Introduction
Welcome to the Call of Duty WW2 Trophy Guide (aka “Call of Duty WWII”, “Call of Duty World War 2”, “COD WW2”). If you have played previous Call of Duty games you are no stranger to these types of trophy lists. The list is split into three categories: Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies. They are three uniquely different game modes. No trophies are missable! In the campaign you can replay chapters at any time to mop up missing collectibles and chapter-specific trophies. There is one trophy for beating each mission and one miscellaneous task per mission. Furthermore, each mission has exactly 3 Memento Collectibles. The missions are fairly long. If you want to quit out, be sure to pause the game and select “Leave” instead of just quitting the application. You can continue from the last checkpoint only if you choose the “Leave” option. If you simply quit the application it doesn’t create a save game and the entire mission needs to be replayed. As for the roadmap below, you can do the steps in any order you like. It doesn’t matter if you do the campaign first or zombies or multiplayer but you should start working on Daily Challenges as soon as possible.
Step 1: Multiplayer & Daily Challenges
The multiplayer is somewhat self-explanatory. Complete 21 Daily Challenges (Daily Orders) and reach Prestige 1 (complete Level 55). There are 6 challenges per day. So in order to get 21 Challenges you need to play multiplayer on 4 different days. However, it’s worth noting that some challenges can be tricky. So if you can’t complete a challenge you must wait another day and do easier ones instead (then it might take you 5 or 6 days). The challenges are the same for all players. You can accept daily challenges (the game calls them “daily orders”) from Major Howard in the HQ.
The reason this is listed as Step 1 is so you can work on the challenges each day. You can actually do the steps in whatever order you like. It doesn’t matter if you do the campaign, multiplayer or zombie mode first. Just keep in mind that the Online Challenges are the only thing with a waiting period and you should do the easiest ones each day.
Step 2: Campaign on Veteran Difficulty, Mission-Specific Trophies, Memento Collectibles, Heroic Actions
If you have experience with shooters you can start on Veteran difficulty right away. The start of the game is actually the most challenging. This is because unlike other shooters, you have no automatic health-recovery. The only way to restore health is via medkits. It can take some time to get used to this, but once you do it’s not too difficult. Later you unlock a teammate who can give you multiple medkits at once (with a cooldown) and another who will throw you ammo. Another ally has an artillery signal grenade, there’s a spotter who marks enemies, and yet another restocks your grenades. If Veteran difficulty is too overwhelming, you can start on a lower difficulty. Just beware that this means you have to do another run on Veteran later on.
Each mission has one trophy for completing it + one trophy for a miscellaneous task. Be sure to do all the mission-related trophies along the way. Some of them (anything health-related) can be tricky on Veteran. If you run into trouble with a trophy, feel free to come back via chapter select on a lower difficulty after beating the game. For all of the mission-related trophies you are allowed to restart checkpoints! If you mess up, restart the checkpoint immediately to retry as often as needed.
Along the way, you should pick up the 33 Memento Collectibles and do the Heroic Actions (especially dragging 9 allies to safety is easy to forget). There are 3 Mementos per mission and the game has 11 missions total. There are 3 types of Heroic Actions: Drag 9 Allies to Safety, Get 4 Enemy Groups to Surrender, Save 10 Allies Locked in Struggle. These heroic actions take place at specific predetermined locations. Each type of action has a trophy tied to it.
You can use the following guides along the way that have everything in chronological story order:
- Memento Locations Guide
- Heroic Actions Locations Guide

Step 3: Zombie Mode
As is usually the case with Call of Duty, the Zombie trophies are the hardest and most confusing. If you have a group of experienced zombie players pushing you, it’s easy enough. Solo it is a lot harder, especially the easter eggs (8/10 difficulty solo, 5/10 difficulty with a good group). Therefore, it is highly recommended you do this with a group. Even if it’s just 2 players, it’s still easier than going at it solo.
The big task is to finish the Main Easter Egg. A few other zombie trophies will come naturally along the way. The ones that aren’t easter egg related are easy enough and straightforward.
For this step you can follow The Final Reich Easter Egg Guide. It focuses on the main easter egg and includes other useful tips for zombie mode.

