Call to Arms is a Side Quest from Lord Shaxx in Destiny 2. You find Lord Shaxx in The Farm social space early in the story (on the right side in the hangar), or in the tower after beating the story (by the vaults). The quest is quite easy, all you have to do is play a few crucible matches including 2 quickplays, 2 competitive and killing lots of enemies.

Speak to Shaxx. He will give you the milestone (quest) called “Call to Arms”.
Now that you’ve had a taste of the Crucible, Shaxx is eager to see what you’ve really got.
Each week, answer Shaxx’s Call to Arms by completing matches in the Crucible to earn valuable rewards.
Quest Steps:
- Play 2 Quickplay Crucible Matches: Hold touchpad (view button on xbox) to open the destination select. Then select the red crucible in the top left corner. Play 2 quickplays, it doesn’t matter if you win or lose.
- Play 2 Competitive Crucible Matches: The milestone updates automatically after the two quickplays. Now simply play two competitive matches. These are also found in the crucible select where you chose the quickplay matches earlier.
- Kill enemies in the Crucible (any mode): This is the longest objective. You’ll have to defeat lots of enemies in the Crucible. It took me 7 Crucible Matches to get this done. The progress towards this objective increased by about 13-15% per match. The better you perform the faster you complete the objective. Even if you aren’t doing great at the Crucible the progress will increase steadily with each match.

on Xbox. The milestones update automatically during the quest, you needn’t return to Shaxx after every objective. Especially for the third objective you should check the progress regularly. Unfortunately, it doesn’t say how many enemies you have to kill and simply gives a percentage.
Once everything is complete, return to Shaxx to hand in the quest. He’ll reward you with a random Exotic Gear Piece and the “Show Me What You Got” trophy or achievement.
Plan in 1,5 – 2 hours for the full quest line.

I have done the three branches of the quest, shows 73% done and also won’t let me turn in…. am i missing something?
if you are only on 73% you cant turn it in
if you are only on 73% you wont be able to hand in the quest
I’m stuck at 100% with no exotic?
Did you talk to Shaxx after getting 100% in the quest? He gives a purple engram that should also contain an exotic.
I did it and I still can’t do trials
I had a guy that had the same problem, if it says 100% and not talk to Shaxx then you still need one more kill. Got back to crucible for one more match then it should work.
Same here still haven’t got achievement either

It’s not 1% per kill, i got 72 kills in 4 games to get 41%.
24 kills with a win was 13%
22 kills with loss was 10%
9 kills with win, 9%
17 kills with loss, 9%.
It’s all over the place. Just plan on 10 games overall.
Sounds like you gain 2-3% per kill but lose 1% per death.
I have been trying to get this trophy for weeks now , but Lord Shaxx doesn’t even give me the milestone , I have completed the other 2 milestones on all my guardians
I have the same issue. After finishing the first two steps, I’m returning to Shaxx for the reward but the milestone isn’t updating to the third step.
Third milestone wont start for me as well. Complete the second one and then nothing.
