone
- Scan the desk to find 8 clues.
- Hank Arrives: If Connor died in The Interrogation, Hank is a little unnerved to see you up and around. Hank▼
- Shortly after Hank shows up, he’ll get called into the Captain’s office.
- Hank Storms Out: All responses to the Captain have no effect.
- Talk with Gavin: While waiting for Hank you can also find Det. Gavin Reed in the break room. No matter what options you pick, it results in Public Opinion▼
Progress the Case:
- Android Saved in ‘The Interrogation’: If you managed to capture and interrogate the deviant successfully, you can talk to it now, in a holding area behind the Captain’s office.
- Talk with Carlos’s Android:

At the “Talk with Gavin” I picked to introduce myself, told him my model number, and then refused to bring him coffee. This did nothing to my public opinion.
I noticed that if you hang around after the “Talk with Gavin” when you hear the news reporter talking about Detroit Police using detective androids you public goes down but you leave right away before the news comes on it doesn’t change
Carl didn’t die in the chapter “broken “. Yet the magazine in the police office during chapter “waiting for Hank quote, says that he died. I’m getting really sick of this game glitches.

I’ve died as Connor in both the hostage and interrogation but no grave appears in the zen garden. Is this a glitch?
Idk but I’m having the same problem
I had the same problem. It seems that if you finished game and you will just go back and kill Connor in chapters that you did not kill him earlier it won’t trigger the graves. I had to start the game from beginning to spawn them.
You can’t skip chapters in this game if you want to redo previous sections and get different results, so if you want to the grave to appear, after Connor dies in “Interrogation” you also have to play through Markus’s and Kara’s chapters as well until you reach this chapter, I know this from experience. I went back and re-did Interrogation so Connor died, then kept playing through chapters until I reached this one and the grave was right where it was supposed to be, so no you don’t have to start the game over from the beginning thankfully.
If the android killed itself during the interrogation but you lived, your trust with Amanda will go down, she says that she’s sure you’ll be more careful in the future.
In my playthrough he shot himself and Amanda’s trust goes up. Did he bash his head in? Lol
Yeah on my playthrough he based his head in on the table and I did not intervene.
Also that question mark when you are talking to Hank is only available if you spilled his drink during “Partners”, if you did so the option “Last Night” will be available and Connor will apologize for his actions.
Another dialogue option called “New Connor” gets unlocked if Connor died during the Interrogation of the android
I would like to ask I replay the checkpoint to let carl manfred died, but i still cannot unlock the node famous painter died, i replay to let alice and kara dead, but cannot unlock the node hank get to eat lunch, and i replay to let the deviant to be sent back to cell during interrogation chapter, but still i cannot find the deviant behind the captain’s room… is it that i must replay chapter by chapter and not just select the particular checkpoint to change it?
You have to play through the chapters and can’t skip the ones in between to get the nodes
I found deviant on chapter partner, but why i can’t open the interrogation chapter ?? Im stuck here, please help
Small note – you lose public opinion when talking to Gavin, but not because of him, but the news report on the TV after the encounter. It looks like that happens anyway if you don‘t trigger it here; Markus sees that report on the metro in the Jericho-chapter, and the loss in public opinion happens there if it didn‘t happen in this chapter. Subsequently, you don‘t lose public opinion for talking to Gavin in a preventable way, it just happens at another time.
I know this is an old thread; but, if you scan through the case files one by one (not hit A) you will find out more information about Markus and Kara. Markus was a prototype of unknown series destroyed at scene and Todd reported that he had been attacked by a recently repaired Kara who had shown aggression in the past. Nothing about Alice.
Just an FYI, if Todd survives the altercation between him and Kara, he’ll be in the station reporting the disappearances.