Potato Masher Save 5 allies by throwing away a live enemy grenade. |
![]() |
Sometimes enemies throw grenades at you, especially on higher difficulties and while you’re behind cover. An easy spot for it is in Mission 2: Operation Cobra. After the long tank drive at the start of the mission, you will have to go in an enemy building. In the very first enemy building of the mission, head upstairs and just stand there waiting for enemies to toss grenades from the farm below. The enemies are hiding behind haystacks on the farm and will frequently toss grenades at you. There are also lots of your allies in this spot near you. When you stand at the balcony leading to the farm you’re effectively blocking the path for your allies. This will cause a few of them to get stuck behind you (around 10 allies total). It’s super easy to get 5 in one spot here. |

Chain Smoker Disable 50 enemies using smoke grenades. |

This can quickly be farmed via checkpoint restart at the start of mission 3. When the mission starts you’ll see a house with lots of enemies in front of you. Distinguished Service Complete the game on Veteran difficulty. |
![]() |
Complete all missions on Veteran difficulty. Can be done via mission select.
Veteran is available from the beginning! Unlike most other shooters, your health does not recover automatically. You must find Medkits in the game world or have your allies toss them to you, then use the medkits to restore health. Medkits are frequently dropped by enemies so be sure to search their corpses. There are relatively few enemies in the game and your allies have lots of useful abilities such as providing artillery fire on an enemy position. Luckily, the abilities of your allies (such as medkits) recharge over time so they can be used repeatedly. Stay in cover, don’t walk out in the open and advance carefully. Hang back and take out the enemies one by one. Use smoke grenades when changing cover to obscure the enemies’ line of sight. If you’ve already beaten the game on a lower difficulty you can do this via mission select. Before each mission, choose Veteran difficulty. In mission select you can also see which missions you have completed on Veteran (they will have a striped ribbon on them). |

![]() |
One of the Lucky Few Breach the seawall in under 2 minutes without taking MG fire. |
![]() |
Mission 1: D-Day The first thing you do in mission 1 is to run up a beach guarded by MGs firing at you. For this trophy you are not allowed to be hit by the MGs at all. However, you are allowed to restart checkpoints if you do get hit. My strategy is to stick close to Pierson. He will run when it’s safe to and take cover when needed. You just have to stick to him like glue and run very closely alongside him. Then the MGs have a low chance of hitting you. When Pierson takes cover you should crawl on the ground. While crawling the MGs are less likely to hit you. Remember you can restart the checkpoint when being hit. The trophy pops when detonating the pole charge at the seawall. |

Automatic Campaign Trophy, cannot be missed.
![]() |
Gasoline Cowboy Rescue your allies with the Sherman while keeping your armor above 80% in Collateral Damage. |
![]() |
Chapter 6: Collateral Damage At the very start of mission 6 you will be driving a tank. It’s a relatively lengthy section that lasts for about 10 minutes. During the tank drive, there will be enemies with rocket launchers and enemy tanks shooting at you. Also put the difficulty on rookie to make this go smoother. If you get damaged too badly, restart the checkpoint. |

Mission 7: Death Factory For this you must get through the foggy forest without being detected by human enemies. There is one dog that will always detect you and that’s fine. It’s the woods area where you see the dead pilot hanging from his parachute. The trophy unlocks after reuniting with your teammate, opening the door inside the bunker, and reaching the woods area that doesn’t have any fog. You can restart checkpoints if you get detected. If an enemy sees you for just a moment that’s okay as long as you don’t alert the entire camp. |

Mission 8: Hill 493 Shortly after the start of mission 8, you will have to escort an engineer holding an explosive pole charge up a hill. There is an MG guarding the hill. Shoot the MG to suppress it, then quickly tell the engineer to move on. Repeat this until he reaches the top of the hill. You always have to shoot at the MG a few times until it stops firing. Some enemies will also spawn so be sure to kill them. If the engineer dies you can simply restart the checkpoint to retry. |

Automatic Campaign Trophy, cannot be missed.
![]() |
Flyboy Protect the bombers by personally shooting down 12 enemy planes in Battle of the Bulge. |
![]() |
Mission 9: Battle of the Bulge In mission 9 you will be flying an attack plane and have to protect your allied bombers by shooting down enemy planes. In total there are two waves of enemy airplanes. The first wave has 8, the second wave 12. So there are 20 planes total and you must personally destroy 12 of them. Press the touchpad to highlight enemy planes. Fly close to them and hold L2 to target them. Once you’ve locked on them you can speed up (push left stick up) to get closer to them, thus they are easier to hit. It may take a few playthroughs. The thing is, there are several checkpoints throughout this and if you were too slow in the beginning it’s almost impossible to still end up with 12 kills. |

Automatic Campaign Trophy, cannot be missed.

