Assassin’s Creed Origins Wild Ride Side Quest Walkthrough

October 28, 2017 by dalailama1989 1 Comment

Wild Ride is a Side Quest in Assassin’s Creed Origins. This walkthrough shows how to complete the quest.

Recommended Level: 12
Region: Kanopos Nome
Requirement: having finished Old Times
Reward: 1.000 XP + a Mount

Objectives:

  • Mount the chariot with Nikias
  • Race the course
  • Speak to Philocrates
  • Follow Nikias to the bandit hideout
  • Find and bring back Saganaki to the estate

For this quest, you want to talk to Nikias, whom we briefly met in the previous quest. He resides at a big estate south-east of the Hippodrome. Because it came to his attention that you once raced with his rival Claridas, he is eager to introduce you to his father Philocrates who is a famous breeder of horses and owner of a racing team. Shortly after this, we find ourselves mounting a chariot and trying to prove our skills. If you rode a camel, a horse and a cart before, riding the chariot will be the last thing you need for the :bronze: Rider’s Licence-trophy.
The race-track is very easy and consists only of wide turns – there isn’t even a time-limit for this, so there is hardly a way to fail it. When Bayek finishes the track, we already see Philocrates enraged talking to his employees. Thieves came and stole his most valuable horse – Saganaki. Now, Bayek, Nikias and three other team members will make their way to the bandit hideout to reclaim what’s theirs. The hideout is located on the north-easternmost island of the region Kanopos Nome.
Being stealthy this time around is actually optional for a change because you have some fighting friends with you – make use of this, because there won’t be many similar missions. Once you cleared the camp, it’s time to mount the precious horse and bring it back to the estate. Philocrates is very happy and astounded to see his horse and son coming home in good shape. This will also end this quest, which gives you 1,000 XP a new mount as a reward.

You could put who/what Saganaki is, it will confuse the gen z crowd since they’re not too bright. You did a good walkthrough.