Defender Protect the convoy by shooting down all the planes in The Rhine. |
![]() |
Mission 11: The Rhine After getting on the AA Gun in Mission 11, you have to shoot down attack planes. There are 25 planes total. Here is the order in which the planes appear: If you miss a plane, restart the checkpoint immediately! It is highly recommended that you back up your save game manually before getting on the AA gun. Otherwise if you mess up you have to replay the entire mission. If the trophy doesn’t pop you can copy back the save game and it will put you back before the AA gun. This way you don’t have to replay 10 minutes of the mission every time. |

Buck Private Get 10 kills in Multiplayer while playing online. |
![]() |
Self-explanatory — play multiplayer and kill 10 enemies by whatever means. A very quick and easy trophy.
![]() |
Ricky Recruit Complete 21 daily challenges in Headquarters. |
![]() |
Each day there are 6 challenges in multiplayer. So in order to get 21 Challenges you need to play multiplayer on 4 different days. However, it’s worth noting that some challenges can be tricky. So if you can’t complete a challenge you can wait another day and do easier ones instead (so it might take you 5 or 6 days). The challenges are the same for all players.
You can accept daily challenges (the game calls them “daily orders”) from Major Howard in the HQ. An example of a challenge is “kill two enemies with one grenade”. They are small multiplayer tasks like that. You must also redeem the daily challenges with Major Howard in the HQ after completing the requirements. Be sure to talk to him whenever you’re done with a set of challenges to redeem your reward. You should work on this trophy from the beginning and log into multiplayer each day to do a few challenges (at least the easy ones). Otherwise, you might end up with just this trophy remaining and having to wait for days to get enough challenges. Glitch Warning: There are reports of this trophy unlocking later than it should. It took some players 25+ Daily Challenges to unlock it. If it doesn’t pop after the 21st challenge, keep doing more challenges and it should unlock eventually. It’s just a tracking glitch and the trophy is still obtainable. It’s recommended that you redeem all finished challenges with Major Howard in the HQ and not through the orders menu, this may help with tracking. |

General of the Army Enter Prestige 1 in Multiplayer while playing online. |
![]() |
For this you must complete level 55 in Multiplayer (after reaching level 55 fill up the XP bar one more time). Then you can enter prestige mode by talking to the General in the headquarters. The general is standing behind the bunker in the middle of the headquarters. He is very clearly marked with the text “Eligible for Prestige” once the requirements have been met. This resets your level and unlocks but you earn a new prestige icon next to your name. I would like to point out again that just reaching level 55 does not suffice, you actually have to fill up the XP bar of level 55 all the way to the end.
In total you need 1,457,200 XP (200-250 War matches, 20-25 hours of game time). War is the fastest mode to level up. It gives the most XP of all modes and even if you’re not great at shooters you can earn XP by doing the objectives and helping your team. |

Divisional Commander Prestige a Division in Multiplayer when playing online. |
![]() |
The first time you log into Multiplayer you will have to choose a division. You now earn division XP by simply killing enemies and playing online matches. Winning matches gives more division XP than losing. Practically anything you do increases your Division XP. You can track the progress by pressing the Options-Button > Solider > Divisions > press ![]() To prestige a division you need to reach & complete level 4 with it. It takes roughly 350,000 XP with that division to complete level 4 (150k to reach lvl 4 and another 165k to complete level 4). Then you can talk to the Division Prestige guy in the headquarters. This won’t take long at all. You get around 10,000 Division XP per match. So that’s roughly 30 matches to prestige a division. You can switch your division at any time if you want. They all have different effects. On your way to Player Prestige 1 (reach player level 55) you can easily prestige a division. Note that after reaching division level 4 the XP counter keeps going up and you need another 165k to complete the level and be eligible for prestige. |

Dark Reunion In The Final Reich, save Klaus. |
![]() |
Before you can do the “hard” easter egg for the Dark Reunion Trophy / Achievement you must first play the casual easter egg (Fireworks trophy) until the point of no return, meaning the last step before the boss fight where you enter codes into a machine to activate the “Voice of God”. You are not allowed to shoot the orange orb in the Emperor’s Chamber after activating the voice of god. Doing so will bring you to the Klaus Boss and continue the easy easter egg. Check out the trophies “Fireworks” & “Dark Arts” first. It’s highly recommended that you play with 4 people for this. You should also have done a playthrough of the easy “Fireworks” easter egg first to practice for the boss fight. You wouldn’t want to go through all the trouble of the hard easter egg just to mess up at the endboss. After you’ve done the easy easter egg & built all tesla gun upgrades the remaining steps are pretty simple to do. For a Step-by-Step Guide see Call of Duty WW2 Zombies: The Final Reich Easter Egg Guide. |

Pressure Cooker In Prologue, survive until wave 20. |
![]() |
The prologue is started by going to the Zombies menu > Play Online > it should start a cutscene automatically and then you’ll be playing the prologue.
You can replay the prologue at any time under Zombies > Play Online > Replay Prologue. There’s a secret Mystery Box that makes surviving a lot easier: To unlock the Mystery Box you need to shoot 10 Lanterns around the map. Check the video above or if you prefer screenshots, use this guide: COD WW2 – How to Unlock Mystery Box in Prologue. The map is very tiny so surviving is actually not that easy. The trick is to run in circles and “train” the zombies, meaning they all need to be in one line. This minimizes the risk of getting cornered. It takes a bit of time but if you run around aimlessly you’ll just get cornered and die. There’s a “quick revive” and armor upstairs in the house. You can refill the quick revive 3 times. It auto-revives you when you go down. The armor gets more expensive each time and protects you from fatal hits. Downstairs you can buy the MP-40 weapon. Refilling ammo costs only 500 points so it’s more cost-effective up to round 10 than buying mystery box weapons (those cost 1000 points each with no way to refill ammo). You also have a special ability called “Freefire”. It recharges automatically when you shoot enemies. Activate it by pressing L1+R1 to get infinite ammo for a brief time. This is really great when you have an MG from the mystery box as it can kill the zombies very quickly. With a bit of luck you can draw a “Jack-in-the-Box” from the Mystery Box. Those are explosives that lure the zombies so they won’t attack you for a few seconds. If you lose any quick revives before round 10 you should restart the match. When the zombies kill you the match restarts inside the house at round 2 so you needn’t restart the prologue from the beginning each time. The trophy pops as soon as you beat round 19 (you don’t have to survive round 20, just reach it). My Strategy:
What can go wrong: After you drop down the ledge by the self-revive it’s possible you’ll fall onto a zombie below and get trapped. To avoid this, always be shooting when you drop down. This will quickly kill zombies trying to trap you. Even if you do go down you have 3 self-revives in total. It’s also a matter of timing, if you time it right there won’t be any zombies trapping you. It really comes down to timing and learning the zombie spawns. Everything is scripted, zombies always spawn in the same places / same order each round. The only difference is that they spawn in more quickly in later rounds and can take more hits. |

![]() |
Red Mist In The Final Reich, get 10 kills from a single Bomber’s explosion. |
![]() |
Bombers start spawning frequently from round 11+ onward. They are bigger than normal zombies and carry an explosive canister on their back. The easiest way to get this is by killing a Bomber so it drops the explosive canister on the floor. Then shoot the explosive canister on the floor when 10 or more zombies are standing close to it. The blast radius isn’t the greatest so the zombies need to be really close together. Simply “train” the zombies, meaning you must run up and down an area until they are all walking in a line. Then lure them to the canister. You can also throw a Jack-in-the-Box. These lure all zombies to the same spot. Before the Jack-in-the-Box explodes, shoot the explosive canister that the Bomber dropped. You can get Jack-in-the-Box from the “Mystery Box”. You can see the location of the mystery box by looking for the green beam of light in the sky and going to the spot of the green beam. There are always 4 bombers spawning in the bunker, after opening the middle bunker door to the salt mines. You can get to them very early and lure them to a big group of zombies. Only the player shooting the canister earns the trophy, other people in the session don’t get it automatically. |

Dark Arts In The Final Reich, build all variants of the Tesla Gun. |
![]() |
There are 4 Tesla Gun Variants: Bloodthirst, Hurricane, Midnight, Reaper. You will have to build all 4 Tesla Gun Variants as part of the full easter egg for the “Dark Reunion” trophy. So while going for Dark Reunion you’ll get this automatically.
For a step-by-step guide explaining all upgrades, check out this: COD WW2 Zombies: All Tesla Gun Upgrades. It’s recommended you complete the “easy” easter egg for the Fireworks trophy first to learn the basics of this map. You must build all 4 Upgrade Variants in one match. Everyone in the match will earn the trophy regardless of who builds them. Bloodthirst: Hurricane: Midnight: Reaper: |

Strike! In The Final Reich, knock over 10 zombies with a Wüstling charge. |
![]() |
Wüstlinge are bigger than normal zombies. They use melee attacks and charge at you when shooting them. They frequently spawn from round 11 onward (they can spawn as soon as round 7 but it’s rarer). What you need to do is train a group of zombies (run with them from one end of an area to the other so they are all running in one line). Now let the Wüstling get behind the normal zombies. Shoot the Wüstling and he’ll come charging towards you, knocking over all other zombies along the way. When he knocks over 10 zombies the trophy pops. |

Lurking Around In The Final Reich, find and shoot Dr. Straub. |
![]() |
Dr. Straub randomly spawns behind windows somewhere on the map. He’s a man in a white coat just standing behind the windows. Your best bet is to check all the windows on the map.
The reality of it is, that this trophy will almost certainly pop randomly without trying to get it. This is because when you shoot at zombies, your bullets will fly through walls and can hit Dr. Straub. For example, he can spawn behind windows in the starting area and it’s very easy to hit him by accident. Instead of searching for him, just do the other zombie trophies and there’s a 99% chance you’ll get this automatically along the way. The trophy also pops for everyone in the group, regardless of who shoots Dr. Straub. So playing in a group of 4 to high rounds has a fair chance of making this trophy pop randomly when someone shoots a bullet through a wall and accidentally hits Straub. Otherwise, just look behind all windows on the map and if you can’t find the guy, restart the match. The earliest I found him was round 6 but it’s possible he can spawn earlier. |

Undertaker In The Final Reich, kill the Bomber with the shovel. |
![]() |
Before starting a zombies match on The Final Reich, you should pick the Medic Class with the Camouflage ability. This renders you invisible for a few seconds which is perfect to melee kill enemies without being attacked by them. If you don’t know how to get to this point, follow my Pack-a-Punch guide until the end of Step 2: Pack-a-Punch Guide. Bombers also spawn in later rounds (starting at round 12+ or so). The bunker is just the first and easiest place to do it. |

White Knuckles In The Final Reich, survive 3 Pest waves in a single match without getting hit. |
![]() |
For this trophy you need to play at least until wave 15. There’s a pest wave every 5 rounds. So it happens at wave 5 – 10 -15. Sometimes the pest wave can be delayed by a round or two. The pest waves spawn special types of zombies that run quicker than normal ones, but they also die quicker. You have to complete 3 of those pest waves in one sitting without being hit during those pest waves. Outside of pest waves you are totally allowed to get hit by other zombies. Just during the pest waves you can’t take any damage. |

I think for the Dark Reunion
In The Final Reich, save Klaus.
you have to save him in the boss fight some how..
zombies looks hard hate when they put zombie trophies into cod
TD says
Just defeat the boss. You will see. I didn’t have to do anything special to “save him in the boss fight”
Luke says
Can you elaborate where to find the Daily Challenges?
PowerPyx says
In the barracks from Major Howard, as soon as you log into multiplayer. The guy sitting at the table. It’s different the first time you ever log into Multiplayer as it wants you to pick a division first. Then the next time you log in, you can walk around the barracks hub area and accept daily challenges.
Luke says
Cool, I thought so just the wording was weird since they’re called Orders in game, and challenges are something else.
Super Mario Odyssey, Assassin's Creed Origins and Wolfenstein 2 says
Powerpyx do you put collectible videos guide for Wolfenstein 2?
Rocky says
Every mission in story i click on the mission —> start mission —> change difficulty to Veteran. (Just to be save Veteran is enabled)
Is this fine or do i have to start the first mission on veteran and then just play continue.
Cause you say „a full playthrough from start to end“.
Other CoDs were like. Complete every mission on veteran, doesn‘t care which order.
Mitchell says
For quarter given trophy you can make enimes surrnder when clearing the 2nd floor of mission 5 with the shotgun where you get the fire grenades
mitch says
Any1 else struggling to make round 20 in the prologe for zombies ?? I make it to 18 then run outa reveives and monkey bombs.any tips ??
Mr Zamb says
Just figure out how to train better and how to run past zombies cleaner. Also every time you pass by the MP40 on your route buy ammo. You never want to run out of ammo for it.
Crs45 says
If you hurry there isba railing glitch that can get you there easily
Mitchell says
Does anyone know how to do the dark arts trophy?
PowerPyx says
Working on it right now, the guide for it will be updated today
Krozzr says
So, in the achievement Dark Arts, I need to build all the 4 upgrades in the same match???
Or I can build in diferents matches? Like a 1 upgrade per match?
Thanks for the guide. I’m glad.
PowerPyx says
In one match.
Ayman says
Hey, I started the first mission on just a regular difficulty and then I played about 5-6 missions on vetran difficulty, can I replay the first on the hardest difficulty after I complete the campaign ?
Because for some reason, it doesn’t allow me right now!
Plz respond ..
Mitchell says
Ye you can go back and replay missions on any difficulty
Alpy says
For the Praise and Pass trophy, there is a checkpoint you can farm half way through Chapter 1. After dragging Zussman to the medic when he gets stabbed, Turner will have his ability fully charged. You can request the ammo and then reload last checkpoint and repeat.
Contestedcoma says
I actuallly found that if you don’t hold l2 during the. Battle of the bulge flying portion it’s much easier to shoot down the enemy planes just spam the touch pad and just shoot as you fly towards them this way to don’t start to dodge and weave I did it this way and shot down 18 planes myself
soapmw3 says
are there better ways to get to round 20 on the prologue?
Alpy says
Guys, I have a quick question. For the ‘Dark Arts’ trophy, if I’m playing a game with 4 people and one person gets all upgrades of the Tesla gun, does that unlock the trophy for me? Because this guy I was playing with assembled the Tesla gun for himself and I unlocked the ‘Lightning Handler’ trophy.
PowerPyx says
Yes, all players get the trophy. Doesn’t matter who builds the Tesla Guns / Variants.
Rob says
Do the zombie trophies pop in a custom game or do you need to play a public game or then to pop?
PowerPyx says
Custom game works for all of them
Andre says
Happen to me : At my last pest wave, i did take damage from a Wustling, (but i dont know if that enemy spawned in the pasts rounds or in the present round (Rd20). Even with the damage, i take the trophy! (But i didnt take damage from pests enemies at all.
Noire says
So for the Zombies trophies, I guess every trophy unlocks for all players when someone does the job right? So really only one person really need to know how to do the easter eggs and everything while the rest can help just by staying alive?
PowerPyx says
Yes that is correct, when one person finishes the easter egg all players will earn the trophy. There are a few trophies that you must do yourself (Strike, Red Mist, Undertaker, White Knuckles).
Anything related to the easter egg & tesla guns will unlock for all players simultaneously.

The defender trophy HAS to be glitched cause for about three years every time I played to get this trophy I play it over and over and over again. Making absolute sure I hit very plane, and I just don’t seem to get the trophy. Idk what’s up with that.
ziggurcat says
For the collectibles, and the Heroic Actions, can you go back via Chapter Select (if that’s an option?), and just get the ones you missed or do you have to start over from the beginning of the game?
ziggurcat says
For the Sunday Driver trophy, restarting checkpoint doesn’t work. I’ve had it restart me right at the point where I made contact with something, thus completely negating the trophy, and forcing me to restart the mission. Is there a different, easier route?
